Probably one of the best double espressos I ve ever had. Great customer service and the flapjack was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend any coffee lover?

After a walk on the beach with the dog, it’s the best place to relax and enjoy the best coffee. I had a latte with Nicaragua + Brazil blend and almond milk and it was absolutely extraordinary. My daughter had a chocomilk (ideal for children) with the most delicious blueberry muffin. The dog had a great time too!

The best coffee in the northern hemisphere!!! We came here three days in a row. The coffee and service were incredible every time. As New Zealanders we have really missed great coffee and Oslar truly delivers. Highly highly recommend.

We’d have visited every day had we had the time to. Went here twice, Jay is fantastic, informative, passionate about coffee 👍🏻😃 chirpy and we felt very welcome and at home. It’s a wonderful place, with the most extensive selection of DELICIOUS COFFEES, loved the house special, butour favourite was the Ethiopian 🇪🇹 roast , OMG . Also lots of beautiful homemade bakes, especially Apple Cake and the Almond and Chocolate Cake, great pastries, we had the spinach and feta also a classic sausage roll on our first visit. Cakes galore on the second 😉😋😍 We will be back Jay, don’t know how soon, but if we’re anywhere close we will be dropping by for sure. FANTASTIC INDEPENDENT COFFEE SHOP.

This is my favourite hang out spot now & hands down the best coffee in Hampshire. The staff are masters of coffee in the day & cocktail experts in the evenings. They are all extremely kind, welcoming & Southampton is very lucky to have them here. The food is also brilliant & I'm slowly making my way through the menu!

I recently decided to try Good Things. It was a Saturday, sun pouring through the window, a gentle southerly breeze, we were seated by the entrance and the staff were welcoming but it was not all good (🥁) sadly. We were offered water for the table which never arrived and our food took a while to arrive but we think it was due to a shortage of baguette rolls for the bahn mi sandwiches we ordered. I just wish we had been warned about a wait! I had the tofu bahn mi which looked impressive, but the tofu itself was quite bland under the katsu breading. The rolls also made eating the sandwich quite a challenge, so I'd probably prefer a less crusty roll. All in all, there are good things to be had at good things, but there is always room for improvement. Of course, this post is written with good humour in mind.

My fiancee and I had our engagement party here in their downstairs area and we absolutely loved it. The place looks incredible, the staff are super friendly and hard-working, their sound system is awesome, the cocktails are excellent... honestly, I genuinely cannot put into words how great this was. We've also been for food and coffee during the day before and it was absolutely delicious. You can tell that they put a lot of thought and effort into everything they do. And even though we live a little far out, we will definitely be back. No wonder so many people have been recommending it. They are smashing it!

Just visited for the first time and have to say the staff were welcoming, breakfast was well portioned and priced 😋 all set in a lovely atmosphere with the added bonus of a bunch of classic cars to peruse. Highly recommended and dog friendly 🐶 😁 Thankyou . Jonny.

We are very pleased we found this cafe! We've no negatives to say. Great service, friendly staff, good atmosphere and lovely food and we consider the prices to be great value. This is our favourite Saturday morning treat without hesitation. I'd probably go every day if work didn't get in the way! Roll on Saturdays!

Aga and her husband are such amazing hosts. Service with a difference and so unique I love these amazing finds. I went there with a friend for lunch and coffee and looking forward to going back to try out the wine and cheeseboards. A must visit guys you won’t be disappointed.

I was there for the first time today. We bought a house nearby and I decided to look around the area. I had a vegetarian breakfast which was amazing and very fresh. I didn't notice that you can only pay in cash, but the lady behind the counter said I could withdraw cash from a nearby ATM and pay later. I was surprised by the warmth and trust. There aren't many places like that anymore.

Reuniting with friends after a long time calls for good food, great coffee, and a cozy spot—and Sisters delivered on all fronts! The prices were as amazing as the food, making it the perfect place to sit, chat, and indulge without breaking the bank. We fueled our catch-up session with iced mochas (because caffeine and chocolate are the dream team), a chicken, bacon & avocado sandwich (a trio of flavors that never fails), and the potato & chorizo hash, which was hearty, flavorful, and oh-so-satisfying. But the real showstopper? The hot chocolate fudge cake—pure, fudgy perfection that made every bite feel like a hug in dessert form. Great company, delicious food, and a café that felt like a hidden gem—definitely a spot worth revisiting!

A lovely restaurant/cafe with really great selection of breakfast and brunch food. I really liked my eggs Benedict, clearly freshly made. The coffee was also decent. The interior is cosy and a good venue for a catch up.

An amazing late Sunday lunch. The food was so flavoursome, and every aspect was beautifully cooked. We’ll definitely be back again.

We did the wonderfully Knife skills course. Sarah was a great teacher supported by the brilliant team of Sergio and Katie. We got the chance to practise knife skills on lots of different vegetables and fruits as well as some meat as well as getting lots of really helpful shortcuts and tips . As you prepare 4 dishes ( including a desert ) for 2 people and only eat one of them for lunch you are guaranteed to leave with lots of delicious meals. The knowledge I gained is kitchen life changing. Well worth the money.

I had breakfast at the farm shop with some friends this morning, and it was such a delightful experience! The place was buzzing with energy, creating a lovely atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable. The service was spot-on—friendly and efficient, which is always a plus. Now, let’s talk about the food: it was fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed to start the day. After breakfast, we explored the farm shop, which was charming and stocked with local goodies. We even wrapped up our visit with a fun gin tasting in their spirits room, which was a highlight! Overall, it was a wonderful morning, and I can't recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I can't wait to share this gem with more friends.

Food at the restaurant was amazing! Service was great, nice and friendly. The food in the shop is overpriced for what it is. Considering it's high-end, you'd expect the products to reflect that. Lots of their products are "ultra processed" - read the labels and you'll see. Shame to see high end products with chemicals in them.

The Forage is always an amazing choice for food. The staff are always attentive and the food is incredible! Would definitely recommend!

Easy place, perfect for families. Super fast and friendly service. Nothing to wrong about their food other they it needed more salt for us, but I suppose that s the healthy way forward. Clean spacious and close to the main car park.

We’ve visited The Forage twice in our week stay in the new forest — once on a quiet day and again on a busy Saturday — and both experiences were excellent. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in and served quickly both times, regardless of how busy it was. The food was spot on — fresh, delicious, and arrived fast. It’s clear they maintain great service no matter the crowd. We’ll definitely be returning in the future! 5*

Dog friendly! Beautiful walk up and around Butser hill and the roundhouse is open Thursday to Sunday for hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, ice- creams, shakes, snacks, cakes, toasties and breakfast rolls. The best coffee! Dogs can have a puppachino for £1 and there's a water bowl. A friendly, family run business and a welcome pit stop on our walks :) the toilet is open until around 4pm and there are picnic benches. There are several routes up Butser hill from various locations but if you fancy just a walk around the top and the views, there is a road that goes up there from the A3, just past the Hampshire hog but be aware that there are pedestrians, horses and cyclists that use the same road. There is car park with a path that leads to the roundhouse. The car park isn't free but you can pay by card when you leave and it's only a short walk from there to the top.

What a wonderful gem of a cafe! Right at the top of Butser Hill, it's popular with hikers, cyclists, and dog walkers, and of course people who want to drive up and use the large car park to do some walking and take in the amazing 360 degree views from the top. The cafe is currently open thur to sun 9am - 4pm, and serves hot and cold drinks, ice creams cakes, all day breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, burgers, and probably many more things too! There are proper toilets available, and there are even dog treats too! The staff are very friendly and it's a great place for a well-earned refreshment. There are lots of picnic tables and benches spread out. I went on a dry, sunny, clear day, I'm not sure it would be as much fun on a rainy day!

We love this little café! We walk up the hill from QE Park with our dog regularly and the views from the top are spectacular. The café is a wonderful reward when you get to the top! Friendly staff, very generous sausage baps. A surprisingly good range of food and snacks for such a remote location. Free doggy biscuits and water bowls available. We just love coming here for a treat.

Great, helpful and friendly staff. Good coffee, cake and bagels toasties. They are dog friendly, also selling cold drinks and ice cream. Good range of food on the menu at reasonable prices. Disabled parking available. Does get very busy, but if you don't mind waiting the views are also worth it.

Lovely cafe, lots of aircraft and information and good amount for the children to do. Always puzzles around and free trials you can earn a sticker for doing. Ticket includes entry for the year so very worth it. Views of the helicopters on the airfield are amazing although some days you will see loads and others none flying so bit of pot luck!

One of our favourite places to go, filled with planes, helicopters and trails for the kids to do. Not a massive space, with 2-4 hours of exploration, but the functional helicopter with the controls still connected to the rotors is always a favourite. The cafe overlooking the active airfield is a great spot to have lunch in and watch the planes coming in or helicopters practicing maneuvers.

Excellent museum. Presents a superb history of army flying over the last 100 years. The helicopter and aicraft collection is impressive. Ticket is valid for one year. Great cafe, lovely local area, easy parking.
