First impressions were good, a nice and clean reception, you are also offered tea or coffee while you wait for your appointment. Background music was unobtrusive and set a serene atmosphere with a top selection of afeobeats. The Stylist was polite and friendly and the hairdressing area was light and clean. My hair wash was really good and included a head massage with conditioner , that was very relaxing. When finished my hair was fresh and shiny. I would definitelty go back and try others treatments.

I had the best experience at Toys hair and beauty. I was a last minute appointment and was looked after so well. Beautiful salon and the most amazing owner, she works incredibly hard, costumer service, style and hospitality all amazing. Thank you so much for a great experience! X

I recently got a balayage done by Lilly, and she was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. Initially, the color wasn't exactly what I had envisioned, but the owner Aggela was very understanding and offered to have it retouched. Lilly took great care of me once again and this time I’m really happy with how my hair turned out and I’ll definitely be coming :))

Best salon in Manchester! I cut and colored my hair and I am in love with the result! Aggela the owner of the salon did a great job on my hair, she had great skill and wonderful communication. I went there with a picture of the color I wanted and the results were amazing: beautiful blonde and super healthy hair above all. The price was reasonable. Thank you, I highly recommend it! 😊

I had the most wonderful experience at Love Is In The Hair by Aggela in Manchester! I went in for highlights, and the results were absolutely stunning. Aggela is incredibly talented and knowledgeable — she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and recommended the perfect tones to complement my hair. The salon has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, making the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. Aggela’s attention to detail and precision is unmatched. My highlights came out beautifully blended, natural-looking, and added so much dimension to my hair. Amazing place!! I can’t fault this salon, they went above and beyond, I am post partum and came in with my baby (I rang in advance and he’s super quiet and well-behaved). They confirmed it was ok and I had such a wonderful time and absolutely loved my hair. Really outstanding service. Thank you!

Lovely salon. I'd been looking for a salon specialising in short, curly hair post chemotherapy. Victoria always asks how I am managing my hairstyle and explains how she is going to cut it before proceeding with the haircut. She then shows how to style it at the end. The stylists here wash your hair, colour it and cut it so you have 1 person looking after you from start to finish. The mints with the coffee are also lovely! This place has been a great find! 08/09 Another precision cut again today. Such beautiful shaping - I particularly love the back. Thank you Victoria! 15/02 I am still thrilled with my hair. I decided to go curly just before Christmas and Victoria listened to my requirements and did a fabulous job yet again. I am really looking forward to my next visit to the salon. Thank you Victoria 04/02/25 Jo is now styling my hair as Victoria is currently taking a gap year. He has cut my hair a couple of times and I have been very pleased with the results. Jo is really personable and easy to chat to. He always checks that I'm happy with the cut and whether there is anything I'd like him to tweak. I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

I had made a group booking for myself, bridesmaids, mum and grandma to have a wash & blowdry before my wedding. Seamus and his team took such wonderful care of us, teas, coffees and glasses of fizz. Each stylist did a brilliant job at giving everyone what they wanted. It was such an enjoyable experience and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks so much to you all.

I visited McCrory Hair for the first time in January and it was brilliant! Seamus was so knowledgable and really took the time to listen to me and teach me how to look after my curly hair and gave me advice on improving its condition. Absolutely loved my curly haircut today, it was my first dry cut and the stylist really listened and made sure I was happy before she washed and styled it (thank you for taking so much time to separate my curls and dry them so beautifully!). Went in for the first time and was met with Dominik and Jacob, both absolute sweethearts. Dominik was phenomenal, he was kind and patient when explaining what hairstyle would suit me best - exactly what you want from your hairdresser. I have short hair and usually it's hard to get right, but he made it look fantastic!! Couldn't be happier, I'm happy to see a hairdresser who cuts your hair with so much detail, like they're cutting their own. Jacob was a sweetheart as well, he washed my hair delicately and we had a great chat. Looking forward to coming back and seeing these two!

I had the pleasure of meeting Natasha today!First time walking into a hair salon in a while ! I’m usually super anxious and find the experience can be overwhelming sometimes. However going in with no expectations and walking out feeling like I’ve got my spark back has change my whole outlook. All thanks to a beautiful team at James Roberts. I got the Japanese Hair Straightening treatment and the results were insane! I have naturally curly afro hair and the picture taken was 72 hours after the treatment having not touched it at all, I couldn't be happier! All the ladies were really nice and made you feel welcome would definitely recommend this salon🤩 thank you I will be back again for my retouch!

Speechless really. 5 star is not a enough to rate this place. I rarely do a review but since i phoned to take an appointment i felt i should go directly to review this place as endless stars. Razia is so caring, i missed my way and was late for appointment. She sent me one of her team to pick me up. She welcomed me and directly started my straightening treatment. She is an expert, she knows what she is doing. She told me i can see that you had keratin about 4 months back which is so true. . She gave me all instructions needed and the results were even more than i have expected. I had the treatment before in different country and i can assure she is a professional in her job.This lady should be celebrated. I will definitely go back there. So far, I’ve done braids, and half cornrow with designs and braids. They were so beautiful, neat, and I got lots of compliments. I tell Bellinda what I want and she’s attentive, gentle with my scalp and does a brilliant job. The braids also last for ages even when I’ve washed them. She is so fast and it’s a bonus that she’s good company, so I highly recommend her services to anyone who wants to get heads turning ☺️

Had a wonderful experience in my colouring session. I went there for my appointment with my baby, they gave me a private quite room so that me and my baby had privacy during the whole session. The lady dasty who did my hair colour was a very wonderful lady, did exactly the same colour which I showed her in the picture. All the staffs including the honour were very nice and warm. They all made sure that I dont face any problem with my baby. I highly recommend the salon because of their good work and behaviour. Cant be happy enough!! Keep up the good work team!

I wanted a hair transformation and opted for a long bob haircut. Carole provided an excellent consultation, carefully explaining the best length for my hair based on its texture and offering great styling and maintenance tips. Her expertise and skill truly stand out, and I highly recommend her! She also did an incredible hair treatment that made an immediate difference—my hair looked noticeably healthier, shinier, and more vibrant. What I appreciated most was her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I was completely happy and satisfied before I left the salon.
