Choosing Jess as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams! Jess is so professional, organised and knowledgeable in every single department and we are so glad we hired Jess so early on in the planning. Jess has a wealth of amazing contacts and was always available to support us through the process. She is extremely hands on and provided a service that was worth every penny. Her and her team were phenomenal on the day and made sure everything went perfectly - she is also just a lovely person to spend time with whilst organising our big day! My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Vikki and her team were absolute superstars! I know every couple thinks their wedding was a fairy tale, but ours really was thanks in no small part to Sparkle n Shine. Even though we had a tight deadline to get everything sorted (less than four months) Vikki was very kind, warm, helpful and professional through every step of the process. A small friendly hard working family team, that were good value for money. They provided just what I wanted for an afternoon into evening garden party providing a furnished marquee for eating and dancing, paying attention to every detail.This dedicated team even came back after dark to test the effectiveness of the marquee lighting before the event. The BBQ food that they provided was delicious and their bar service was very efficient. They provided all the crockery and glassware and left everything tidy at the end of the event. A excellent professional service.I can highly recommend them.

We had a fantastic garden party for about 50 people the team were amazing and ensured everyone had a great time. We can’t thank them enough for making our 10th Wedding Anniversary special for all us with great food, great service good value for money. We found This Green Moon by chance when looking for local wedding venues and, it ended up being the only place we saw as we knew it would be perfect. Ash & Paul from the moment we met them and agreed dates were absolutely incredible, making sure every detail was covered for our wedding day. The setting is beautiful but, was made even more special by all the work the team put in on the run up to our wedding and surpassed all our expectations. Every member of the team were amazing and did everything possible to make sure us and our guests had the best time. I could write chapter and verse about This Green Moon and have thanked them endlessly for making our wedding exactly how we wanted it to be.

We had our wedding at This Green Moon last month. If you are thinking about booking them for your special day or a party DO IT! I can't recommend them enough. Ashleigh and Paul and the whole TGM team could not do enough for us. Nothing was out of the question or too much trouble! We had a lot of heartbreak and hurdles leading up to the wedding. So I needed all the support I could get. They took all the pressure away with their expertise and calm beautiful ways. Plus have you seen the site? It's just magic 🏕️ We had a 140 plus guests with a whole range of needs and likes but they made it work with ease. The forestry trail for the kiddies was amazing giving their parents 2 hours off to boogie. The choice of drinks from the bar was incredible, the sounds systems brilliant, the staff so accommodating and clearly love their jobs. If you want an outdoor wedding but feel overwhelmed by the prospect of it book This Green Moon. They have the experience and set up, anything they don't have they know where to source it. They have a huge list of recommended suppliers, but if what your after isn't there, they will work with you to make sure you get what you're heart's desire. The weather on our wedding day was grey and damp, but in the lit up woodland haven of TGM it just added to the magic. There's plenty of covering from the elements and the fire pit in the centre of the tents kept all our guests warm whilst toasting marshmallows. I could go on and on. We held our wedding at This Green Moon in early May 2024, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Ash, Paul and the team were incredible from first meeting them through to organising everything on the day. They helped us plan our day, gave really helpful insight and recommendations from their experience at other events, and on the big day made everything run so smoothly there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The whole team made our wedding so special; our friends and family are still talking about how great the venue looked, how friendly the team were and how good an atmosphere there was. We hired Candy Floss Crazy to provide a hot chocolate cart to our employees for Christmas Jumper Day. It was really popular and went down well with our employees! Hired the trotter 3 wheeler for my son's surprise birthday party. And he loved it...so did the guests. The 2 lovely guys brought it all the way to essex. The photos were great and the guest book a lovely keepsake. Definitely recommend this company and sure will use them again in the future.

We used Candy Floss Crazy to provide strawberries and cream for our wedding! They did an amazing job despite the very hot weather and the food offered was delicious! We would definitely use them again! Our guests loved them!

Ordered 2 rides for our Fresher's Fair. Arrived and set up and tested within 2 hours. Fantastic service throughout the day. All Health and Safety documents were available. Students had a great time and the most negative comment was that we should have rented more rides. Will definitely be using you again next year!

We booked Suzy as our venue stylist and we are so glad we did! Suzy is amazingly talented at what she does and managed to transform our somewhat vague ideas into a cohesive and beautiful vision for our venue. Suzy’s passion for her craft is plentiful and I came off every call with her feeling confident and excited for what she was going to create. I was able to completely relax on my wedding morning knowing the venue would look beautiful on my arrival. This in itself was priceless, but on the more practical side of things it was also such a cost and time effective decision as there was no need to source and purchase all our own props for our wedding day. It was also a far more sustainable way to style our wedding as we weren't left with boxes and boxes of wasted items at the end. Where do I even begin? I’d been to a number of weddings where the couple had to set up in the lead up and take it all back down again once the day was done. We just knew that isn’t what I wanted to be doing. We needed calm, no stress and worrying about storage and not to mention the crackers prices for individual purchases of items, storing before the day and where the heck do we put it once the day is over? I saw Suzy’s work on Instagram and immediately knew we would hit it off and quite honestly you were our saving grace in the lead up and the day. It was so bloomin’ lovely to have the decor a secret and to hand over the reigns to someone who knows what they’re doing. We got to see the final product when celebrating and so we’re as awe struck as our guests. We hadn’t a clue how much work goes into planning a wedding and we didn’t even need to make it look nice. Nice doesn’t even cut how beautiful Suzy made our venue; every single person told us how gorgeous it was and were all relieved the next morning when Suzy turned up to take it all down. I emailed numerous times for advice and booked our band as Suzy recommended them; they were amazing and once again you were bang on the money! Suzy; you are worth every penny and more because you were invaluable. Do yourselves a favour and book the stylist package at the very minimum because it makes your venue go from good to fantastic. Not only that but it takes some much needed pressure from your shoulders. We wanted to have everything look amazing but couldn’t quite be bothered to do DIY. Going to ikea the week of the wedding was my worst nightmare so do yourselves a solid and book Suzy!! Suzy, thank you again for everything. Not only is your work beautiful but so are you!

Not only did Suzy manage things running smoothly on the day, but our calls in the run up to ensure everything had been planned out were really useful, as well as communication with suppliers the week before. Working with Suzy was an absolute dream. We planned our destination wedding styling with her from Bermuda. We spoke with her on the phone with a four hour time difference which meant early morning long distance calls to late night conversations squeezing in every detail. Suzy did a wonderful job at bringing our Pinterest board to life. The details and decor were phenomenal and her outstanding communication skills eased every worry that we might have had when planning from afar. She made fantastic recommendations for other suppliers and everything ran smoothly on the day thanks to her. Cristel and the Shindig! Team are amazing. All our guests commented on how beautiful the styling was at our wedding venue Hornington Manor. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful featuring flowers that meant a lot to relatives that were unable to spend the day with us. They were brilliant on the day and during all the planning. We cannot thank them enough.

We were able to reuse items we had for the ceremony for our night do which was a great way to carry our theme through from day to night. Having the stress taken off you was a great feeling also. Not having to worry about styling the venue or worrying about anything going wrong because they were downstairs doing everything they could to make our venue look amazing. It is just over 3 months since our wedding day that was styled by Shindig Events Styling and I am continuously reliving how beautiful it was. From our first consultation with Joanna to the wedding day setting up & clearing away, the whole process with Shindig was utterly seamless. At the initial meeting, Joanna understood my vision and colour scheme immediately and put together the most beautiful centre pieces & floral décor. It was exactly what I had pictured and I was already excited to see it come together on the day, however, nothing could have prepared me for what it actually looked like; it was simply stunning. Shindig attended our venue the day before to set up, which was something that really put me at ease, knowing it was done and ready. My now husband and I took a moment to stand in the Reception Barn alone when it was fully styled, and there was something really special about seeing our vision and months of hard work come to life in the quiet of the evening, knowing the room would be filled with our favourite people the following day.
