We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier set of tables and chairs then loaned to us by Typical Type for our pub wedding in September. They really complimented and elevated the setting and Barry and his team were just the friendliest and most helpful folks we could have asked for. Special thanks to the guys who delivered and collected for hiking the lot up the external fire escape too! Couldn’t recommend TT strongly enough.

Typical type aka Kerri and Barry supplied our wedding in October at east Riddlesden hall. Kerri and Barry had fantastic communication from start to finish and offered their help and support if needed. The cost was very reasonable and Barry was kind enough to give us some discount as they were supplying a wedding the day before at the same venue. Thank you for this. We hired the red neon sign let’s be wild together this was a great backdrop for photos, the pallet seating was perfect for our evening guests and the lighting outside was just beautiful. We hired the heart festoon fence and twinkle lights for the top of the barn and in the large tree outside the barn. It all looked magical at night and we were lucky enough to have a warm October evening to enjoy the lights. I will definitely be using typical type again in the future and would strongly recommend them if your planning a wedding they are amazing. Thank you for making our day extra special.

Barry and his team were brilliant from start to finish. Barry was always quick to respond to my emails and very helpful with finalising all the tables, chairs, benches and light up letters we wanted. We even hired more amazing bits like chandeliers and mobile charging points. All the stuff we hired was brilliant and set up and collection of everything was perfect. I booked them about 2 years in advance and as time went on I changed my mind about wedding decor. Changing my order was never too much trouble for them and it did not take them long to reply to any questions I had. The prices of items to hire are extremely competitive. As a business, Glamourpuss Weddings are informative and professional whilst also being friendly and approachable. I had a couple of items moved from one room to another on my wedding day and their service was so smooth that I didn’t even see them do it. Sam and team were super efficient to set up and clear everything away. They set everything up as we'd asked plus made a couple of adjustments that we just wouldn't have thought of (like putting an uplight either side of the moongate). Laura and the team were the absolute best!! We had already booked our yurts for our wedding, but were on the lookout for a team that could run the bar for us. We were recommended Bar Events and I'm so glad we used them. Laura was so helpful with prompt responses to our emails and really helpful meetings too. She helped us work out what we'd need (we had no idea what a fridge trailor was or an ice igloo and why they'd be important haha), as well as planning out how the day would run. The staff on the day - omg they worked so, so hard. They were all absolutely brilliant, ensuring even when we sat down guests were sorted for drinks rather than them having to get up! We used BAR Events for our wedding at Almscliffe Valley in Harrogate and could not have been happier with their service. Laura was so organised and friendly throughout the whole process, very responsive to emails and really helped us in our planning of the wedding. They were so accommodating throughout - we had to postpone our wedding due to covid but there was no stress in rearranging. Laura also helped us customise our drinks package and specifically ordered our toast drink and choice of cocktails for the bar. The set up was very smooth and the tepee's looked amazing, the bar staff were so friendly and helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. The open days are a great way of seeing the tepee's, so we would definitely recommend attending one if you can. Could not recommend BAR Events more highly - thank you again for everything!

Where do we even start!! BAR Events absolutely made our wedding day the best day of our lives. I can honestly say we didn't have to stress about anything, Laura was always on hand to help with any queries and liaised with our other suppliers to make sure we had everything we needed on the day. The guys setting up and taking down the teepee were brilliant, and the bar staff on the day were just amazing. Honestly couldn't find a nicer bunch of people and they are just a credit to BAR Events. Nothing was ever too much, always smiling and just made the whole weekend run completely smoothly. Not only was the teepee and staff fantastic but the bar was spot on! They catered for exactly what we wanted and more! Prices were so reasonable and our guests were so impressed with it all. You don't just get a teepee service, you get the full package. Laura pretty much acted as a wedding planner for us too. We booked our wedding at Ponden Mill Weddings way back in the Summer of 2020. Fast forward to 23rd July 2022 and the Ponden Mill Weddings team were instrumental in making our day as fun and amazing as possible! Elkie and Jamie were on site for our wedding and accommodated us amazingly, whether it was running the bar, making sure our guests were happy or pressing play on our ceremony playlist - they absolutely smashed it! What a fantastic day! The venue is a beautiful canvas for any type of wedding - ours was very much a colourful, DIY festival themed event that came together beautifully. We're absolutely delighted with how everything turned out and could not recommend booking this venue more. We got married at Ponden Mill at the start of August and we had the most amazing day we are so glad we chose this venue for our wedding. The Venue itself is beautiful and you could get away with doing very little to dress it and it would still look great but there is plenty of scope for you to put your own style on it. The surrounding Yorkshire countryside is very picturesque, and we were lucky enough to have the weather to allow us to have the ceremony outdoors which we loved. We weren’t looking for a very formal wedding but a relaxed party atmosphere and the venue and the team really delivered on this ourselves and our guests had so much fun! The food and drinks were great genuinely the best I have had at a wedding and I wasn’t the only person who thought so. There were so many options to choose from and you certainly won’t go hungry. The whole team were amazing throughout the entire process and always on hand to answer any questions or deal with requests we had in the run to the wedding and on the day. Really helped us relax and enjoy the day. Massive thank you to Elkie and Jamie who were there on the day but also to wider team for your help in the build up you absolutely smashed. We had our wedding at Ponden mill this November, and we cannot give enough praise to the team. We knew as soon as we went to see the venue that it was for us it’s just suited us a couple and for the atmosphere we wanted for our day. The team were so friendly and just immediately understood what we were after. The communication was outstanding nothing was ever too much trouble and the support with booking accommodation was so helpful. The food I don’t even know where to start from the tasting night where we rolled home to on the day, the outside kitchen delivered. Our guests have not stopped talking about in particular our vegan guests who said it’s be the best food they have ever had. But it was the little touches that meant the most being saved a pizza for when the guest had left to enjoy just us two was so special. On the day the team were fantastic in helping the day run smoothly, checking in with us and making sure we were ok. Massive thank you to all especially Elkie who was our go to person for anything, and the whole team thank you all so much.

Everything went very smoothly in the lead up and on the day which took away the stress. One of the reasons we chose Ponden was because it felt more laid back and friendly than some other wedding venues which felt quite 'stiff' in terms of what you could and couldn't do, as well as being able to set up the day before and stay in the attached cottage. The outside ceremony area is lovely and the inside doesn't need loads of decoration. The food and drinks from The Outside Kitchen were delicious too, many of our guests commented on how great the meal was Would definitely recommend Ponden as a wedding venue!
