My experience at Bees Coffee Pot was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly kind, providing prompt service by bringing out the food and drinks quickly. The owner’s warm and friendly demeanour added a personal touch that made the visit even more memorable. I would definitely come back again.

Such a cute little place, food (breakfast wrap and garlic chicken toastie) was AMAZING as were the hot chocolates. Service was incredible too, everyone was smiley and super friendly. Highly, highly recommend 😍

Came on the 23rd of November and ordered two full English breakfasts which was delicious!! We was served by Daniel who was very tentative & polite to us and anyone he interacted with. Definitely will be returning again to try the rest of the menu. Such a lovely Cosy atmosphere

Been after trying for a while. Hard to find places dog friendly for breakfast. Although a tad on the expensive side we wasn't disappointed at all. Amazing setup with its own little huts and fire burners inside. Great idea and great venture. Amazing view's aswell. I'd love this place to be open in the evening and enjoy a bottle of wine or a beer in a hut with a cosy blanket setting the world to rights. Possibly 1 for the future. Absolutely phenomenal as always. Honey Crullers are hands down the best donut in the world. Don't bother with anything else. They're absolute fire and always have been. Exactly the same as in Canada. Drive through makes it so convenient too. The chicken strips and lattice fries. Omg. Coming back for lunch that I didn't know I needed! Lovely staff on the drive through.

We travelled down to Kobe on the weekend and had a great time doing so. The food was prepared quickly and arrived in a timely fashion after ordering, the staff were super friendly and answered questions I had about the coffee (house blend being Outpost Coffee, a really smooth blend). For brunch I had the Eggs Benedict which saw poached eggs with streaky bacon come atop and oven bottom muffin. I'm not usually a fan of muffins like this as they can get soggy, fast. However I'm happy to say mine was toasted just right! The thick hollandaise combined with the yokes of the perfectly cooked poached eggs to make one hell of a meal. My only minor issue was with ordering our food, we were quickly seated but we werent approached by any of the many staff to order our food for what felt like ages. I noticed the second page of the menu had a QR which you can table order from. This is a great addition to the service and if I'd known existed without finding it accidentally myself, it would've sped things up a fair bit! Maybe having the QR on the front page of the menu would've been the ticket combined with being told on entry that was an option order wise? Make no mistake, we would definitely return to Kobe, the venue, the food and the people are great. The ordering process just felt a bit of an after thought.

Edit 2024: two years on, another holiday to UK and another visit. Fabulous double shot flat white and a slice of cake. Holidaying in Yorkshire, we came across Kobe whilst wandering through the village of Uppermill. With the smashed avo on the menu, and Jason Mraz on the speakers, I was taken home to Australia. The food was good and the coffee even better. Highly recommended.

really lovely spot we found whilst walking through the town for the first time. my mum, who’s usually super specific with how she has her matcha, really enjoyed the drink she got today, and my chai latte was amazing, not super sweet at all which was a relief, compared to some other coffee places food was very nice, filling and way worth the price, lots of options, enough to make all of us satisfied atmosphere was lovely, we all got way too excited when we saw the roof rolling up haha. decoration of the place was super nice too. would absolutely love to come again however we aren’t locals by any means

It's kind of hard to write a review of this particular place. It has the feeling of being a chain, but I have no experience of whether this is true or not. With that comes all the hallmarks of a typical Costa or Starbucks experience, largely soulless and more 'fit for purpose' than anything else. I've eaten food here on a previous trip (Ham & Cheese toastie/ciabatta) and it was okay, it did the job. I ordered it for takeout and it came sit in, so I missed my bus but still. In that instance I was served by one amazing individual and one that was more interested in chatting about anything but doing her job, mixed bag much. The coffee however (pictured) is really nice, well crafted by the barrista, creamy, if a little too milky (even for a latte). All in all, it's a fine experience, but it's hard to get much more excited than that. If you want a brew, it'll do, but I won't be going out of my way to return, more only if my bus is late. Id say pick it over the mainstream chains for a quick take out coffee for sure, anything else is at your own risk.

Rhode Island Coffee has become my absolute favorite spot in town, a welcoming haven that I visit at least twice daily—whether it’s a morning coffee run before my classes at University Campus Oldham, an afternoon catch-up with my husband on his work up, or a must have pre drink / post drink with friends after uni. The atmosphere here is incredibly inclusive and warm; it's a place where everyone is made to feel at home. The staff genuinely elevate the experience— especially Tara, Diogo, Sam, John, and the rest of the team go above and beyond to make every visit special. Their attentiveness and friendly smiles create such a welcoming vibe, making it clear that they truly care about their customers. They not only remember my favorite order but also always take the time to ask about my day, making every interaction feel personal. Rhode Island Coffee is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a community space where everyone, regardless of background, feels valued and comfortable. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a genuinely inclusive, cozy, and friendly coffee experience.

Although Rhode Island Coffee is currently rated as one of the best places for coffee in Oldham, that isn't saying much as your options are fairly limited - especially if you're trying to avoid Costa. We were in Oldham and looking for coffee and a bit to eat at 8am and places we might otherwise have chosen don't open till 10am so Rhode Island Coffee severed a purpose of being warm and dry. My husband had an Americano which he said was average, the hot chocolate is nothing to write home about and the toasted tea cake was fairly disappointing in all honesty. Rhode Island Coffee is essentially fine but nothing to write home about and definitely not a 'destination' - it's not bad but I wouldn't make any effort to return.

If you fancy a nice day out locally or feel like greeting a sunset by the beautiful lake, head out to the Etherow country park. Every time I came here, summer, spring, autumn, or winter, it had always taken my breath away with its feeling of natural beauty, peace, and quiet. For those who enjoy a walk, it's heaven. A cafe nearby offers rest for your legs with great facilities for a little coffee break.

Lovely park. Beautiful scenery. Mixture of pathways concrete, wooded, mud trails. Lakes are fabulous with loads of wildlife. There is loads closed off due to the bad weather and trees fallen but work is being done to fix these areas.

Beautiful park with a lake. Multiple trails. Probably you can spend the whole day. Car parking is not free. However, it's relatively reasonable. I saw many people fishing. You need a licence probably for this. Cafe is there besides the car park.

Gentle flat circular walk, suitable for all the family. One side of the river can get muddy, but can be avoided. Suitable for those with low levels of fitness, young children and those with limited mobility. Not too strenuous and shorter routes available. Parking available though can get full quickly when the weather is nice. Toilets available and 2 little cafes - one immediately at the entrance and one a little further along the path.

Fabulous cafe & bakers, definitely recommend. I've enjoyed everything I've ever eaten from this place whether takeaway or eat in. Food is all homemade and delicious. The Waitress in the cafe is so welcoming & so lovely, she works her socks off. The staff in the shop are also lovely & polite too. If I had to say anything bad about this establishment then, it'd have to be that Im not keen on the chairs in the cafe, if you're shorty like me, you feel like you're sat on the floor and like you're a kid again just being able to see over the table but, other than 10/10 for this place

Went in today for lunch. We ordered a jacket potato with chilli,an omelette with beans. Two teas and two cream cakes. All gorgeous. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The place is clean,tidy and warm.All in all a lovely warming lunch on a cold winters day. Our son used to go here when was went to Waterhead Academy (he's 28 now). Highly recommended.

Set in a Beautiful location. The friendly staff sell; Delicious "Pure Coffee" in association with the Pure Innovations Charity to help those in the local community in need of support. Reasonable prices and Tasty Food. From Breakfast, Lunch and Dessert. I tried their Mocha with Soya Milk along with a Cheese and Ham Panini including a fresh side salad. Plenty of still and fizzy drinks in the fridge and a variety of Ice Creams. Unfortunately the Cafe doesn't allow dogs inside. But there are tables and chairs outside.

Friendly, quick service with a smile. Good cup of coffee. Had the coffee sat outside overlooking the lake. Very relaxing. Well worth checking out the café and park.

I recently visited the Boathouse Cafe and had a delightful experience! The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was lovely, creating a perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing break. The cafe was also very clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. One of the highlights was the stunning view of the lake, providing a beautiful backdrop while we enjoyed our drinks and snacks. There was a fantastic variety of cakes and drinks to choose from, catering to all tastes. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee or a sweet treat, there's something for everyone! I highly recommend the Boathouse Cafe for anyone looking for a charming spot to unwind and enjoy great service!

Great community cafe with homemade lunch specials menu and a variety of desserts. Staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Added bonus of being set in a huge park, next to a beautiful lake and tennis courts.

Great food as usual, very full and luckily for a table. Love the artist feel to the place. Had the pork pie lunch - lovely! Update: new menu is more expensive which is a shame. Quesquidilla is £8.50 Chips is £4.25 2 of us cost £33 which is quite steep. Can't fault it though for friendly staff and good food and drinks though.

Delicious flat white and very good lunches. I had the avocado on toasted focaccia, and it was delicious and was a very generous portion. We sat out the back in quite a large seating area. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. Great place for lunch after a walk

I met friends here for lunch last week. I had never been before, but one of my friends is a regular. The food was good, with plenty of veggie options, and the young women serving were fantastic! I didn’t have my dog with me but several other people did, and dog-friendly indoor venues are rare and appreciated. The downsides were that parking and access are difficult, and the space is a bit echoey and loud. I’d be happy to visit again, but I won’t rush back.

Set in the heart of Uppermill Saddleworth just off the track for the Main Street next to the church! The quality of the cakes they make is amazing a bit more expensive than I would usually pay but worth the treat ! The lay out is amazing, staff are fantastic, I asked questions & the lady new everything! Milkshake top quality , the slabs of cake very filling dare you to eat two slices ! Enjoy the pictures & take a visit your self ! Very child friendly & dog friendly!

It's a lovely place for breakfast/brunch. Friendly, polite staff and excellent service. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in a while. Will definitely be visiting again, when in the area.

Visited after hearing great things. Highly recommend, beautiful barista coffee & really nice food. We had 2 for £12 which was a steel the small plates are deceivingly big portions. Finished with the french toast - WOW! Wonderful little spot

Had a lovely visit to Diggle Lock, unfortunately was only stopping for a quick coffee (and a cookie once my attention was grabbed at the till) Coffee was lovely along with an amazing gooey cookie to go with it! The atmosphere was very nice, we visited close to closing time so was rather empty but I could tell just from the layout and design how nice of a spot this was! They had a nice log burner in the corner that was perfect for the post winter walk! Would recommend!

Only found this place this year and love it. Staff are friendly and attentive, really nice atmosphere and the food is at a great price and very tasty. The French toast is a favourite of mine...is totally amazing. I recommend this place 100%

Superior experience. We came for a soft brunch around 11am since we had some small bagels earlier in the morning. First we were waiting around 10 mins while being seated. Order was instant. We followed advice from waitress and got pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fantastic combination. Flat white and English breakfast tea is a must have option. Restaurant has temperament atmosphere; staff is friendly; served food looks excellent every way I was looking at; and important thing premises are clean. For me nice place for tasty morning breakfast or late morning brunch.

Busy Saturday morning but we was seated quickly. Juices were fresh and food was delicious. Only disappointed was the coffee it tasted like they was form vending machine which was quite surprising.

Food and drinks are spot on! Salmon comes in generous portions as well as the soup. They’re both flavourful Also they make the best smoothie and milkshakes! Will definitely go back for different menu Service is okay but atmosphere can be loud during peak times
