Lovely new coffee shop with a co-working space in Wandsworth Town. The barista was super friendly, cafe is beautifully decorated, coffee is great and apparently they also have social run clubs on a Saturday. Haven’t tried the baked goods yet but they all looked very good so will definitely be back next time to try!

2406 Beautiful fresh ice latte. Balanced and a little nutty with the semi skim milk. Chill work space with relaxing music. A little difficult to find as it is hidden away behind lush trees— pay attention to the apartment building ahead of holiday inn. Barista is friendly but not intruding. The displayed pastry and sandwich isn’t too tempting but if I were to stay here for a day, the all day coffee deal sounds legit. There are sockets in the ground. Unfortunately I failed to open it and was too lazy to ask, so I just plugged in one of the traditional wall sockets.

Cozy space, good coffee. Unusually friendly staff as well. The details combine to make a difference -- all the way through to the great choice of nice smelling soaps in the washrooms. Good vibes all around.

Brilliant spot for a coffee. Very small inside so takeaway is probably best. + Had an iced late and a cappuccino, both of which were really tasty. - Still using plastic containers for takeaway and plastic straws. Needs to stop.

Absolutely fab independent coffee shop. We live around the corner and are so grateful for this little gem with the best coffee and lovely lovely staff. There is a reason why there is always a line of customers. I get my coffee for our machine here too - freshly ground at the right size for our machine. Too service - can’t wait for the opening of the wine bar. Ps keep the croissants coming from Lockdown Bakehouse - perfect comb with your coffee. Xxx

We stumbled upon this little café by chance, and it turned out to be a perfect spot for brunch. From the moment we walked in, we loved the relaxed and cozy atmosphere, and the service was very attentive, which always makes a difference. We ordered two dishes: shakshuka and creamy chicken avocado. Both were delicious, but if I had to choose, the creamy chicken avocado was the winner. The flavors blend together perfectly, with a creamy texture that makes every bite amazing. Definitely a place we’d return to without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Feels made from fresh and tasty Full English: Beans - really good, great flavour Egg: - good, maybe a bit lacking in seasoning throughout Bacon - nice and thick, maybe a hair under done, but this is personal preference Sausage - good Hash brown bites - good Avocado on toast (with poached eggs) Lovely sharp vinaigrette. Chilli oil isn't too much but adds a nice kick, toast is nice and soft, avocado is made a touch under seasoned but otherwise very nice dish

Found this gorgeous cafe when visiting Wandsworth/Putney. Really lovely atmosphere. Ordered the gluten free/vegan option for the pancakes and they were amazing! Best pancakes I have ever had (my husband had the regular version and was equally impressed). Nothing left out, even to the vegan cream on the side. Delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be returning for sure

Lockdown Bakehouse

Everyone deserves a second chance, and I'm glad I gave one to Lockdown Bakehouse. On my first visit, I tried two pies, and frankly, I did not like them at all. Initially, I thought I was over the bakehouse, but I've been on a number of occasions since, and I've concluded the stellar reputation is warranted. The doughnuts, the cakes (particularly the Almond cake), and more have been phenomenal. I'm unsure which sandwich I had (it's pictured), but I still think about it almost 2 weeks after last trying it. Personally, I much preferred the Almond cake to the walnut cake. The Almond cake was moist and delicious, whereas the walnut cake was rather dry. My recommendation is to try the sweet treats, and the sandwiches avoid the pies.

This is a cute, laid back, competitively priced local eatery that serves excellent food. I can tell the owner and staff really care about the area and want to make the experience as nice possible for the community. Having this place feels like a community bolthole on a busy high street. The food is far better than the competition in the area, and has good coffee to boot. I like that the seating is swift and on a first-come-first-served basis which eliminates the faff of having to book and turn up at a precise time. I've been here every weekend since it opened and it has gotten better and better each time as the staff settle in.

The weekend pastry run starts at Lockdown. Amazing ever changing selection (and the regulars). Pastries and bread are super fresh and flavoursome, Pain Suisse is one of my favourites so when it’s available try it. Get there early as this place gets BUSY esp weekends. Thanks lockdown for producing great bakery items at very good prices.

Really special brunch spot! Went for a birthday brunch and the food and service delivered on making it a memorable occasion. The food was tasty, the espresso hollandaise took some getting used to, but definitely was something different. Pancake was amazing!

Had a fantastic experience at Hopper a few weeks back and have been meaning to write a review ever since. They have a delicious and varied brunch menu (I’m still dreaming about the French toast 😍) with equally excellent coffee, to top it off the service we received from the staff - in particular super hosts Jess & Cintia - was exemplary! We will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend to others!

Little Frenchies

354 Old York Rd, London SW18 1SS, UK | Cafe
P: Not available

Rating: 4.6 (202) Price Level:

My absolute favorite café in Wandsworth and possibly in the whole city! I love everything about Little Frenchies: good quality coffee, delicious food with just enough options in the menu, the space, top notch customer service, location, dog-friendliness, all of it❤️ I've been a regular for over a year and could not be happier with them. The food is always amazing and they cater vegetarian and gluten free diets well. My personal favorite is the sweet dish that changes with seasons (currently french toast), ahh! I'm a former barista so I can be a little fussy when it comes to coffee but theirs is always great, comes with latte art and it is dark roast which I personally like a lot. Piccolo is my go-to. Customer service is so friendly and attentive and I love the little mascot frenchie dog🤎 All in all 11/10, would highly recommend! The best local coffee shop ever.

I ran into this shop randomly on my way to work, they got some seats outdoors and the food and coffee were amazing, I had the Spanish breakfast (if I remember correctly) and a latte was also good. This is my third time here, I just feel good to just sit out side and see people walking their dogs, Loved it!

Overall really enjoyed my late breakfast at Frenchies! Really cool spot, wasn’t too busy for a payday Saturday, great relaxed and chatty atmosphere. Atmosphere: had a very cool atmosphere, very modern and minimalist. The staff were lovely and very quick to serve and with a smile even if it was very busy! Price: £35 for two eggs Benedict and two brunch cocktails Rhubarb gin fizz was fantastic, the perfect start to a brunch. Not too boozy some sweet fruity flavours! The Eggs Benedict was great, service was extremely fast, the eggs were runny and the hollandaise was really good, not vinegary. The bacon was the highlight of the plate, crispy and salty! Perfect. Was odd we only got one egg but overall a banging breakfast! Espresso: 2.5/5, coffee is a dark roast but tasted very dark think it was too hot. Can be forgiven as it was very busy (Saturday morning) It wasn’t a drinking temp when served. Had a good cream (dark), and once it cooled down it had some very interesting tastes, was a bit bitter but not sour.
