Fantastic spot for a morning coffee! We visited on a Saturday morning, easy parking outside and dogs are welcome. Great selection of drinks, cakes and breakfast options. Cater for gluten and dairy free - vegan blackcurrant crumble was delicious! They also do gelato which we will be back to try.

A tastefully converted historic booking hall, repurposing much of the original features, Platform One is a popular coffee shop/cafe with freshly prepared, delicious food, coffees, and, of course, a good range of high quality ice creams. Sophia Lauren features in the history of the building too. Honest!

We stopped by Platform One Coffeehouse and Gelato on a walk from Winchester. It was a very warm and welcoming little cafe, which has breathed new life into Shawford station. The welcome and service was very friendly and efficient, and the team genuinely seemed pleased to be there. It was all very reasonably priced too, which was a nice surprise considering the quality. We sampled a Chocolate Truffle and a Salted Caramel Brownie, both off which were mouth-wateringly good! There was a small inside area with some comfy tables and chairs, as well as a nice terrace too. It’s lovely to have somewhere to go in Shawford that is independent and not a big chain. I’ll certainly be back again to try their amazing looking Gelato.

🗓️ I came here for the first time in the morning on 30th January for breakfast and was working on my laptop at the cafe till the afternoon ☀️ The team members were attentive and prompt with my order. They were polite and greeted me nicely and made my order with zero mistakes 💯 I enjoyed the tomato, mozzarella, and pesto panini; super dark brownie; earl grey tea; and a mini chocolate 🥪 🫖 🍫 🍽️ I came again on 1st Feb to redeem my free pina colada voucher and it was delicious 🤤 🍍 🥥 As I visited several times again, I took my time and tried the mushroom & cheese toastie, pecan pie, scone with clotted cream & jam, etc. All the items tasted really good. Though the place was short staffed, I was happy to see that all the orders kept coming on time. The only thing that I wasn't very happy with was the price of the mini chocolate. I feel like it shouldn't cost more than 10 p considering the very tiny size (smaller than my thumb 😂). I'd also recommend having charging points and WiFi at the cafe 🔌 📱 Nevertheless, if I focus on the food and service, I'd definitely say I had a very good experience and would love to visit again 😍 The community in the area is also very kind and polite making outsiders feel at ease 🫶 I'd surely recommend this place to whoever visits or lives in Eastleigh 🤩

This is one of if not my favourite chain coffee shops. Unlike Starbucks, Costa and Nero I find the food here tastes good and not all similar like the others. The sandwiches for me are a particular highlight, always delicious. As for the coffees I would say it's comparable with other chains and a lot of that is preference based so my rating is mostly on the foot quality in comparison to leading chains.

Great place for breakfast. The place is nicely set out and the chairs are comfortable, especially the booths. We had the Full English breakfast and it was really worth the price. Will definitely be back again. Would still like to try their Thick Shakes as they look delicious.

I recently booked this venue for my partner’s 30th birthday, and it was amazing! This is one of our favourite spots to enjoy coffee together, so it felt like the perfect place to celebrate the occasion. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely incredible. Frankie and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. We had an outside caterer for the food, but the staff took charge of organising and presenting it perfectly, making sure everything was on time, and making sure all of our guests, including those with allergies, were well taken care of. The atmosphere was fantastic- full of energy, warm, welcoming and it didn’t feel rushed or stressful. I kept checking in throughout the evening, but Frankie was absolutely wonderful in reassuring me that everything was under control and telling me that I should enjoy the celebration without a worry, which is what I did. Our guests had a wonderful time, and I’ve received nothing but positive feedback about the venue, the staff and the overall experience. I would highly recommend this place for any event - you won’t be disappointed. A huge thank you to Frankie and the team for making my partner’s birthday so special!

We booked the Yard for a private party on Saturday evening. The location is fantastic, the staff were efficient, attentive, and friendly, and we had a great evening. Thoroughly recommend it!

Lovely Coffee Shop one of the guys in our cycle club guided us to, after seeing good things about, so we gave it a go........it's in a very remote location but has lovely decor and a very bijoux feel about it. Staff were very upbeat and were serving quickly and efficiently. There is a large selection of coffee, cake and hot food on offer with the coffee beans baked on site called Moon Coffee which is also sold here. The "yard" area is very spacious with lovely seating around as well as outdoor heaters for the colder mornings or evenings. They are doggie friendly as saw a few on our visit and welcomed cyclists to with two very large bike racks to use.........will definitely visit again if we are out this way again!!

Wanted the roast but you have to order so had the all day breakfast instead. It's called the Ninja. It was absolutely lovely, hot and massive. Very impressed and we will be returning.👍

I had never eaten here before but I had a few hours to Kill in the Town so looked up the best rated breakfast locations in Eastleigh and I was not disappointed. Great food and service in a feel good traditional cafe. 🌟

Breakfast visit today. Two meals which were excellent, poached eggs on toast, and the standard breakfast. Both meals served hot, and on hot plates. Service was as good as on our previous visit. Consistent quality of service I now believe this deserves 5 Stars. Previous visit Mid morning coffee and tea cakes. Not as busy as usual on this visit. Very clean. Service and staff excellent. Extensive menu including one for children.

We visited for brunch today and were not disappointed! The poached eggs were nothing short of exceptional, and the bacon was outstanding. We had the full English and avocado, egg and bacon on toast dishes. The sourdough bread was also a joy. Staff were friendly, and the weather was nice, which gave us the chance to sit outside in the garden. Highly recommended, and we will be back!

We stumbled across this little gem looking for somewhere to have some afternoon tea and cake. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome, we ordered a BLT sandwich for me and some caramel shortbread each with tea. It was lovely sitting out in the sunshine! My BLT was really tasty, and seemed to be freshly made, and came with a really generous portion of seasoned fries and salad. I finished it all, including the caramel shortbread! It was a perfect ending to our afternoon out together!

Booked a baby shower brunch at this lovely café - Ziggy and the team were amazing! They set up decorations for us, provided complementary non-alcoholic drinks, and were just generally so helpful and friendly. Ziggy even bought a gift for the mother-to-be. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in booking a similar event :)

We went for Breakfast. A full English & the vegan option (no vegetarian) The food was vey tasty! Unfortunately the egg was hard. This was my only gripe. Could maybe have added another slice of toast as it was only a small slice of sourdough. The only other issue which seems to be quite common is the vegan breakfast is always more expensive. £32 for breakfast and 2 coffees. Glad I tried it but unfortunately wont be returning. Good Luck.

A really lovely coffee shop, cafe and larder. They sell all manner of sweets and treats, cakes and bakes. There’s also a coffee shop and cafe with comfy seating. We stopped by today for coffee and cake - the cinnamon bun with pistachio was really good and they have great vegan options too. Friendly helpful staff and the savoury options - soup, jacket potatoes and so on - looked delicious. Very nice!

A super spot! We got a takeaway from here to eat at the airport - two salads, two sandwiches, some crisps and a few cakes. There was a great selection to choose from and the lady serving us was very friendly and helpful. The food was made quickly and was absolutely delicious - quickly devoured and so much nicer than the food on offer at the airport. Thank you!

Friendly local cafe with loads of food and drink options to eat in or take away. We only had sweet things - the cinnamon buns were great, especially the custard type one. Lots of vegan cakes as well. The coffee was tasty too. Super helpful and friendly staff.

I love this local independent coffee shop. We were given a bottle of South African wine as a gift, after my husband and his sister and brother in law had breakfast. No complaints with the food, in fact the fresh orange juice is fantastic. We don't drink SA wine so we asked for an exchange, they needed the original purchaser there for the exchange ( she's returned to Scotland so impossible). I suppose because I used to work for Mark's and Spencer, we exchanged items all the time. Just disappointed.
