Wow! My nails are fabulous! Have been suffering from ridges and split nails that snagged on everything!! I’ve tried everything but nothing worked…Millie was recommended by my sister so went yesterday and she resurrected my nails!! Best thing ever as been putting it off for years!!

Verve is a fantastic salon in Matlock. I have been getting my hair cut and coloured by Sam for 10 years and am always super happy after every visit! His colour is particularly amazing and he is also really lovely and fun to have a chat with.

I have a mad head of hair, curly and a little unkempt when it gets long. Not many places can do a decent job of it. The Haven fitted me in at short notice, because I had a date I wanted to look good for. Fi did an amazing job, real eye for detail and clearly cares that the cut was good and I was leaving feeling confident. Really recommend it, dead homely and seemingly is trying to use natural and sustainable products which is always good.

Just moved to the area so was nervous about finding, and placing my trust in a new hairdresser.....I need not have worried!! Fiona took the time to listen and understand what I wanted in terms of both cut and colour. She absolutely delivered on both counts. Plus, she is a very warm, welcoming person, who made me feel at ease from the minute I stepped into the salon. Fantastic!! Highly recommended.

Recently started using Fiona and have followed her into this new venture! I went to the new salon once prior to lockdown, and all appropriate safety measures were in place. I have very wacky hair colours and Fiona is never afraid to attempt what suggestion I have next! Even though it’s a time consuming process she always remains so calm, and her time management is amazing! I would not have the patience to do it myself! Amazing quality, amazing prices! I have visited this fantastic place since I turned up on Diane’s doorstep in a state 20 years ago. My hairdresser at the time was not doing me any favours and I was taken in and every effort made to get my hair back on track. Since then the salon has developed into the Crich Hair and Beauty that we all love and know. Try it and see you will never be disappointed I promise you.

I had a wash and blow dry booked in with Chris - it was such a relaxing and positive atmosphere, Chris was so attentive and listened to my thoughts about styling my hair, as well as giving me suggestions and tips on how to style my hair in the future. My hair looked amazing! Very lovely experience and I’ll definitely be back next time! Thank you Chris and the rest of the team

Went to try this hair salon with high hopes but was left underwhelmed. Loved the friendly customer service from the moment I first walked in and the nice touch of being offered sparkling water while waiting for my stylist. The stylist was very friendly too and good at understanding and being able to execute the desired result I wanted. However the reason why I only gave 4 stars and not 5, is it felt like I was being squeezed into a tight time slot and the service felt a bit rushed, and a bit lacking. I was not offered to have my hair styled at the end, which I’ve grown to expect from many other stylists of a similar price point as a complimentary part of the service. The stylist who did my hair dried it in a way that didn’t feel like a professional technique, just wafting the hair dryer around, not using a brush, so I didn’t even get the volume from a nice professionally done blow dry. Left with hair that just fell flat rather than having that special “fresh from the hair salon” feeling. In my opinion when you’re paying for a professional to do your hair, you would want to walk out having it look a bit better than any other day. If anything I feel like I have a better hair drying technique at home. For this reason, I doubt I would go back.

As a visitor to the UK I had been struggling to find somewhere to get my hair cut and coloured. But from the moment I walked into the salon Ashley and the staff made me so welcome and they were determined to fit me in somewhere during my stay in the area. Megan has done a wonderful colour and cut that even my husband commented!! Ashley also called me back as a cancellation came in so I could also get my brows done. You are all team amazing, all of you so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, all of you. Would 110% recommend this salon.

Fantastic salon; both Laura and Freya, are extremely talented hair stylists, (wether it's for a cut, or colour or even an updo for a special occasion) making you feel a million dollars every time you visit. They are both super friendly and give good advice (if needed) on best hair products, or hair problems etc.. Laura does my hair and I'm never disappointed. I also have a few beauty treatments with Freya, each month, which includes, eyelash tint, + eyebrow wax and tint. It truly is an amazing salon to go to, when you feel you want pampering.. I love my visits to this beautiful little salon, a wonderful relaxing experience every time.💖

I'd highly recommend Laura-Beth as hairdresser, She made me feel so welcome when I first walked in as I'm not from around here so felt a bit anxious at first but once we started chatting I felt at ease. I've not had my hair cut for while so going there was breath of fresh air as laura cut my hair really nicely and made my hair feel fresh and tidy again.

I was a little nervous as it was the first time in years using a different hairdresser after the one I used in Sheffield closed. Freya and Laura were so welcoming. It’s a lovely atmosphere in the salon. Freya did an amazing job at my restyle. She was gentle kind and constantly checking in as she was going. Thank you ladies.

A wonderful afternoon spent with the lovely ladies at this salon! Cozy, kind and friendly, and a gorgeous dog Molly who is the most well behaved salon dog I’ve ever met! Nails are beautifully done, and the massage was wonderful and we had such a great chat too. We felt so welcomed, offered any drink we could wish for! We are back tomorrow for more treatments and hurrying to book back at Christmas time- this is quite a hidden gem, I would highly recommend it!!

What a lovely little boutique salon 😍 I'm a repeat customer and won't go anywhere else now. I've had various treatments and have always been extremely happy every time. It's such a lovely and relaxed environment, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, they are all so knowledgeable, not just on the services they provide but the products they use too. The range or services they offer means I don't have to go anywhere else for treatments. They have it all. It's absolutely worth travelling for if you're not in the area, you won't be disappointed. Carly & Anna came to The Forest Lodge Hotel at 6.45am on Thursday 1st September 2022 to do make-up and hair for the bride (my daughter), myself and 7 bridesmaids. Carly & Anna did an amazing job and worked so hard on us all and the make-up and hair was perfect! By 8pm that evening our make-up and hair still looked so fresh. I want to thank you Carly & Anna for being such perfectionists and helping us make Belle’a wedding day a huge success. We had a good laugh too in that hotel room and goodness knows how 11 of us fitted in the room but it was a very calm and happy atmosphere. I would highly recommend these 2 ladies to anyone whether they are getting married or otherwise. Aly Waller.
