Stopped by this little shop to grab some freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, and the owner was the sweetest and friendliest. As a first-time visitor to London, he made such a great and lasting impression on me. The juice was fantastic too! Highly recommend stopping by for both the delicious juice and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Jerry’s is the nicest way to start your day, when you are in the Angel neighbourhood. It is opposite the tube station, with lovely coffee, a wholesome barista (who also happens to be the owner) & warmest conversations, to boot. Try their cappuccino with hazelnut flavour, best!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this particular shop deserves one. I come by here to get my morning coffee almost every morning, and I’m never disappointed. Amazing coffee, and Jerry himself is a joy to speak to and starts my morning well. Skip blank street and all these other high street chains, if you want proper coffee, you come to Jerrys. Highly recommend to all!

Rating: 4.7 (523) Price Level:

We had an amazing time here and all the food was absolutely delicious! The jerk chicken meal was a total hit and all the flavours went together perfectly. My girlfriend said her favourite dish was the oxtail loaded mac and cheese. We also tried the goat curry loaded fries and finished every last bit. Our dinner was fantastic and Natalie was an amazing server who made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back!

It was amazing ! It was my first time having Jamaican food and I absolutely loved it. I had the jerk chicken and a virgin Pornstar Martini. The chicken was perfect, the sauce spicy. The staff was kind. I will certainly be back !!!

Double Knot has truly mastered the art of Caribbean cuisine. We were absolutely blown away by the honey Jerk Prawns MASSIVE in size, wrapped in a crunchy coating and bursting with lip-smacking flavour that left us wanting more. The Oxtail Fries were a revelation, with their rich, mouth-watering appeal that perfectly balanced the tender oxtail with crispy, golden fries. Let’s not forget the Curry Goat mac and cheese, which was a decadent blend of creamy, cheesy goodness with a delightful hint of spice. We also had the Jerk Chicken meal, which slapped, was huge and accompanied by rice n peas, coleslaw, plantain, salad, Jerk sauce and gravy. The Rum Punch was strong yet incredibly tasty, a real treat for rum lovers. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a vibrant energy that made us feel right at home. The staff were super friendly and attentive, especially Nai, who made our experience even more memorable with her helpful recommendations and cheerful demeanour. We left absolutely stuffed, but already excited for our next visit. It’s a solid 9/10 from us, can’t wait to return to try out their brunch!

From the moment we arrived at Double Knot Cafe, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were greeted warmly by the waiter, whose genuine hospitality set the tone for the evening. Without hesitation, we were offered the table of our choice, ensuring we felt completely at ease. What truly stood out was the level of customer service we received throughout the night. Our waiter went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, delivering attentive yet unobtrusive service. And let’s not forget the banter, they had a fantastic sense of humour, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and making us feel like old friends. Double Knot Cafe has certainly mastered the art of creating a memorable dining experience. It’s a place I’ll eagerly return to and recommend to anyone seeking top-tier service with a personal touch.

My friend had recommended us going to Caribbean Evenings after our very long hike in the Surrey Hills, and they did not disappoint with the food! We order the Jerk Loaded fries, Jerk Honey Prawns and Oxtail loaded mac&cheese. Food was 10/10 for everything we ordered. I especially loved the prawns as they were so big and the sauce was perfect. I finished this all off with the Pineapple Soda which was freshing and the right amount of sweetness. Natalie looked after us this evening and was very welcoming, lovely and bubbly. She made the dining experience that even better. All the staff were lovely! I will definitely be coming back for multiple visits!!

Had the pleasure of this being my last breakfast in the UK while travelling from Canada. I got lucky and was able to sit at a fairly private table outside and ordered a classic full English. This restaurant was super close to Kings X Station which made my departure very easy to get to the airport. The service was super friendly and if I’m ever in the country or area again I will make sure to pop in.

Fantastic breakfast spot near my accom that opens at 7am! Perfect for a tourist with a full day of activities lined up for them. Wife and I shared the full English breakfast which came with tea/coffee. Fantastic portion, and it was piping hot. Fantastic for a mid winter breakfast. We also got a latte which was really good!! The prices are decent too! Came back again for breakfast the next day. Highly recommended!!

We came in close to their closing hours but definitely didn’t feel like it, the service was attentive and fast and the food was nice. The coffee was fabulous and the atmosphere was amazing. Would definitely recommend a lovely greasy spoon like cafe close to King’s Cross.

Lovely neighborhood cafe for breakfast, brunch or a quick meal. Tucked in on a quiet peaceful street just steps away from the the bustling kings cross station area. The place seems like family run and has an intimate and cozy vibe which is something I’ve always been fond of. We came here for the traditional English breakfast and were not disappointed. Foods were well-cooked, served hot and fresh, and we love the way everything was delivered, nothing fancy but feels home style and hearty, exactly what we were craving in a beautiful morning in London. Our breakfast even comes with complimentary hot tea/coffee, and to our surprise they don’t charge service fee on top of the bill! Yummy food, generous portion with very fair price, lovely atmosphere, all that made us very happy customers. We hope to come back next time!

They offer a nice variety of food and bakery items here. The staff at this location were very friendly and made my drink quickly.

Best station coffee in London and lovely friendly crew. I commuted through Highbury & Islington 2015-2019 and was seriously missing the Coffee Run when my office moved to Farringdon. I eventually switched jobs and am now going through Highbury again since Nov 2020, I was so pleased to still see the same crew, after the lockdowns, was like homecoming. In all seriousness, if you come through Highbury & Islington, get yourself a coffee on platform 7. Edit Jan 2025 - had many more coffees all over London, the Coffee Run's oat milk flat white still goes unmatched! And try the filter coffee, so good one doesn't even need sugar!

Really nice brunch place, really cute and cozy. Staff really helpful and friendly, always kept an eye on everyone. Only thing I would mention is the cold inside as the main door is open, but there is a covered terrace which is maybe warmer. I didn’t have to wait for a table nor waited too much for food. I would come back 100%

Wanted somewhere nice to eat before the Arsenal game on Saturday. Don’t know the area so googled the night before, pics looked good so thought we’d give here a try. We weren’t disappointed 😍 My son had an amazing omelette & I had the scrambled eggs on sourdough, both were so tasty. Service great, I had an amazing kombucha to drink, good variety of flavours in stock. Would def visit again if we get tickets in the ballot next season.

A worthy dedication to Austrian cuisine that diversifies London's restaurant range. Come at least every now and again for a reminder of apple strudel and Sachertorte. Ample seating inside and out, but busy at the weekends.

Had Saturday lunch at Kipferl, we shared a chicken schnitzel which was excellent. I loved the sides and potato salad was good but had too much vinegar to my personal taste. One of the waitress was great and quick service. I tried affogato, but wouldnt recommend. All other desserts looked amazing so worth trying. We were to full to try more. They have a good selection of wines too and an awesome outside area so if it’s warmer Id recommend staying outside. P.s. bathroom could use a little cleaning

Went for a friday night dinner, first time trying austrian food and they didn't disappoint. Ordered a schnitzel and rindsgulasch to share and ofcourse Steigal for drinks. The portion of food was more than enough for two of us and everything was cooked to perfection. Also tried the Sachertorte which was perfect ending to the meal. Overall a great experience and excellent service. Would surely go back again!

This was my first experience with Austrian food, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It’s a cozy, small café-restaurant style spot in Camden Passage, just off Upper Street. The starter was a nice beetroot tris: quite flavorful and tangy, sprinkled with grated pistachios. The main, Tiroler Gröstl, was a mix of fried potatoes, beef, bacon, fresh leafy vegetables, and a fried egg. Unfortunately, the beef was quite dry and lacked flavor. For the side, I had a cold, tangy potato salad. I personally prefer fried or hot potatoes, so this wasn’t my cup of tea. To finish, I had a slice of chocolate cake and an almond tart for dessert. Both were quite dry and sugary. Their traditional Austrian beer was quite nice, though, and the male staff was friendly!
