I have used this garage for fixing issues, MOTs and services and have always had a great experience. As somebody who knows very little about cars I find it concerning that I could be fooled into spending too much but here they always make the cheapest and best decisions and take the time to explain the issue without any patronisation. Many of my friends use this garage also so I would highly recommend it - the owner is a lovely guy.

Exactly the type of garage and people you want. I've been with Brookside for a few years now since Paul took over for my VW Golf, and only have good things to say. I have been to a few other garages around the area, but none are anywhere near as good. Paul runs an 'old-school' garage: Doesn't charge ridiculous amounts and will give you a realistic assessment of what is wrong with your car. He will give you a call to let you know what he is looking to do, fix it quickly and you will be back on the road. I recommend them to anyone I know!

Their price is fair and they treat their customers as family. Great place to carry out your mechanical work on your car because their cost is fair. They are very truthful, open and clear in their approach.

I brought in a Peugeot with electrical problems. I was given an honest assessment of it, and we tried one of the many possible solutions. This did not work, but I was given a really fair bill for the amount of diagnostic work, plus a refund for the part that was not necessary. Thank you so much.
