Such a cosy place. Authentic home cooked style food. You cannot beat the quality and taste! I haven't had such an amazing meal that was authentic like this in the UK. I will be visiting again with more guests. This is a real hidden Gem.

Cantonese cuisine and dim sum were awesome ! Hidden gem in this area , suggest booking via fb messenger. Must have fried noodles in Singapore style .

This place is amazing!! We went today for some lunch and were blown away! The food is delicious! You get free green tea with your order, which is a nice touch. We had a stir fry noodle dish, dumpling soup, and some bubble tea. The portions are big!!! We could have easily shared a dish between us! The inside is small and cute! Feels like eateries I have been in when I've visited Asia, which I felt was nice as some nostalgia there! Service is welcoming and friendly! Highly recommended!!

A lovely hidden gem. Lovely service. Small authentic place 🫶 Food very tasty and big portions! Bubble mango tea was to die for! We tried a few different dishes. All of which were big portions! Ended up bringing some home! We even brought a whole jar of their home made chilli oil 🌶to bring home 🤤 I would defo return.

First time visiting this cafe, despite walking past it a million times since it opened! And what a delight it is. A great selection of drinks and cakes on offer, and the service was wonderful. I ordered the milk cake which was suggested by the lady serving, as it is refrigerated and not on display. It was delicious, along with the hot chocolate. There’s attention to detail in the presentation of food and I will be back to taste the other dishes for sure.

A popular cafe on Bearwood High Street. Warm and welcoming staff that greet you with a 😊 smile no matter the time of the day. They appear to have regular customers given by the conversation they are having whilst ordering with the staff. For a small cafe they have a good range of cakes, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks to choose from. Lots of seating inside and a nice clean toilet. The sandwiches looked nice, will probably go back and have soon. I had a warm croissant with 🔥 chocolate with marshmallows. They were both delicious 😋. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing or like myself making a visit to the dentist. As the logo inside says Eat, Drink & Relax 😊

I visited here two weeks ago. Prior to coming, I messaged the cafe via instagram to find out if they catered for gluten free and diary intolerances (not the same person). To my delight they said they did and so decided to pay them a visit. When you step inside here, you cannot believe you are in bearwood. It has a lovely atmosphere. We were there for a friend’s catchup, but there was also a mother and child sat nearby and also couples. The cafe does not take bookings and so be prepared there may be a wait. We were fortunate enough to find a table. The cafe were very accommodating for me and my friend who is gluten free, and were great at suggesting substitutions. I ordered the sweetcorn fritters and asked for the cheese to be removed as I have a diary intolerance. They asked if I wanted more avocado instead and I declined, instead opted for more pomegranate. (I think there was already half an avocado on the dish anyway). I also ordered a side portion of turka beans. The food was generally yummy. The sweetcorn dish was really tasty. I was also looking forward to the turka beans, which didn’t go with my meal, but had them on the side and in fairness was a large sized portion. I didn’t really enjoy them though as they put hard crunchy chickpeas in throughout. I still ate them as the side dish was expensive, and just picked the chickpeas out and gave to my friend! The above lunch cost me over £20 hence the 4* rating. Food was nice, but feel the price was a bit steep for a small cafe in bearwood. Or has everything just gone mega expensive?!

LOVE this café! Myself and my partner moved to the area a year ago and have constantly come back to this café, we love it. We're both veggie and there's a fab range of veggie options which are all super tasty. Great savoury and sweet options, particularly love the pistachio pancakes and french toast. Staff are really lovely too and it's always a nice vibe.

A little Cousy gem! Wanted brunch like food on our way home, while looking for chai this little gem came up on my search 🔍 we went there and I got my chai but also got my vegan version of no bread burger, which is what exactly I wanted! Lovely presentation and flavourful food 🥘 🙏

First time here with my friend for her birthday brunch , was definitely Spoilt with an extra cake and a birthday tune thrown in .. friendly staff . Great service and food to die for .. dog friendly to , so will definitely return with our fury pups

There is something special about this British Caribbean fusion brunch spot. Take a look at the menu, especially the island brunch. The care that’s put into the food and drink preparation has to be commended. No 393 server me the best soy flat white I’ve ever had. Taking a look at the food pic’s expect the same treatment. The cafe feels swanky, there is a cocktail lounge vibe to the interior. The reggae music will chill your soul and allow you to appreciate life island style.

I have been wanting to try this cafe for such a long time and I am so pleased to say I wasn't disappointed! The food was incredible, cannot wait to return to make my way down the menu 😊 Honourable mention for the truffle eggs benedict and white chocolate pistachio french toast.... 100000/10

The classic breakfast is really well done - amazing hash browns. Smashed Avo was fantastic - honey chilli sauce was a great touch. Price is on the high side, but the quality of the food justifies it. Always a small gripe with places of this size; the tables for two with decorations force a little surface rearranging - but the breakfast and staff certainly made up for it. Highly recommended - at the expected busy times, make sure you book ahead.

It’s very beautiful and clean place , service is superb, and the is food quality and taste, you can tell with first bite used fresh vegetables, I wasn’t really hungry but still eat 3 nann , and charhi paneer was the best Highly recommend

If you are out for a walk in Warley Woods, or around the Bearwood area, you have to stop by the orange van to see the Happy Coffee Man. A big menu of drinks with absolutely superb coffee, delicious freshly baked cakes and pastries but most of all, friendly warm service. The staff are absolutely lovely and great to have a chat with. I visit every week with our mum's and babies walk group and they always serve everyone so quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

I love visiting the woods with the family, especially when the Happy Coffee Man is there too! Gorgeous selection of handmade cakes to compliment locally sourced coffees and hot drinks that are equally as wonderful. The service is always exceptional, out the back of a vintage van lovingly converted into a coffee shop on wheels. Not just novelty - the quality is consistently good, fairly priced and it’s a pleasure buying from a local small business. We’ve been many times and we will be back.

Love their Black forest hot chocolate its so tasty and the cakes are yummy! Also can get your dog a pupachino from the lovely owners.

This family run business is fantastic! They have become our first stop when exploring Warley woods, coffee for me and mom and a hot chocolate for your little lady. Of course there is always a great selection of treats to go with the bev and they always have different drinks available for different seasons. We love the happy coffee man. Fair prices, fantastic customer service and let's not forget how great the classic van is!

For those wanting something different, but tasty and fun! We had a mixture of different Vegan dishes: The empanadas had the perfect crispy texture. The patacones were fresh and unique. The tamales was hearty and comforting! Highly recommended for vegans!

Fantastic, first time trying Colombian food. Host was warm and welcoming. Food was great. They ran out of dessert but grabbed supplies to make just for me…wow. I never knew plaintain and cheese could go so well?

Super friendly welcome at this new coffee shop. A good range of coffee and light snacks are available and everything we tried today was excellent. Reasonably priced and something new to try this is a welcome addition to the Bearwood eating scene. 👍

Fantastic! I can't rate this little cafe highly enough! My friend and I just popped in for a coffee and were greeted with such friendly enthusiasm and generosity. Nothing was too much trouble, and the coffee, complimentary cream puffs and the polish soup was all to die for! Deliciously flavoursome and all served with a kind-hearted smile. Thank you! "Burgers Beer Coffee Cake" - the four basic food groups. The writing on the wall must date from a previous owner as it does not do justice to the extensive menu with both English as well as Polish dishes available. I arrived at what was very much coffee and cake time but a full Polish breakfast was provided. I've lived and worked in Poland and this was very much a ENG-POL fusion (Polish hotel breakfasts are typically of the disappointing continental cold buffet variety). The coffee was good (better than Coffee One, Kings Heath, yesterday) and the breakfast was better still. Value for money as well. The Polish soundtrack reminded me of happy times in Lower Silesia/Dolny Śląsk

A wonderful little café that serves tea and coffee as well as milkshakes and food ranging from cold sandwiches to cakes and confectionery. The atmosphere is very homely and you'll be well taken care of by the lovely manager. They also serve some delicious homemade Polish food for a heartier meal if you're hungry. Highly recommended!! Bring the kids!

I've been going to Paul's for a while now as the perfect spot to stop on a day browsing up and down Harborne high street. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, and even when it gets busy the team will do their best to let you know when seating will be available and offer to get in touch to let you know so you can continue shopping while you wait. The food is always amazing, there's a range of items on offer, all day brunch, great lunch options, sweet dishes and cakes, all to suit a range of appetites and dietary requirements. There's so many good options I've often had difficulty deciding and the team have been helpful in helping advise and adapting where possible. Would recommend Paul's to anyone visiting the area!

Stumbled upon this place whilst looking for a late breakfast in Harborne. The food was fantastic, homemade, and delightful. The staff were super friendly and passionate about everything. This is the epitome of hospitality. Can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Tomatoes were seasoned lovely, the homemade beans were so flavourful and not your typical out the can rubbish. Potato rosti perfectly seasoned, best breakfast Ive had in Birmingham! The perfect neighbourhood place. I don't live locally and was only stopped by for breakfast but it was really lovely. The food was great, the service was so friendly and it was amazing to be in a place run by people who love it. I wish I could come by more often. Modern setting with good ambience. Delicious food with impeccable service. We had delicious garlic and chilli wings with summer rolls that were light and refreshing. Then mains was a chicken coconut curry and a fragrant beef Phò. Both delicious and filling!! Finished off with a Carrot cake 😋 Definitely coming again.
