A little Cousy gem! Wanted brunch like food on our way home, while looking for chai this little gem came up on my search 🔍 we went there and I got my chai but also got my vegan version of no bread burger, which is what exactly I wanted! Lovely presentation and flavourful food 🥘 🙏

I visited here two weeks ago. Prior to coming, I messaged the cafe via instagram to find out if they catered for gluten free and diary intolerances (not the same person). To my delight they said they did and so decided to pay them a visit. When you step inside here, you cannot believe you are in bearwood. It has a lovely atmosphere. We were there for a friend’s catchup, but there was also a mother and child sat nearby and also couples. The cafe does not take bookings and so be prepared there may be a wait. We were fortunate enough to find a table. The cafe were very accommodating for me and my friend who is gluten free, and were great at suggesting substitutions. I ordered the sweetcorn fritters and asked for the cheese to be removed as I have a diary intolerance. They asked if I wanted more avocado instead and I declined, instead opted for more pomegranate. (I think there was already half an avocado on the dish anyway). I also ordered a side portion of turka beans. The food was generally yummy. The sweetcorn dish was really tasty. I was also looking forward to the turka beans, which didn’t go with my meal, but had them on the side and in fairness was a large sized portion. I didn’t really enjoy them though as they put hard crunchy chickpeas in throughout. I still ate them as the side dish was expensive, and just picked the chickpeas out and gave to my friend! The above lunch cost me over £20 hence the 4* rating. Food was nice, but feel the price was a bit steep for a small cafe in bearwood. Or has everything just gone mega expensive?!

LOVE this café! Myself and my partner moved to the area a year ago and have constantly come back to this café, we love it. We're both veggie and there's a fab range of veggie options which are all super tasty. Great savoury and sweet options, particularly love the pistachio pancakes and french toast. Staff are really lovely too and it's always a nice vibe.

Gorgeous spiced coffee with a hint of cinnamon and a pefect roast. Not bitter like other chains and the most stunning, moist mini Victoria sponge. Really recommend checking out Cogs if you like your coffee.

Stopped off at this place on a one off occasion visiting the area. 5 stars for the latte ☕ Admittedly it was a wet miserable Saturday afternoon, but disappointingly there was no real atmosphere to welcome you and the heating was on very low or not on at all 🥶 Would be happy to return on another day when it's a bit warmer.

I was here at 8am this morning. Clean, bright and airy. Friendly staff. Locals who knew the staff were constantly coming in while I was there, having a chat which made for a good atmosphere. The ingredients were all very good quality including the coffee; the home made beans and rosti were really nice and unique. I was very happy and very satisfied, thoroughly recommended.

The perfect neighbourhood place. I don't live locally and was only stopped by for breakfast but it was really lovely. The food was great, the service was so friendly and it was amazing to be in a place run by people who love it. I wish I could come by more often. If you have the chance to stop by, absolutely do it's worth your time and money.

I've been going to Paul's for a while now as the perfect spot to stop on a day browsing up and down Harborne high street. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, and even when it gets busy the team will do their best to let you know when seating will be available and offer to get in touch to let you know so you can continue shopping while you wait. The food is always amazing, there's a range of items on offer, all day brunch, great lunch options, sweet dishes and cakes, all to suit a range of appetites and dietary requirements. There's so many good options I've often had difficulty deciding and the team have been helpful in helping advise and adapting where possible. Would recommend Paul's to anyone visiting the area!

Stumbled upon this place whilst looking for a late breakfast in Harborne. The food was fantastic, homemade, and delightful. The staff were super friendly and passionate about everything. This is the epitome of hospitality. Can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Modern setting with good ambience. Delicious food with impeccable service. We had delicious garlic and chilli wings with summer rolls that were light and refreshing. Then mains was a chicken coconut curry and a fragrant beef Phò. Both delicious and filling!! Finished off with a Carrot cake 😋 Definitely coming again.

Perusing the menu, I opted for the slow-cooked beef stew, accompanied by steamed rice and a side of spring rolls. The stew was a triumph, its rich, hearty flavors melding seamlessly with tender chunks of beef, each bite offering a comforting depth that suggested careful preparation. The spring rolls, crisp and golden, delivered a satisfying crunch and a burst of fresh flavors that complemented the meal beautifully. Following the main course, I indulged in an iced coffee paired with a pistachio-flavored circular croissant. The croissant’s delicate layers were buttery and flaky, with the pistachio adding a subtle, nutty sweetness that elevated the pastry to something truly memorable. While the prices may not cater to the budget-conscious, the quality and presentation justify the occasional splurge, with the bill totaling just over £30. The café itself is impeccably maintained, with cleanliness evidently a priority. Though not an everyday stop, it serves as a delightful retreat for those moments when a touch of indulgence is in order.

This is a great addition to the high street and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival the place was not too busy and we were seated very quickly which is always a bonus. The menu was not over complicated and the choices were varied. We opted for the salt & pepper squid and spring rolls for starters. The squid was fresh and soft and the springs rolls were devoured with ease. For mains we had the chicken pho, beef pho, slow cooked beef stew and beef vietnamese coconut curry. The pho was very filling and the taste was on point. The slow cooked beef was amazing and so soft that I would try this again. The curry was also very tasty. All in all it was good experience and have no issues in coming back again. The staff are also very friendly. Keep up the good work guys!!

Just ate from there now, our first time visiting. We ordered 2 caribbean breakfasts the owner is very friendly & helpful and the food was really nice. Would definitely eat back here again. Feedback for the owner we would like if you offered avocado of some sort as an extra :)

What an amazing coffee shop. Located in the heart of AG. Long overdue. Definitely coming back to this coffee joint. Great customer service as well as being a fast one. Grabbed a cappuccino and Blue Lagoon Love the inside seating but opted to drink out since it was a nice sunny day. Clean and quality products Great value for money.

We as a family visited La Venue for the first time yesterday. I must tell you what an amazing Chef(the owner) is! So down to earth! I loved Vegan hot chocolate❤️ My husband and kids enjoyed their drinks and meal! Perfect ambience for the family or any one who would want to enjoy perfect cuppa ☕️ with their loved ones👍

I just keep coming back for more! Have tried a number of different coffees from the menu and pleasantly surprised with the Baristas skills every time. Glad this place has opened in my local area, it adds a much needed bit of class and elegance to the AG town centre. Customer service second to none and the coffee and cakes have been perfection every time. Even better than Costa Coffee down the road.

Wow! A lovely modern little cafe. Great food selection and combinations. They also do all day breakfasts. We had cakes to go which were of excellent quality. They have a good selection of teas, which you can purchase by the cup or a pot. There is parking outside on the street or in the layby.

I went here for a coffee after getting my hair done at MJ’s Hair Salon as part of my little pampering treat to myself and all I can say is… Wow. I am only really going off the incredible Persian Chai Latte & wedge of baklava, with occasional other drinks and cakes. It is the only place I know that has incredible baklava AND doesn’t give teeny tiny bites for big prices. Instead, your massive cake-sliced wedge will cost about £4.50. It’s all beautifully presented with little dried mini rose buds. Only issue is omg they can keep you waiting for ages if it’s busy - one new person forgot about me 😹 It’s also very popular as it is so nice so at times it’s a bit full. However, that is always a good sign. Lastly, the other good sign is that the cafe is often full of Persian clientele. They are happy to eat the British/Persian fusion food and I’m sure that if the food wasn’t up to scratch, they wouldn’t go - there are other popular venues at the other end of Hagley Road offering Persian food or cafe fusion options. Loving it. Added a couple of photos of the Persian Chai Latte and the Baklava wedge.

I wish there was a 10 for service. This place has the best customer service ever. They are always smiling they always give you a little extra either a hot chocolate or a smoothie. Wonderful. The place is clean and inviting. It is Halal/ Vegetarian. You really must go and support them.

Amazing experience here again. First happened upon this Café by a chance Google search when looking for food nearby pending an event. Full English was excellent, service was exemplary and the coffee was incredible. Tried again today and had the Persian breakfast. The food was incredible again, even better than last time! Service again exemplary. Will definitely be revisiting on numerous occasions.

Fantastic! I can't rate this little cafe highly enough! My friend and I just popped in for a coffee and were greeted with such friendly enthusiasm and generosity. Nothing was too much trouble, and the coffee, complimentary cream puffs and the polish soup was all to die for! Deliciously flavoursome and all served with a kind-hearted smile. Thank you! "Burgers Beer Coffee Cake" - the four basic food groups. The writing on the wall must date from a previous owner as it does not do justice to the extensive menu with both English as well as Polish dishes available. I arrived at what was very much coffee and cake time but a full Polish breakfast was provided. I've lived and worked in Poland and this was very much a ENG-POL fusion (Polish hotel breakfasts are typically of the disappointing continental cold buffet variety). The coffee was good (better than Coffee One, Kings Heath, yesterday) and the breakfast was better still. Value for money as well. The Polish soundtrack reminded me of happy times in Lower Silesia/Dolny Śląsk

What an amazing jewel we discovered!!!! Such a cutesy cafe Authentic Polish food Amazing freshness for a breakfast but would come here for again be it lunch or dinner!!! A wonderful little café that serves tea and coffee as well as milkshakes and food ranging from cold sandwiches to cakes and confectionery. The atmosphere is very homely and you'll be well taken care of by the lovely manager. They also serve some delicious homemade Polish food for a heartier meal if you're hungry. Highly recommended!! Bring the kids!

Really lovely restaurant! I went here for breakfast. The garden/courtyard area was gorgeous. I like the option of using a QR code to order. It was quick and easy to choose and pay for what I wanted. It was good that the option to adjust and modify items was there too. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. I had the vegan breakfast, which was delicious, affordable and a good portion size. The scrambled tofu was light, fluffy and flavoursome. Flat white with the house blend coffee with oat milk was also lovely. Loved it. Service was super efficient and friendly. I definitely would recommend eating here, and I'm planning on returning soon. Thanks! :)

The web ordering system is functional, though it can be a bit time-consuming for older patrons. However, the convenience of ample paid parking at the rear, accessible via the RingGo app, is a definite plus. 5 stars are not enough for this place. The only struggle is to choose from such a variety of delicious food every time I'm here, there's loads of veggie/vegan options. Always welcoming and with a smile (thanks Shaun for this time!), great vibes and playlists! Veggie boss bowl will feed you for the entire day :)
