Fantastic food
Fantastic service
Fantastic atmosphere
Weird location on an industrial estate but it does add to the charm
The only slight criticism is though the coffee was amazing they are small
LUPO is one of those special places where you feel instantly teleported to Italy ✨.
The atmosphere is warm, the service is friendly, and the food is made with real care.
We enjoyed the Bolognese arancini, LUPO pizza, and a side salad, all of which were simple, well-executed, and full of flavour.
To drink, we had the house red wine and a Birra Moretti, both classic choices that paired well with our meal.
Beyond the great food, LUPO also offers a fantastic selection of baked goods—perfect for rounding off your meal or taking something home for later.
It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to, not just for the food but for the welcoming experience. A real gem!
Lupo Caffè Italiano is a hidden gem, tucked away but well worth the effort to find. I visited for lunch and enjoyed delicious coffee, cakes, and food. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The cosy atmosphere and excellent food make this a spot I’ll definitely return to. A true delight in a somewhat secluded location!
Great hidden place with lovely setup, reasonable price and variety menu. Coffee is above average and pasta is par with large Italian restaurants. Will try their dessert next time!
Lupo is an absolutely lovely little Italian café. It's tucked away on an industrial estate in Prestwich, and can be a bit hard to find. But once you get there, it's so worth the trip (I went back a week later). A little unassuming from the outside, once you go in you're greeted with a small but cosy and homely interior as well as lots of baked goods in a glass case. The people here are just as amazing as the food. All the staff are super friendly and gave us some good recommendations. The cappuccino and njuda bun I had on my first visit were divine, light and delicious I ended up having another coffee and then a custard pastry. On my second visit, we enjoyed the peppers, courgette flower fritters, and olives for starter, then the wild boar ragu and creamy mushroom pasta, all of which was delicious. We had a tiramisu to share for dessert, which just topped it all off.
Both visits, I left feeling satisfied and I'm already planning my next trip!
