After being rescued by Green Flag when my clutch failed, they took my old Rover 75 to Guy Matthews Ltd—and I’m so glad they did. The team were brilliant from start to finish. They diagnosed the issue quickly, kept me in the loop, and had the clutch replaced in no time. They were friendly, professional, and clearly know their stuff. It’s never fun breaking down, but they made the whole experience a lot less stressful. I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable, honest service. Huge thanks to the team!

Have to agree with what people say about this gem of a garage. Booked it in on line for a mot took the car in left car whilst I went to the cafe down the road and an hour later got a phone call to say all was ready. Now I know you might read this and say so what but I know from past experience that something as simple as that is hard to achieve . So a big well done to the nicest mot I’ve had in many a year. Staff were polite and friendly and I’ll definitely be going back there next time. Nothing wrong with the car either which you wouldn’t get in others I’d care to mention.

I have always been very pleased with the service Guy and his team offer. I recently had some small jobs on my car at a reasonable price and they are always willing to check things over again if something isn't right, often at no cost. I find the staff friendly and willing to help out. I would recommend this local garage to anyone. I don't understand why people are often so happy to pay the exorbitant prices that the main dealers charge when there are excellent, well-priced local garages such as Guy Matthews of Chapel-en-le-Frith

First time I tried Guy Matthews Garage for a full service for my 11 reg Ford Focus. Explained I had slight gear issues, needed wheel alignment tracking etc. Staff were very friendly and took everything I said down. Didn't take too long too sort. When I got car back it felt fantastic! You could feel that everything was worked on with great care, everything felt like new! Brakes,gears,steering,air fresh etc. To top it off the price was great too! Probably the best service I've had from a garage, highly recommend!
