Just enjoyed another fantastic meal, Hunters Chicken and my daughter had the Goat's Cheese Tart. Both delicious...A very friendly greeting, good service, good atmosphere. Highly recommend The Brown Trout.
Great pub just down the road from some delightful attractions (Scotney Castle, Abbey Ruins, Vineyard). Cosy and good service.
Had my birthday meal with 11 family members.. the pub was lovely and cosy, the staff warm and welcoming and all of our food was delicious! Plenty of options on the menu and very reasonably priced. We were all happy and said how we will definitely be visiting again.
Made to feel very welcome. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food arrived hot, it's a bug bear of mine that food can be served tepid, not today, the food was hot and well cooked, portion size was just right, all in all very enjoyable.
We went here for Sunday lunch two weeks ago. I believe this pub is under new management. The food was delicious, and the service was great. The pub has more room from a slightly different layout, which was a good decision. The only issue was that there was no alternative menu to the roast. My father in law loved this pub when he was alive, and I recommend if you're passing through kent.
