Went for breakfast for my sons birthday and the food was nice. Ordered the hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was amazing. Didn't like the chopped raw tomatoes and spring onions as garnish. Wasn't needed on this breakfast dish. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Really big space. One thing, the coffee wasn't hot enough.

What isn't to love about Amphora. The staff are amazing, friendly and dedicated to offering great service. The food is simple, homely but totally delicious. The cakes... Or cheesecakes (this time) are homemade and absolutely the best!! My favourite is the butter beans with chorizo - nom!

Lovely cafe to stop at for a coffee and a light bite to eat. It is noisy and it’s busy so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet this is not the cafe for you. It’s definitely a winner for families with young children. The menu has breakfast and lunch options and there’s also a selections of delicious looking cakes. There is a good selection for vegetarians too. I decided to have the falafel sandwich and a Cappuccino. The coffee wasn’t the best and could have done with being a bit more thick and airy to create the frothy milk foam. The falafel sandwich was lovely but my only criticism would be have a more generous layer of the hummus. The staff were friendly and chatty and greeted me with a warm welcome. There is an outside sitting area however it’s looks over at the busy road and a block of flats which would put me off stopping for refreshments on a hot sunny day!

Amazing place to chill out and enjoy a coffee or a drink or two. It's located by the side of Brooklands Station and definitely worth a visit. Food is freshly served by pleasant staff in delightful surroundings.

One of the best cafes where I feel happy to take my dog. Staff always happy and even when busy they are always smiling. Visited today and tried a jacket potato, one of the fluffiest I have ever had. Coffee great as always. We will be back soon.🌝

Great little place! We had a bite to eat and a coffee. I had a really nice soup and my friend had a bacon sandwich. We were saying it would be a great place to hire out for a birthday party. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be going back!

Out on a research trip looking at independent coffee shops and bakery’s. Had a tip off that this was a great place to start. Best of the places we went to which included 6 others in the centre of Manchester. Food excellently executed and out in 9 mins - wow!. Service from an Australasian gent who was pretty new was really friendly and helpful. Tip is to visit the toilet for a view into the bakery. Well done 💪

We had a delightful lunch at this lovely spot. The food was absolutely delicious and came highly recommended. The warm plates and beautifully arranged dishes made for a memorable meal. We enjoyed refreshing iced lattes and cappuccinos to complete our experience.

Wow,the place is perfect for breakfast.We are usually go there on weekends,and it is very crowded we have to queue for 15-20 min but it worth the wait. The pastries are delicious and the drinks are made to perfection. The prices are reasonable.

Such a lovely cafe!! We came after the kitchen had stopped serving food, so I can’t comment on that, but the carrot cake was some of the best I’ve had! My chai was also so yummy and good looking, so much so I had to have a sip before my picture of it!!! Lots of space so I imagine good for family and friends for get togethers! I would deffo recommend:-))

Amazing place for a date is you dint mind hearing the odd child scream. Was a lovely time spending my wife Birthday here , she staff was fantastic and helped with differnt ways to paint and use the tools they have. The food was way better then what you expect for a cafe and I highly recommend going here! Only thing to consider is you get about 2 hours for your table booking so be awere of your time.

We travelled from London to try this pottery painting cafe and it was AMAZING! The staff are so kind and lovely, and the overall atmosphere is very chill and cosy. It is well layed-out and everything is easy to find. They give you enough time to paint and have some food and drink if you’d like which is a plus. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend. Will be revisiting next time I am in Manchester.

Loved it here! The food is lovely and the children's meal was a big hit with my little girl. We visited twice in the week do we managed to take a few photos. Pre book if you can because it does get very busy, especially in the school holidays and the weekends. We got to choose our little piece of pottery (prices are all on the bottom of the pots), different prices, all depending on size, etc. We then decided what paints we wanted, and then we had 2 hours for our booking to complete our little masterpiece! Once you have finished, you hand it over to the staff, and they give you a slip with an order number on, and then you collect it a week later once its been in the kiln. It is a lovely little treat, and it's not just for kids either. Many adults/couples were enjoying this too. I'd definitely go back. The staff were all lovely and very helpful too. 😀

Such a fab experience from the moment you walk in! The staff are all so lovely and attentive and it's such a cool environment for painting pottery and doing a clay imprint! Food is also delicious, definitely be going back!

Cute bustling little cafe in Sale centre. Brought my dad and we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who gave us menus. We ordered coffees and they came quickly. Coffees were delicious, with some great foam art! They had a fresh cake selection in gussy too which looked great Didn’t get any food on this visit but defo fancied the menu and will be back!

Excellent service, well balanced dishes and good portion sizes. Avocado and eggs was very very good, truffle fries had fantastic truffle flavour

Nice brunch. Nice location in the main Sale street. With nice space inside and tables outside (only drinks outside). Steak Hash and Egg Benedict Pull-pork were really good. Steak Hash probably one of the best brunch I ever had. Only issue was our eggs were not runny. The place is new so I guess it will improve step by step.

Friendly spacious cafe, great service

This is by far the best cafe in Sale myself and my daughters and grandson have been coming here for years. We’ve never had a bad meal. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely and friendly. The cafe is always spotlessly Clean. Can’t fault it.

Been here a few times food is always lovely and services is great if I had one grap it would the stairs leading to the toilet it just lets the place down it needs attention and toilet could do with a bit more cleaning and a refresh

*updated review* Enjoyed a little breakfast with my son on his birthday recently. Still very quaint and pretty in aesthetics and decor. Bathroom is spotless. Service is good, attentive but not in your face. Breakfast was lovely. Eggs benedict was cooked perfectly. I've added some new photos also. Tea has improved also. A real lovely brew. I especially love the teapot and cup collaboration. Updated my review to 5 star. Very cute, quaint little cafe, glad we made the effort to go here for breakfast this week. The lady that served us was lovely, smiley and friendly and attentive. Food was great quality, especially the bacon, not sure it was real butter on toast which was little bit disappointing. Dropped a star from my review as cutlery was not spotless and needed a wipe over with napkin before using. And the tea was not the greatest quality, even after brewing it lacked depth, colour and taste, and was not the best. However I would certainly return and amend my review if i found these aspects to have improved.

This is my favourite Café. I always pop in for a breakfast/brunch when I'm in this area. I also love the Armenian dessert. Place is run by super kind and polite, and very professional people. Always smiled and happy to help. You can see how your food is made, as kitchen door are always open. It's always busy here but I've never waited for the food too long. Very tasty coffee. They also provide few toys for small children, so families are nicely welcome here. Prices are fair. I highly recommend that place for everyone, who values a good quality of food and expect a positive attitude from the staff. I've been here many times and for sure, I'll be coming back here soon.

Gorgeous cafe. Went on personal recommendation and would also recommend. Spacious, many tables, free parking at rear (and paid parking opposite). Facilities with baby change and high chairs. Beautiful interior very homely and sweet. Staff are lovely gentle, kind. Food is excellent I had the Cafe Rose Breakfast (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, avocado and toasts) which was delicious. We will return 5*

A cozy café with very good ambience. We tried both, the small and the full English breakfast. The difference between the two was an extra sausage, bacon and toast. Sharing the images of both. The breakfast was tasty and freshly made. The staff were friendly, however couldn't interact much as they were busy. Overall good experience

Visited again today and my favourite place to get a coffee and food in Sale. I have to say that it was extremely busy (queueing out the door) but the two girls - I believe Sophie and Abby -working were very welcoming, hard-working, professional with everyone and could clearly handle the pressure. Well done and I will be back on my next visit to Sale.

Our favourite go to cafe in Sale my wife & i love it. Brilliant friendly Staff led by Kane the manager so helpful. Lovely cafe right in the heart of Sale so convenient for all the shops. Excellent Coffee & food. Always a great atmosphere. Highly recommended 👍

The Boathouse Restaurant offers a lovely dining experience with a good menu and attentive service. The Chicken Smokey was a highlight, with juicy chicken wrapped in bacon, oozing with cheese, and topped with a creamy white wine and leek sauce. Paired with chunky chips and broccoli, it’s delicious. On the other hand, the Mixed Grill had its ups and downs. While the portion size was generous and the mushroom sauce was excellent, the chicken was unfortunately dry, and the sausages were overcooked. Overall, the staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the dining experience. Despite some inconsistencies in the Mixed Grill, the Chicken Smokey is worth a visit. A solid choice for a satisfying meal!

21 of us had our Christmas party at the boathouse. We attended the ABBA tribute party night the abbaetts. The food was amazing, service was amazing and the entertainment was amazing. We all had the best night 🎉

Very very pleasantly surprised Popped in because we were very hungry and had a Sunday roast. Wow, firstly the service is spot on. Everyone so attentive and ready to please. Food was lovely and I never assume I can have a desert as a Dairy Free person but I was wrong. The Cheescake and vegan ice cream was delicious!!! We were served mostly by Adele and she was 10/10 What a great experience. Thank you.

A group of 12 of us had a fabulous night at the Christmas party disco night! The room was decorated and welcoming, the staff and service were all excellent and the food was very nice. Everyone was served together and we all enjoyed our meals. Table service for drinks was fabulous too. We are already planning our Christmas party for next year! Thank you to all of the staff for your tireless work, excellent service and good humour
