A great place for a Sunday Roast! It was my first time in Romsey, and I didn't know where to have lunch. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this place, and the food was delicious, and the service was excellent and quick. We didn't have a booking, but they quickly set up a table for us. I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Old House at Home in Romsey, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The rustic charm of the place, combined with its modern touches, made for a perfect setting. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each more tempting than the last. I opted for the roast lamb, which was cooked to perfection – tender, flavourful, and accompanied by the most delicious gravy. My partner chose the fish and chips, and it was hands down the best we’ve ever had. The portions were generous, and the presentation was top-notch. What truly set this place apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They even took the time to chat with us about the history of the pub, which added a lovely personal touch to our visit. To top it all off, the dessert menu was a dream. We shared a sticky toffee pudding that was simply divine – the perfect end to a fantastic meal. If you’re in Romsey and looking for a place with great food, wonderful service, and a charming atmosphere, look no further than The Old House at Home. We’ll definitely be back!

A real homely feel to this venue. As soon as we walked in, the staff felt super friendly and attentive. Always popping to our table to make sure everything was good and our drinks were topped up. The food was top tier, some of the best that we've had. Camembert and sourdough was sensational. The ham, egg and chips felt next level, and the chicken dish was out of this world. The melt in the middle chocolate pudding was also one of the best we've ever had. If you're looking for a place in Romsey, come here!!
