Cannot recommend Empire of Hair enough! Stunning salon, and Hannah and the girls are amazing! I’ve used them for both my wedding up do and more recently my stunning hair extensions. Both look/looked stunning! The colour match with my extensions is absolutely perfect! Hannah gave me great advice on which extensions to go for and how to maintain!

Recently visited Empire of hair for a cut and blow dry and it is honestly the best salon I've been to. Hannah the owner did an amazing job, was very friendly and gave the best advice as to what i wanted. the salon and the atmosphere in it was lovely and I felt very welcome. I will definitely be returning 🙂

I have been having my hair done at Empire of Hair for over 6 years, wouldn’t trust anyone else! Nothing is ever too much to ask and I'm always in love with my hair after every appointment, lovely friendly salon with a great down to earth atmosphere, i have recommended to many of my friends who are now also long term clients. Highly recommend!

Hannah is so professional and very friendly and she knows her stuff ! her salon is absolutely beautiful, if I message Hannah regarding my appointment or if I need to ask her something regarding my hair she’s very quick on replying back, my colour that she does for me is so nice and I always have compliments on my colour! I’ve also had hair extensions done by Hannah in the past and thinking of having them again very soon , she does an amazing job and they look absolutely beautiful, so if anyone is thinking of having their hair done but not sure where to go or wanting extensions Hannah is the girl for you!

Katie is so good with my hair, I love my hair every time I leave here, definitely recommend. She’s so good with my curls and colour, I love every appointment with her. And she’s always friendly and easy to talk too!

I had my first visit to the Hair Room today and I'm delighted with my hair. After having the same hairstylist for over 20 years ( both in a salon and then mobile) , taking the step of moving somewhere else was a big deal. Katie couldn't have been any more welcoming and friendly. She put me at my ease, talked through at length what I was looking for and more importantly listened to me. As a result my hair looks and feels amazing! The salon has a lovely, relaxed feel to it. The pricing is extremely reasonable. I can't wait to return. Such a relief to find a local salon that puts me at my ease. Would 100% recommend.

The receptionist was lovely and managed to squeeze me in at short notice. Jake was my stylist and again was very lovely and did a great job at correcting my botched hair cut I turned up with. Highly recommend!

I have never felt so comfortable at a hairdressers or had such an amazing cut and colour!!! From the second I walked in for a consultation to the minute I left with the most beautiful hair honestly cannot recommend enough!! Have had compliments constantly since getting it done :) It's rare to find such an amazing hairdressers honestly get yourself booked in!! Now been going for a while and still just as brilliant will always go back :)

I had my hair done with Jazmine today and I couldn't be happier with the results! Jaz listened to my requirements, suggested what she felt was best, resulting in a lovely balayage giving my hair a natural, sun-kissed look! She also explained the types of toner and which one was suited for my desired hair colour - it washed and blow-dried out to be the perfect one, leaving my hair with a beautiful, cool undertone (unlike brassy as a result I have had with other hairdressers). I'll definitely be returning to Jaz for my next hair appointment!

I generally get quite nervous going to the hairdressers, but Jazmine made me feel instantly at ease while also ensuring I got the perfect cut for my hair. She recommended the best layers and explained how it would suit my hair type. After hairdresser-hopping for a while, i think this will become my go-to place ❤️🥹

Debs a great hairdresser with oodles of knowledge that not only can she do all the up to date, trendy hairstyles, but she really understands about middle age hair styles. She's really friendly and always try to accommodate with appointment times. Deb also helped me out for my wedding hair and was happy to come to the hotel. Everyone commented on our hair. I have been visiting Debs for 6 years, and I'm always happy with my hair. Debs is flexible and approachable ( always happy to listen to your wishes). Debs is realistic/ honest and is willing to try new styles, colours etc ( my previous hairdresses wasn't) while explaining in depth processors considering/managing your expectations. I always feel at home at the salon and enjoy her lovely coffee ( it's a real treat)

Her knowledge of styles & colours is immense. The salon is small but so stylish & welcoming & has just had a beautiful makeover. This lovely little home based salon is simply amazing. Debs is an amazing hairdresser, nothing is too much trouble for her and I always come out feeling on top of the world. She is officially our family hairdresser now as my 2 daughters love to go to Debs too-one of which drives over from Chesterfield! We’ve all got very different hair to each other but all of us always end up with a fabulous result! Can’t wait for her to do all our hairs for my daughter’s wedding in April 🥰

I had my hair colored lighter than ever, and everyone commented on it. The hairdresser made me feel that I could trust her, and the young girl who washed the colour out was so nice and made me feel very relaxed. Also, they make you feel so pampered and relaxed 😊

I had to update my review, I was impressed with this place beforehand but I'm even more of a fan now! I had my hair done at a place I'd never been to before and my hair reacted badly to a product that was used, after not having the best service from the salon I went to I decided to call KH as it's where I have been before and straight away they offered to have a look at my hair and give me some advice. I went in and they took the time to have a good look and suggest some amazing products and how to treat my hair to get it healthy and strong again. I wanted mainly to say thank you because I was absolutely gutted after my hair went bad because it was in amazing condition I had spent years getting it healthy and long and I thought I'd treat myself to highlights and it really didn't turn out how I'd expected and after just one use of the products you recommended and how to treat my hair to get it back to normal I am so impressed it's still got a way to go but it feels much better already!! Thank you for helping me when it wasn't even your problem, this place absolutely care about the health of hair and customer service I couldn't recommend it enough!!

I booked an appointment online with Megan for a wash cut and blow dry. She was so friendly and advised me to help me decide how much hair I wanted to cut off. I love my new hair length and cut, and it was styled beautifully just how I wanted it. It felt and looked amazing for days after! Can’t wait to book again for my colour and cut with Megan again.

Jade has been doing my hair since she joined Colourworks (I followed her from her last salon as she is so good). The salon environment is fantastic- it’s a very relaxing, laid back and decorated beautifully. I always leave happy with my hair and so f have a bad word to say. However busy Jade is- she always manages to fit me in and has even worked an extra Saturday to accommodate me which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!
