Fantastic food the roast was amazing, we had the duo roast great for those that cannot decide what to go for. Such good service, very friendly staff and very welcoming. Will definitely return again soon. đ
Sunday roast lunch is a stalwart of British cuisine. It can be a a marvellous dish or it can be cardboard. Here at The Nest we were treated to a marvellous dish. Excellent and attentive service and a great pint of Flowerpots ale for me and white wine (donât ask me questions about the wine - Iâm more focused on âis the beer goodâ) for my wife. Warm, comfortable and welcoming itâs a somewhat different layout to the bare wood furniture that we seen in most country pubs in the county. But we must remember that this establishment marks itself as a boutique hotel and restaurant and it certainly meets its remit perfectly. Try it you wonât be disappointed.
Lovely evening, food was local and fresh and the welcome and service were second to none. The facilities were beautifully clean and well appointed. Definitely will visit again.
Lovely pub nestled in a pretty village, travelled from the South to eat here. Brought all the family from Norwich and had high hopes for a lovely meal. It didnât fail us, all 8 plates were demolished. Only one small moan but not enough to never go back, was that the family all wanted the Sunday duo and they didnât have enough. Only one of 8 of us managed to have it.
We took refuge at The Nest at the end of a long day walking on the South Downs Way. We arrived quite late but they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely. Our stay was short but sweet and very welcome!
