I have been wanting to try this cafe for such a long time and I am so pleased to say I wasn't disappointed! The food was incredible, cannot wait to return to make my way down the menu 😊 Honourable mention for the truffle eggs benedict and white chocolate pistachio french toast.... 100000/10

There is something special about this British Caribbean fusion brunch spot. Take a look at the menu, especially the island brunch. The care that’s put into the food and drink preparation has to be commended. No 393 server me the best soy flat white I’ve ever had. Taking a look at the food pic’s expect the same treatment. The cafe feels swanky, there is a cocktail lounge vibe to the interior. The reggae music will chill your soul and allow you to appreciate life island style.

First visit today 19.12.24 11.30am and it won't be our last. We both opted for Bacon Breakfast sandwich with hash brown. Oh my goodness it was so good. So well presented. Gorgeous fresh bread well cooked bacon and a hash brown to die for. The atmosphere is chilled out and laid back. Just what we were looking for as we 2 girls were having a good old catch up. We were given complimentary cake as they were short staffed and they apologised as it had been a bit hectic. But I'll be honest we didn't see it as a problem. We just enjoyed our time there. More staff arrived and lunch time customers began arriving. Ive messaged my friends and told them they need to visit as they won't be disappointed. My new fave place.

The classic breakfast is really well done - amazing hash browns. Smashed Avo was fantastic - honey chilli sauce was a great touch. Price is on the high side, but the quality of the food justifies it. Always a small gripe with places of this size; the tables for two with decorations force a little surface rearranging - but the breakfast and staff certainly made up for it. Highly recommended - at the expected busy times, make sure you book ahead.

A deep and meaningful coffee. Google Maps, thank you for shining your satellite on The Rustic Cafe, when I was checking out nearby cafes. It's been ages since I visited Acocks Green. I have rose tinted memories of the area, especially Acocks Green Bowl that I used to frequent as a teenager. Back in the 90's a game of bowling was £1! good times. I digress. As I walked through the tail end of Storm Eunice, I impressed upon The Rustic Café. The beauty of its exterior was like a warm glow. I entered and the warmth was upped a notch thanks to the welcoming staff. I took a look around to appreciate the interior, a clash of colourful, lacquered, rustic tables hit by ceiling strung, modern jarred lighting. It's a cosy place. I took a look over the shoulder of the staff to see a La Cimbali espresso machine... A lovely piece of espresso technology. I explicitly requested their finest flat white with latte art. The staff responded with "I'll try my best". A response I love to hear. I don't care how much barista training you've had, if you put effort into latte art it indicates to me that you care about coffee. The coffee isn't artisanal, but it was a thing of beauty thanks to the colourful ergonomic mug. I began chatting to the staff member. It wasn't small talk, it was a chat about life that delved into human vulnerability. I learnt a lot as a consequence. And I wonder why I love popping into coffee shops. I will have to return. The staff are soon to have barista training. I can't wait to see what latte art they have mastered.

Cosy environment, warm staff and excellent food. Toasts are well toasted and perfectly matched with avocado. Chai Latte and flat white were amazing, definitely would come again!

I had a wonderful visit to Bloom today with my mum, auntie, and younger brother. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the lovely staff and promptly seated, which set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The atmosphere at Bloom is perfect – comfortable, laid-back seating that makes it an ideal spot for a family outing. Plus, we found parking conveniently right outside, which made the whole experience even easier. The menu offers a wide variety of tempting breakfast and lunch options, as well as an impressive selection of drinks. We ordered the Full English Breakfast, Classic French Toast, and English Breakfast Tea. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and just as delicious as we’d hoped. Every dish was perfectly cooked. Overall, we were all thoroughly impressed with the food and service. Bloom truly stands out as one of the best breakfast spots in Birmingham, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast or brunch experience. It’s definitely one of my top 3 spots in the city!

A great place, warm welcome, I enjoyed brunch, the service was excellent. The big bloom breakfast was flavoursome and light. Enjoyed the mango lassi and dessert. You must try the Coconut French Toast. Suhail and staff were great.Definitely recommend this place.

Even with the packed house, the staff remained attentive and quick to address requests. Our food arrived in under 20 minutes, which is no small feat given how busy it was. If I had to nitpick, it would be the noise level. It’s not the place for a quiet, intimate conversation, but honestly, the energy felt infectious rather than overwhelming. Overall, Bloom delivered on all fronts: delicious food, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a visit, whether it’s for a casual date or a meet-up with friends. Went here for the first time for brunch after recommendation. Was excellent. From moment we walked in to being sat down, even though it was heaving. Great service. Ordered at the counter and they were really pleasant. Brought our drinks over timely and breakfast came within minutes. Excellent presentation as well as taste. They asked if we were ok and everything fine with food. Nothing over the top, just the right level of service and attentive detail. Really impressed. Can see why this place is so busy and popular. Definitely will be returning. They have a mixture of breakfast and lunch dishes. Great selection of teas and coffees as well as a small range of smoothies and mocktails. Prices pretty reasonable. All round 5 stars!

Fantastic and polite service. Breakfast was great (I had the large with fried bread) and the Mocha for an extra 50p was banging I requested a take out milkshake after, Oreo and Biscoff, my regular at Five Guys which this little spot had never done before… It tastes just like Five Guys and it’s only £3.75!!! Will come here as much as I can now! 💙

We’d previously experienced The Kitchen catering for a friend’s birthday party so decided to ask them to cater for our son’s birthday party. From first contact via fb messenger Jo was easy to talk to and guided me through all the many options. The food was of amazing quality, freshly prepared, delicious and so much of it (we won’t go hungry this weekend!) All of our guests were impressed with the quality and the value of the food, we’ll definitely be back!

Wow! If you are looking for a buffet for a function, then look no further. We called in to arrange a buffet for 20 people, and Jo takes the time to sit down with you and go through all the options, so you get exactly what you want. The quality, quantity and presentation of the food is amazing, especially considering the price. We had too much to list, but as well as the usual buffet fayre, we had chicken goujons, indian selection, cold meats and cheeses, salad, dips and sticks, fruit and cake. Despite our best efforts, we had loads left over and are still eating it 2 days later! Highly recommended.

I am from Ukraine where the coffee drinking culture is very developed. Ukrainians know a lot about excellent coffee. I have been living in the UK for almost 3 years now and during this time I really missed the good taste of coffee, I tried coffee almost everywhere and in large chain cafes and restaurants but it was just disgusting. And finally I found that very real taste, real aroma, really tasty coffee. I am incredibly happy to come here almost every day. I want to separately say about the wonderful service and cleanliness. It's truly rare to find such high-quality Hong Kong-style pineapple buns in the UK. You can see that this shop puts care into making every item. The food quality is excellent, refined, and very delicious. Highly recommended.

I recently visited Black Orange Coffee and had a great experience. I ordered a latte, and the cup was quite large, which I appreciated. The latte art was beautifully done, and the taste was quite good. For the cake, I tried the salted caramel, and it was delicious – perfectly balanced in flavor. I also tasted my friend's crispy butter bun, and it was equally delicious. As for the cinnamon roll, while it was tasty, it wasn't quite to my personal liking. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean, cozy, and spacious. Overall, a great spot for coffee and treats!

What an amazing coffee shop. Located in the heart of AG. Long overdue. Definitely coming back to this coffee joint. Great customer service as well as being a fast one. I absolutely love this coffee shop! I grabbed a tea to take home while watching the Tyson Fury fight, and it was absolutely perfect. The tea was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Even though I didn’t stay to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, the friendly service really stood out. By the way, Tyson Fury should have won that fight! Highly recommend this place for quality drinks and great service!

We as a family visited La Venue for the first time yesterday. I must tell you what an amazing Chef(the owner) is! So down to earth! I loved Vegan hot chocolate❤️ My husband and kids enjoyed their drinks and meal! Perfect ambience for the family or any one who would want to enjoy perfect cuppa ☕️ with their loved ones👍

Had breakfast with my friend at Hallie’s, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious—everything cooked to perfection. The service was amazing, with staff who were friendly and attentive. The place was quite busy, which is a true testament to the quality of food and service they offer. I love Hallies so much!! After the first time I visited, I just couldn’t wait to go back! I had their breakfast bagel along with a chocolate cruffin & a vanilla oat latte. Hallies is the best spot to go to if you fancy something yummy and fresh. Their gorgeous cafe decor inspired me for my very own kitchen too.. as it’s so stylish and current. Me and friends are ecstatic to see the return of Hallies, so that we can arrange our future coffee dates. Thank you for bringing such a beautiful and successful cafe to Solihull!

If you feel you need cheering up or just a chat then Happy Heart is the place to go. They serve freshly made food and yummy cakes and snacks. It’s very relaxed and the staff very friendly and supportive. There is community feeling of inclusiveness about it. There is also usually a jigsaw on the go to enjoy. There are regular evening events to enjoy. It’s not super smart but it’s comfortable and welcoming.

First time at this lovely place. I can't speak too highly of it. Nicollette was a lovely host and the cafe had a great atmosphere although we were a little loud I fear! The food was gorgeous! Loved by all and lots of it too which is always a bonus.

We have visited this Cafe many times now and we absolutely love it- if you are in Knowle, you must visit this place. The staff here are so welcoming and attentive, and very engaging with our young children which is lovely to see, and its great to see genuine beaming smiles. The food is of excellent quality, comes out hot and full of flavour. The decor is modern, contemporary, comfortable and clean. Overall its a pleasurable experience everytime we dine here and we are already looking forward to our next visit after visiting only this morning. Thank you Paul and team. See you again very soon.

This gem was found on a trip back to Birmingham after moving to Melbourne Australia nearly 20 years ago. Fantastic friendly service, great atmosphere with the music choice, took the risk of having a Latte coffee which certainly didn’t disappoint when you’re use to the fantastic coffee you have in Melbourne, this was the best coffee I have had on my trip. The Breakfast was just amazing and the perfect combination of ingredients tasted so good! This is a definite place to return to when needing a coffee and breakfast

My first experience here was through delivery. I loved my meal! Finally, I found the time to walk over and to eat in person. My experience was even better. Delicious food, great staff, and a cozy space—you couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a must go to place for breakfast and brunch. My favorite is the green smoothie!! Delicious 🤤

Good choices of food. Mexican eggs and Egg Benedict were of a decent standard. Plenty of choices for drinks. Attentive table service (we were served by Mary) and overall clean environment. An improvement compared to our last visit a few years ago.

Nice atmosphere big windows feels spacious. Easy to order, decent choice menu and good quality food. Not too long a wait for food to arrive, nice drinks choice also. Iced tea was lovely! Coffee quite weak but nice enough. Hash browns great but have to pay for quite a lot of sauce to waste it for the size of them…! Quite expensive for the portion sizes but it’s nice and friendly.
