Really lovely place to get breakfast, great that it's open so early! The staff are super friendly and service is quick.

First visit to this very fine establishment. Was very busy, prepare to wait for a table. Does have an outside seating area (heated) to help with the busyness. Food was first class. Old school cafe, with a very comprehensive varied menu. Excellent value. Excellent ingredients and everything cooked to perfection - sausages totally browned without being overdone, eggs cooked fully but still runny. It really was a delight. Coffees and teas in three sizes. Orange juice available in pints. I’d travel to go here again

What a find, this place delivered 100%. Great food (proper sausages and a lot of choices), portion sizes were amazing, prices were very reasonable, and the staff were so welcoming.

This is a MUST visit cafe when on Hayling Island. We called for a reservation for lunch as we had heard lots about this place and wanted to make sure we got in. The location is right on the marina and is AMAZING. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like family, and the food is DELICIOUS. It's served with so much presentation and love, and tastes FABULOUS. I can not recommend this cafe enough. We had heard so much about it and they DIDN'T let us down. Thank you for a truly amazing experience.

We randomly found this cafe when searching for lunch. Staff were so lovely, interior was warm and cosy. The food was so tasty! We would definitely come back :) I would advise to book in advance as it was full

Lovely cosy atmosphere with a funky twist. Friendly and funny staff. Cake and sweet treats were 10/10. Delicious looking food menu but we just had sweet treats and tea.

Delicious (vegan) breakfast at Salt Shack. It was a lovely sunny day to look out across the water but they have plenty of blankets and heaters if it's chilly. Fuss was freshly cooked, coffee was really good and lovely service. Book a table is you want a front row table. Glad we found this place, can't recommend it enough.

A lovely, surprisingly roomy cafe with a choice of normal tables, or a cosy nook with sofas. Clean and well-organised.

Had my son’s birthday party here on Saturday and not only the children but also the parents had an amazing time! The place is great and the staff helped with organising, tidying and cutting and putting the cake in individual boxes for each guest. They were very friendly, accommodating and helped us with any requests. Great communication throughout and Excellent service! Definitely recommend. 🤩

We did the wonderfully Knife skills course. Sarah was a great teacher supported by the brilliant team of Sergio and Katie. We got the chance to practise knife skills on lots of different vegetables and fruits as well as some meat as well as getting lots of really helpful shortcuts and tips . As you prepare 4 dishes ( including a desert ) for 2 people and only eat one of them for lunch you are guaranteed to leave with lots of delicious meals. The knowledge I gained is kitchen life changing. Well worth the money.

Food at the restaurant was amazing! Service was great, nice and friendly. The food in the shop is overpriced for what it is. Considering it's high-end, you'd expect the products to reflect that. Lots of their products are "ultra processed" - read the labels and you'll see. Shame to see high end products with chemicals in them.

Stopped here twice on Friday once for breakfast and then again for afternoon tea. The food and service were excellent and will define visit again when in the area.

I had breakfast at the farm shop with some friends this morning, and it was such a delightful experience! The place was buzzing with energy, creating a lovely atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable. The service was spot-on—friendly and efficient, which is always a plus. Now, let’s talk about the food: it was fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed to start the day. After breakfast, we explored the farm shop, which was charming and stocked with local goodies. We even wrapped up our visit with a fun gin tasting in their spirits room, which was a highlight! Overall, it was a wonderful morning, and I can't recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I can't wait to share this gem with more friends.

Absolutely love this cafe. No matter what Nat & the crew will make you feel welcome. We went for the afternoon tea this time, you need to pre-book because Nat puts so much effort into it. You will not be disappointed

Went this morning as a family of 4 for breakfast. Great service by the young waiter who was helpful and polite Had the breakfast bap with a drink which was amazing and fab value for money and they cooked the bacon exactly as we asked! Would highly recommend. Only thing I would say is it would be nice to get oat or almond milk in Would highly recommend and I’m booking to go back to try the bottomless afternoon tea which looks amazing! 😍

This is a great place to visit. Much smaller than I imagined, but it's definitely worth trying. The food was absolutely banging. Hot, freshly cooked, and very large portions. We had reserved seats, but i don't think it's absolutely necessary (although it's probably better, especially if you have a large group turning up all together).

Really enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea here , the food was really fresh and delicious, a nice variety and generous portions. It was very welcoming and they couldn’t do enough for us, the service was great. I will reccommend to all my friends this place is a little gem and will definitely come back again.

My wife and I eat here a few times a year when visiting on family business. We have always enjoyed the combination of excellent setting with a comfortable and slightly quirky feel. Very popular with young mothers meeting with friends or family. The food is good and the service is efficient, though sometimes slow when busy e.g. in good summer weather. Recently the interior seems to have had a bit of a face-lift, so it seemed brighter and more airy.

We visited the Lake house for my mum's birthday lunch. It's a nice location though easily missed if you don't know it's there as it is tucked down a little road with minimal signage. There is a large carpark so no issues with finding somewhere to leave the car and it's about 50 feet away from the Lake House itself. There is a nice little outdoor seating area and several different sized tables inside to accommodate various sized groups with large windows that look out over the lake. It's a very nice little place and the food was good for the price though it was a bit chilly in there, we kept our jumpers on for the majority of the meal. Lovely staff and reasonably quick, attentive service. Would recommend for a quite lunch out!

I went with a group of seven other friends for a Christmas get together. This is a great place to eat a cafe style meal. I had the big breakfast which came with sausages, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms and black pudding as well as two slices of toast. We also had pigs in blankets and mince pies. The setting is good and the place busy when we arrived at around 12:30. Despite this the service was good and£ we weren’t hassled to eat up and leave. In warmer weather you could sit out on the terrace overlooking the lake. It’s a little difficult to find as it’s ‘off the beaten track’ down a private road, but it’s definitely worth a visit. Came here for pub meal with a friend. Very good service which was quick and polite. We were served by Kat . She was so lovely and sweet and very approachable and kind. It was warm, clean and great vibes

The breakfast was absolutely brilliant. Fresh, cooked to order and presented lovely. I ordered full English. My gratitude to chef James I stayed at the hotel accommodation, just exactly what you need. Clean, good decor and warm for chilly nights in February. My thanks goes to staff member / manager Jamie for the excellent hospitality. Dinner time I treated my dog to a steak from the child's menu let's just say he "woofed" it down. And I ordered the sirloin steak (cooked medium) melted in the mouth. Lastly I'd like to give credit to Andrew who works in the kitchen and gives 110% to making sure the customers thoroughly enjoy their meals through his passion of cooking.

The food was unreal and the pub itself was lovely. All the staff were so friendly and helpful! We had Amanda as our server who was extremely kind and attentive. Our group of 6 had a brilliant evening and we’ll definitely be back :)

I had a steak... it was delicious. Perfectly cooked. Cheesy chips were lush, according to a friend. The service was prompt, and polite. The waitress kirsty was really friendly. Decor was fresh and welcoming.Will definitely return for seconds.

We came in unannounced as a party of 20, the staff were amazing and accommodated us with ease. The food was hot and delicious and all served at the same time which was a mission on its own. We had the loveliest lady called Sue, who served us with out any issues. She was amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. Well done to you all but a massive thank you once again to the marvelous Sue. Would definitely recommend the pub.

I've been coming to the New Inn for over 10 years now. They have a pub quiz every Thursday and the staff are so lovely and wonderful! There is an over 18s section for the sport, darts and a pool table so it's great there is a family section too. Always excited for Thursday nights 😊 Everyone working there, you are amazing and thank you! Chicken stripes are the best!!!

I had the mix up sizzlers and had rump steak and asked for medium it was cooked to perfection Connor the chef cooked it was amazing and the service was very good by Kiara checked that my meal was ok I have been before and will recommend you to all my friends and family the service was next none very friendly and very welcoming as well well done to all staff sorry I only had 2 names but your staff are outstanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart I will be returning the food is great.
