Well, went to the corner café Sunday morning for breakfast drove from Sheffield and come up on this little gem. The breakfast was the best I have ever had and I’m a fisherman and I source good breakfast places out, but this was no comparison to anyone other before mushrooms, plum tomatoes, and an egg cooked to perfection, and besides that the staff were absolutely fantastic. I would recommend this little gem to anyone that goes to This Cute village 10 out of 10. Hope to see you again thank you.

The menu looked simple but when the food arrived oh wow! It not only looked good but it tasted amazing. I could taste good quality . The seating was good. Met with a few friends for breakfast. A bit pricier but sometimes it's good to pay a bit more to eat nice and good quality food. I hope they serve fried eggs in future or otherwise I can't go with my children.

Been here a few times. Great place in town where the food has always been fantastic in my opinion. I would say the lunch menu options are slightly limited with not the greatest selection but across both breakfast or lunch there’s a lot of tasty food. Good vibe and design to the place with a quieter upstairs. Most importantly the service and staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Thanks

Highly recommend for brunch/lunch. Had the goats cheese, beets and poached egg on sourdough. Daughter had the special sandwich of the day. Both fresh ingredients and very flavoursome. Yum. Nice choice not too overwhelming and great selection of hot and cold drinks. (Coffees and speciality teas etc) Beautiful cakes and brownies. We had the chocolate orange and pistachio.

Consistently first class service, food and drinks. A huge range of tea, which is served in a proper pot! Always served promptly and hot, even when busy. There’s a lovely friendly lady who must be the manager. She is on always the ball and accommodating.

Delicious flat white and very friendly staff. I think it’s the best coffee you can find in Holmfirth. I have also tried the cakes which are very good. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Called here for breakfast and the place was very busy, with seating inside and out. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. I had cheese on toasted sourdough, which was fine. I would have preferred regular bread a sourdough gets quite hard when it's toasted but otherwise it was good.

£20 for lge latte and dirty chai latte, carrot cake and cinnamon bun!! There was nothing on the menu or the board about charging 60p for a large ( frankly this was more a small cup), plus nothing also stated that there is a charge for oat milk!!

A delightful little cafe famous for its appearance in the classic comedy.. Last of the summer wine.. Many references to the series and the cast are on the walls inside and I loved looking around the café as we sat and had a coffee.. Seats are available inside and out but are very limited so it may be difficult to get when it's busy so please be aware that there is a seating area around the back of the cafe also .. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming So we very much enjoyed our visit

A visit to Sid's Cafe here in lovely Holmfirth is an absolute must for all fans of the BBC TV longest running sitcom, 'Last of the Summer Wine.' I had a nice cup of tea, bought some super TV 'Summer Wine' character postcards and soaked up the rather special atmosphere of this very unique place! Nice, friendly staff and a very interesting and memorable picture and photographs display from this classic TV show. Thank-you. Loved it! Not to be missed! 🙂

I love it ❤️ An absolute legend of TV history. With the sun beaming and smiling from everyone, it was great. The little courtyard was a joy. Parking around the centre of Holmfirth is sparce, so you have to be quick to find one and possibly pay for a while longer as there is loads to see and explore. We will be back to Holmfirth... ❤️

Had to revert to a breakfast visit this time to fit in with the structure of my long distance cycle ride on the day. A darn good job as I might have missed out on the delicious cumberland sausage baguette the wonderful people of Beatties cooked up this morning, which I was more than ready for after 3 hours of non stop pedalling from Sheffield. A difficult decision for some when it sits only 5 metres apart from Sid & Ivy's but the menu here has far more to pick from and staff that welcome you like they've known you all their life.

We have been here dozens of times. The owners and staff are absolutely fantastic and a credit to the business. The food is incredible, I've never had anything there that was not top quality but the new York deli takes some beating! Thanks a lot and see you soon

Please, if u wish a quite and lovely place for a cup of filter coffee either a tea go to visit them. They got such a delicious menu, I had carrot cake.. I'm Italian and was a long time I didn't eat a slice of cake like the one they got. Thank u so much hope to visit you again when I back in uk

A lovely quaint little coffee shop in the centre of Holmfirth. It was relatively busy but we found a quiet table at the back. It is waitress service. We both ordered paninis and sparkling water. There was plenty of choice on the menu and specials displayed on the wall. The food was presented well and tasted beautiful although portion size was on the small side. The side salad was tiny. Prices were reasonable. The lady who served us was friendly and helpful. There is an accessible, clean and well presented restroom. I would visit again.

One of my favourite spots in Huddersfield. Arcade has nailed the art of great coffee and even better food. Everything they put out is made with care and attention to detail - the coffee and food looks and tastes incredible. Highly recommend!

Amazing food in a reasonable price. I've tried already the bolster moor breakfast and the smoked salmon. Both are amazing! The order in the photo costs £29. Nice view and atmosphere. The only downside is that it can get quite busy sometimes.

Love stopping by here, normally for breakfast, when up in the area. Service is great, price reasonable & food fantastic. The picture is my breakfast of a bacon roll & tea for one (3 cups of tea!!). Plus we then pop into the farm shop for excellent produce, much of it local.

Absolutely lovely cafe and the fact that it is car themed makes it even more unique! You get to have lovely food with a classic car showroom before or after your meal. The service was great, the food tasty and portion size reasonable. I had the stacked breakfast and this was to die for with the crispiest hash browns ever tasted. I loved it and will be back again. P.S. if you have a sweet tooth try their milkshakes. I highly recommend

First time visiting the new venue. Not disappointed at all. Had some very tasty food, and stroll round the vintage cars and bikes.

We were out on our regular Sunday drive and decided to go here. We like to go to places never been to before and what a very pleasant surprise! So much nostalgia and memories of days gone by in the motoring world. Lots and lots of items and cars on display. Great, prompt and friendly service. Great selection of cakes - delicious! The menu looks great too. Not just the ordinary old menu. Something different and interesting. If we're passing this way again we will definitely visit again.

Lovely breakfast this morning nicely cooked and hot. Great service seated quickly and order taken by fantastic waiting staff. Coffee brought quick and decent cuppa. Not the cheapest but I had just half an hour before my train and this quirky place met all requirements. Nice venue in the basement of a church with open kitchen and separate drinks area.
