I came across Salon 481 when looking for wedding hair stylists and I'm so glad I did. I had been having trouble finding a wedding hair stylist to go to the venue on the morning of my wedding but for Salon 481, this wasn't a problem! I went to have my hair trial back in October/November 2023 and was taken aback by how lovely the ladies were - I'm quite quiet and introverted and usually hate having my hair done but I immediately felt at ease and relaxed. The experience was fabulous and Donna talked me through what she felt would work well and what the other members of the wedding party were looking for. I knew before I'd even left the shop that I'd found not just my wedding stylist, but my new hairdressers, too! I booked to have my hair dyed in January in preparation for my wedding - my now husband thought it would be lovely to have my hair how it was when we met. I showed Donna a (very poor quality) picture of my hair from years ago and she was able to replicate it pretty much exactly! I have had so many compliments about my hair since and I can't wait for my next appointment. The day of my wedding (10.02.24), Donna and Natalie came to the venue and were so relaxed and chilled, it really helped with the pre-wedding nerves! The ladies came very well prepared and impressed my mum with all of the hairdressing gadgets (the magnetic wrist thing for clips) and were so lovely with my sister who has learning difficulties. Everyone who had their hair done loved the experience (we're a group that doesn't have our hair done often) and it was an extra special touch with the flowery clips that Natalie brought...my something borrowed! The final touch (which nearly made us all cry!!) was when Donna offered to do my grandma's hair. My grandma has dementia and hadn't a clue what was going on and it wasn't planned for her to have her hair done but it was such a lovely gesture and seeing my grandma have her hair done is one of the best bits about the whole day. I feel so grateful to have had Donna and Natalie do my wedding party's hair and would highly recommend Salon 481 to everyone who wants to feel like a million dollars. Thank you ladies!

Had a updo done from donna it was for a wedding she did a fantastic job and my hair was perfect all night! Not forgetting Autumn who also curled my hair, my second visit within a week!

There was a slight miscommunication on part at first and there ended up being additional costs but they were made clear straight away. She worked to make a solution and I’ve never left a salon happier. She was extremely friendly very fair prices and did an amazing job on my hair.

Very warm and welcoming, she’s a very nice, professional young women. She’s made me, my sister and mother feel amazing. My sister hasn’t had her hair done in seven years and she offered her reassurance and made her feel fabulous. Would highly recommend, reasonably priced for the level she works at. We will be returning for our hair redone in the future.

I’ve been going to this salon for the past 3 years & I cannot fault the service here! I have never had to take my own coat off once & i get offered a drink every 5 minutes! I love getting my nails and lashes done with Lucy - the salon is always clean, the results are excellent and Lucy is professional and lovely to chat with. As a priest I often like to match my nails to the seasons and Lucy always makes it work - this photo is of my advent/Christmas nails!

The Beauty Establishment offers a professional service with a warm friendly welcome. Appointments always run on time. Lucy, the proprietor has been dealing with my lash extensions for a few years, Lucy always does a perfect job. Her establishment is spotlessly clean and modern. Hi ... l went to see Lucy at this establishment, she was so nice and caring as l have been to a lot of eyebrow establishments, some who have made my eyebrows a mess, l lost my eyebrows to chemo and Lucy has been the only one to rectify them properly and this has made a massive confidence impact on me so if you are looking at this review please go to Lucy she is so down to earth and ace at her job.. she even makes you a nice cup of tea x oh and her place is spotless x

Had my hair done by Sam. Absolutely love it. Never really know what to do with it, but with some good advice ended up with my hair looking fabulous. Had my hair washed and blown by Jess. She was very friendly. I was pleased with the way she styled it. The whole experience was pleasant and took approximately one hour. The salon is modern and clean and whilst it's not a huge space it's well utilised.

Ilmaas is an amazing hair stylist! Tried a number of hair dressers and they didn't deliver as well as ilmaas. He also provides good after care advice on how to maintain the shine and feel of the hair. Very polite and professional service.

I can honestly say Ilmaas have rescued my hair and totally transformed my whole look. I am never disappointed. Really loved getting my hair done by Ilmaas, he is super at what he does and he shown me great ways to style my own hair and recommended reasonable products to help with my hair to look and feel healthy and voluminous. Love Bamford Nails and tanning shop. The girls are so welcoming, friendly and always make me feel special. My nails always look amazing and they have a vast array of colours and different types of varnish/gels etc. They do lots of other beauty treatments too so book early, it’s very popular 😊💅🏼

First time here and just left this salon very happy. I’m a bleach blonde girly so getting my hair done is usually a chore, however Zareen (I think that’s her name!) did an amazing job, and was super kind and patient. Definitely won’t be going anywhere else in future!
