What amazing nails as always, Lorraine 😍. The staff here are second to none they treat you like family from the moment you walk in to the minute you leave. I met the beautiful Sadé on Valentine's day! She was perfect from the start of the treatment to the end. I had to schedule the session close to my period so my skin was mega sensitive but her attention to detail and gentle pulling skills made it so much bearable. I wish I could have tipped her but you can only tip with cash. Next time I'll remember to bring some 😍 Happy Valentines day beautiful! Thank you x

I came here for my first ever wax after being recommended by a friend & I will definitely be back! It was such an easy, comfortable experience - much less painful than I expected. There was no nerves at all and the woman (I didn’t catch her name, young with brown hair) who did my wax, was so so so lovely & chatty!

The lady’s that work at the salon are great . Julie the beautician listens to exactly what you want and she will make suggestions that perhaps you hadn’t thought of. Clean salon and full Ppe worn by the staff. Keep up the good work lady’s

Had my hair coloured and cut at boa very disappointed the colour isn't what I wanted I had base colour and wanted blonde lights mingled through it ended up with just a few bits of blonde at the front then my God Sarah started with cut I asked for a reshape she scalped me it cost me £170 and will have to put highlights in myself what a night mare and very stressful never again. Following the recent review above , I would like to say thank you to Mark boa, He has done his very best to make amends.I will definitely be trying boa again.mark is such a lovely person , I look forward to meeting him when I am due for my next appointment xx

Best hairdressers, I first came here in Jan and was with Michelle for a full colour and style change. I don’t think I’ve ever left a hairdresser’s so happy. Now been 4 times and Mark and Phil look after my colour and cut, since Michelle went back to Brazil. Couldn’t be happier with my hair, all the staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. My colour lasts really well with the Davines products and my cut just falls exactly how I like it with ease. If your in the market for a new salon, Boa is the one ☝️

What a lovely experience, Mark was so good and gave me so many helpful tips as he went along. A really nice guy and very talented, I am so pleased with my hair cut. The salon itself is immaculate, and everyone there very friendly, not at all intimidating, will definitely stick with this one.

Had an amazing experience at Avesta- Andrew is one of the most knowledgeable stylists I have ever been too. Colour knowledge going through all the stages with me making sure I was happy with each stage of the colour and cut. Professional and friendly. Slightly pricey but you honestly get what you pay for!!! For an unbeatable salon experience from start to finish they is the place to go! Thank you Andrew for my amazing colour I am in love!

My daughter had a hair cut with Valerio at the salon and she absolutely loves her new hair😍. Valerio is an amazing stylist and we will definitely be coming back. All staff was also very friendly and helpful. Recommend 100%👌.

Kanny was amazing! We hadn't booked but saw they accepted walk-ins and she was happy to take us. So happy with how the tattoos turned, and Kenny made the whole process so easy and comfortable!

Really cool place and Georgia was fantastic! She did my nose piercing and was gentle and understanding - been a long time since I had my last piercing so I had the shakes (nerves) and she gave me the option of lying down while doing the piercing which helped. Very informative about how the piercing was going to be done and after care. And just all round lovely staff! I didn't see the cocktails but may be back soon to try one (or three 😜)

I had three tattoos from Georgia today and the quality is really good. Georgia was lovely, friendly and I felt completely comfortable throughout the session. I would highly recommend booking a tattoo at Shallows. I will definitely be going back in the future! Plus, the music was top tier!

I went to Mary, she did my hair amazing. First hairdresser I’ve found that can cut curly hair and was really easy to talk to. Gave me tips on how to style it for my hair type. Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience every time I’m there! I visit Ewa for all my nails appointments, she’s so professional, attentive and talented ❤️ I always get a cup of tea, I relax and rest there. My nails are always perfect, Ewa listens to any of my requests and suggestions. I always get plenty of compliments on my nails 💅🏻 the salon is very modern and comfortable, and all the staff are lovely. Couldn’t recommend more!

Kiran the owner and Fatima were really welcoming and friendly. Had an LVL lash lift and tint and am so happy with the results of lifted and bolder lashes. They offer so many treatments at brilliant prices and Kiran gives good advice on what will look good/ suit you. Would recommend if you want a good honest one stop place for waxing/ threading/ nails/ lashes ! Thank you

I got my hair cut and blow dried, the service was amazing, Kiran was lovely and she works very quickly, her results are fantastic! So glad to find someone in Altrincham who can actually give you good brows! So many other local salons charge double or even triple than here but leave your brows uneven or to thin! The customer service here was fabulous too. Would highly recommend won’t go anywhere else now.

So so happy with my first of many visits today!! I rang up very last minute with hopes for a same day appointment and Kam was so kind to fit me in. She was so sweet and so thorough with everything, explained the difference and benefits of waxing vs threading and we went ahead with eyebrow thread and tint as well as upper lip thread. Very gentle and precise, and I loved that she checked with me a few times to make sure I was happy with the look, discussed my eyebrow shape, maintenance etc. Keeping in mind that my eyebrows are naturally very uneven and overplucked by myself, she still managed to give me just the right shape, thickness and colour. Super happy with the results and will definitely become my go to place for eyebrows!
