Excellent museum. Presents a superb history of army flying over the last 100 years. The helicopter and aicraft collection is impressive. Ticket is valid for one year. Great cafe, lovely local area, easy parking.

Fantastic collection showing the history of flight in the army. There is an interesting video at the start and informative details as you walk through the museum from kites to the latest helicopter. A small cafe on the first floor serves delicious panini and soup as well as burgers. There are views over the airfield where helicopters can be seen in flight.

Lovely cafe, lots of aircraft and information and good amount for the children to do. Always puzzles around and free trials you can earn a sticker for doing. Ticket includes entry for the year so very worth it. Views of the helicopters on the airfield are amazing although some days you will see loads and others none flying so bit of pot luck!

Great place with very good service and yummy food. They work very well and they are very clean. Good prices also.

I recently visited this Cafe and had the pleasure of trying their hog roast baguette and breakfast. The hog roast baguette was absolutely divine. Served warm with apple sauce and stuffing. And the breakfast was everything you'd hope for and more. It arrived beautiful arranged on a hot plate. The hot plate, the welcoming staff and the quality of each dish make it top choice for anyone. Highly recommended

Arrived on a busy half term Friday for my daughter’s Birthday breakfast. Team really accommodating as we were a table of 6, nothing too much trouble. Amazing Pancake Stacks, Eggs Royals & iced coffee’s…. What a great place. Thank you

A really beautiful national trust. The house was interesting to walk through and they had lot of information in each room which we love. The gardens were particularly stunning and it was a treat to wander our way through. The cafes were ok. The stable cafe was very busy and very slow so the line was extremely long. We went to the kitchen cafe and they were even slower. It was an interesting idea to put it in the kitchens. The bookshop was ok, but other National Trusts have a wider selection.

Went to visit the house decorated for Christmas.The theme this year was the Nutcracker.The room displays were amazing there had been so much hard work in the displays the attention to detail was amazing. The theme spilled out into the grounds .There was a trail around the grounds for all to enjoy but really aimed at the younger visitors with activities to enjoy along the trail. The flower garden had themed arch garlands for the perfect Christmasy photo opportunities. The grounds are lovely to walk around with a walk up along the river to the boat house. There are a few places to get drinks and food .The staff are really friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful time definitely would recommend a visit any time of the year but Christmas is such a special time to visit.

Beautiful site. One of my favourite national trust sites I've visited so far. A lovely lady in the 2nd hand book shop went out of her way to find some books for me she knew were in the store room.

Lovely place to go for a long walk around, very clear streams and rivers. You can also go look around the rooms of Mottisfont Abbey. Enjoyed our day out here and the sun was shinning which was a bonus!

We love this little café! We walk up the hill from QE Park with our dog regularly and the views from the top are spectacular. The café is a wonderful reward when you get to the top! Friendly staff, very generous sausage baps. A surprisingly good range of food and snacks for such a remote location. Free doggy biscuits and water bowls available. We just love coming here for a treat.

We had delicious food and drink at the Butser Roundhouse Cafe today. I’d highly recommend their coffee and toasties! Great service and a very much appreciated wc. A lovely little cafe, in a beautiful spot and definitely worth the climb!

Dog friendly! Beautiful walk up and around Butser hill and the roundhouse is open Thursday to Sunday for hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, ice- creams, shakes, snacks, cakes, toasties and breakfast rolls. The best coffee! Dogs can have a puppachino for £1 and there's a water bowl. A friendly, family run business and a welcome pit stop on our walks :) the toilet is open until around 4pm and there are picnic benches. There are several routes up Butser hill from various locations but if you fancy just a walk around the top and the views, there is a road that goes up there from the A3, just past the Hampshire hog but be aware that there are pedestrians, horses and cyclists that use the same road. There is car park with a path that leads to the roundhouse. The car park isn't free but you can pay by card when you leave and it's only a short walk from there to the top.

What a wonderful gem of a cafe! Right at the top of Butser Hill, it's popular with hikers, cyclists, and dog walkers, and of course people who want to drive up and use the large car park to do some walking and take in the amazing 360 degree views from the top. The cafe is currently open thur to sun 9am - 4pm, and serves hot and cold drinks, ice creams cakes, all day breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, burgers, and probably many more things too! There are proper toilets available, and there are even dog treats too! The staff are very friendly and it's a great place for a well-earned refreshment. There are lots of picnic tables and benches spread out. I went on a dry, sunny, clear day, I'm not sure it would be as much fun on a rainy day!

I had breakfast at the farm shop with some friends this morning, and it was such a delightful experience! The place was buzzing with energy, creating a lovely atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable. The service was spot-on—friendly and efficient, which is always a plus. Now, let’s talk about the food: it was fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed to start the day. After breakfast, we explored the farm shop, which was charming and stocked with local goodies. We even wrapped up our visit with a fun gin tasting in their spirits room, which was a highlight! Overall, it was a wonderful morning, and I can't recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I can't wait to share this gem with more friends.

Food at the restaurant was amazing! Service was great, nice and friendly. The food in the shop is overpriced for what it is. Considering it's high-end, you'd expect the products to reflect that. Lots of their products are "ultra processed" - read the labels and you'll see. Shame to see high end products with chemicals in them.

We did the wonderfully Knife skills course. Sarah was a great teacher supported by the brilliant team of Sergio and Katie. We got the chance to practise knife skills on lots of different vegetables and fruits as well as some meat as well as getting lots of really helpful shortcuts and tips . As you prepare 4 dishes ( including a desert ) for 2 people and only eat one of them for lunch you are guaranteed to leave with lots of delicious meals. The knowledge I gained is kitchen life changing. Well worth the money.

We visited here today for lunch and it was so lovely. We used to have a caravan on a site close by and haven’t been back for serval years. Last time we were here it was an order at the bar, crab sandwich situation. It’s now a table service eating spot with super friendly and helpful staff with the perfect food for a beach walk pit stop. The interior is warm, pretty and comfortable and possibly the best loos around! My fussy eater 10 year old was in heaven with his bacon bap , so much bacon! and the bucket of chips is a perfect share for 4. Can’t wait to visit again to try some of the bigger dishes. It’s also dog friendly , which was a great bonus. Well done everyone in making our visit a great time .
