The Heart of Birmingham, Me You! As a frequent reviewer, I am lost for words, Absolutely outstanding, from street to seat, it serves. "BEST KARAK IN UK" seen from either end, On Ladypool Road, where Divine Hospitality sends. Drawn to the door, by warmth so neat, Comfortably greeted, in the ME YOU seat. Karak’s not just a drink, it’s an embrace so true, ME YOU, the finest in town, city, and the UK too.

I recently ordered online from Me and You, and unfortunately, one of the meals was missing from my order. I called the restaurant, and Hakim, the owner, was incredibly apologetic and polite. He immediately offered to provide the missing meal free of charge and invited me to come and collect it at my convenience. When I arrived, Hakim greeted me warmly and ensured the issue was resolved quickly. His professionalism and outstanding customer service turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a pleasant one. The food was delicious, as always, and I truly appreciate Hakim's effort to make things right. I highly recommend Me and You for their great food and exceptional service!

A great place, warm welcome, I enjoyed brunch, the service was excellent. The big bloom breakfast was flavoursome and light. Enjoyed the mango lassi and dessert. You must try the Coconut French Toast. Suhail and staff were great.Definitely recommend this place.

Review: A Delightful Brunch Date Spot Yesterday, we decided to try out Bloom for a halal brunch date. It’s a cozy spot that’s gained quite a reputation, so we were eager to see if it lived up to the hype. As soon as we arrived, we noticed how busy it was—always a promising sign. Despite the crowd, the line moved surprisingly fast, and the staff was impressively organized. While we waited, the lively buzz of conversations and the sight of colorful dishes being served heightened our anticipation. We ordered hot chocolate, vanilla latte, waffle chicken and croque Madame. We also couple of their pastries.The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The service was another highlight. Even with the packed house, the staff remained attentive and quick to address requests. Our food arrived in under 20 minutes, which is no small feat given how busy it was. If I had to nitpick, it would be the noise level. It’s not the place for a quiet, intimate conversation, but honestly, the energy felt infectious rather than overwhelming. Overall, Bloom delivered on all fronts: delicious food, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a visit, whether it’s for a casual date or a meet-up with friends. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd—it’s popular for a reason!

Went here for the first time for brunch after recommendation. Was excellent. From moment we walked in to being sat down, even though it was heaving. Great service. Ordered at the counter and they were really pleasant. Brought our drinks over timely and breakfast came within minutes. Excellent presentation as well as taste. They asked if we were ok and everything fine with food. Nothing over the top, just the right level of service and attentive detail. Really impressed. Can see why this place is so busy and popular. Definitely will be returning. They have a mixture of breakfast and lunch dishes. Great selection of teas and coffees as well as a small range of smoothies and mocktails. Prices pretty reasonable. All round 5 stars!

I had a wonderful visit to Bloom today with my mum, auntie, and younger brother. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the lovely staff and promptly seated, which set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The atmosphere at Bloom is perfect – comfortable, laid-back seating that makes it an ideal spot for a family outing. Plus, we found parking conveniently right outside, which made the whole experience even easier. The menu offers a wide variety of tempting breakfast and lunch options, as well as an impressive selection of drinks. We ordered the Full English Breakfast, Classic French Toast, and English Breakfast Tea. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and just as delicious as we’d hoped. Every dish was perfectly cooked. Overall, we were all thoroughly impressed with the food and service. Bloom truly stands out as one of the best breakfast spots in Birmingham, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast or brunch experience. It’s definitely one of my top 3 spots in the city!

This place is a work of art. Whoever designed the interior of this place did an amazing job. I only tried the Lime and Mint Aseer Juice and it was phenomenal. It was so good I had to order another one straight after. I have yet to try any of their food though - so I do plan on coming back for sure…

This is a must visit place! Desserts are delicious and unique, and drinks are really nice. Whole place is aesthetically pleasing, very beautiful decor. We were served by Ashjan and she was amazing - very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be returning soon.

Halawat is a hidden gem for dessert lovers! Their treats are absolutely divine—each one crafted with perfect flavor and texture.The great atmosphere and friendly staff make it a top spot for anyone with a sweet tooth. Worth the travel from London. Highly recommend!

Came on a Friday evening as a group of 6. At first we were asked to wait at our cars because they don’t have an appropriate waiting area, and they would give us a call. Which is fair enough. We were asked if we had a reservation but we were under the impression that they don’t take reservations, probably best to book in advance if you can. The seating area isn’t too big, and there is only one table that can accommodate 6 people. The desserts were great, the kahwa was delicious and the iced coffee, so I heard, was very very strong, but good. Menu is generally on the pricey side, but I do believe all the desserts are made in house so I can excuse that. The atmosphere and decor is nice, quite minimalistic, and the bukhoor smells lovely, although you can hardly smell it over the kahwa 😅 I don’t mind, the smell of kahwa made the shop very inviting to me. Shame that there is a pub a couple of doors down, a lot of people smoking (tobacco and weed) so it smells awful as you’re going in, and I can imagine it can potentially get a bit more unpleasant later into the evening.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Kinder Bueno fluffy pancake at this Japanese dessert shop was heavenly! Light, airy, and packed with rich chocolate-hazelnut flavor, every bite was so soft and airy, it melted in my mouth. A perfect blend of texture and decadence. Absolute must-try for dessert lovers! Despite the small room for sitting it is nice for a quick dessert eat in or take away.

The fluffiest pancakes ever, super delicious and light. Staff was AMAZING. Super friendly service. Simple and straightforward menu, makes it very easy to order. I had the cocoa and my partner had the pistachio. The atmosphere is laid back and the smell of hot pancakes in the air makes u wanna stay forever. I’d 100% recommend!!!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a friendly staff and a unique touch games at every table, perfect for those who want to relax, enjoy a coffee, and have some fun. We sampled a variety of cakes and drinks during our visit. My wife ordered the White Chocolate Mocha, which was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness, while I enjoyed a refreshing Elderflower drink. The cakes were a highlight our favorites were the Pistachio Blonde, Carrot Cake, and Cinnamon Roll, each one deliciously fresh and flavorful. We also couldn’t resist trying the Red Velvet Halloween edition cake, which added a fun seasonal touch to the experience. Special mention goes to Natalie, who made our visit even better with her warm and helpful service. She was sweet, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a café to unwind with some tasty treats, a good cup of coffee, and a few games to pass the time, Noir 55 Coffee is a fantastic spot. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Best coffee shop located in Birmingham. Coffee tastes just amazing, big variety of drinks and great signature coffees. Desserts are not be missed, specially their Dubai Chocolate! Place is very neat, warm and cozy atmosphere.

A relaxing environment which provides a space for working or to chill with friends, with mini board games to play with. Convenient parking just outside the cafe. However, despite different pastries, all of them were sweet ones and there wasn’t any savoury food options, would be much preferable if savoury dishes are also offered.

Fitting name—love the lamb tagine here! The food is wholesome, and the atmosphere is inviting. Curtains over the booths add extra privacy, and the decor, along with dim lighting, creates the perfect vibe for a relaxed, comfortable date night.

Lovely place and great food! It was our first time at the Moroccan restaurant and we enjoyed every bit of it, starting with the moroccan tea, maakouda potato dumplings for starters, harira soup, vegan tajine and chicken kouftas. Highly recommended and we'll be back soon for more goodies 😀

Had to write a review on this place! I've visited twice and I must say it's my new favourite spot. Other places charge more for basic food but Habibis is VERY reasonably priced for delicious savouries, desserts and drinks. So far loved everything I've tried but the pistachio kunafah dream cake is a must if you're visiting and their fresh juices are so refreshing! Definitely better than the local spots such as ladana, chai green, chaiwala and chai haute. Can't wait to try other items from the menu!

This combo will make your day! I don’t mind the travel if I can get this. I got recommended once and the rest is history. The customer service was amazing from Tayyab and Ellah, they really know there desserts. Ask for them next time promise you won’t be disappointed

Here, my 2nd in the chain, I am sure there will be others. Market Harbough, Balsall Common. Love em. The cafe chain is very friendly, clean and easy to get to. Great for every one, young, high chair people, those in wheel chairs. Thanks to the staff for there very friendly and warm welcome, Steve.

We come here regularly and it's always a great experience. The coffee is great and I liked the variety of options for seating. All the staff are fantastic with my toddler, but a particular shout out to Anya and Anna who have always been so kind and welcoming. I only wish there was a slightly better choice of food, particularly for vegetarians.

I visit with my elderly father and we have received tremendous service every visit. Staff are proactive in their approach to us and deliver our order to the table. This is done with a smile from the staff and we get a cheery 'see you soon' as we leave, so we always go back!

Nice cafe attached to a very posh and upmarket Co-op shop, coffee and cakes are great but there does not seem to be any toilets but parking is free.
