Have a lunch menu £12.50 for main and sweet. A very big choice on menu. Very well priced. Very nice staff and friendly. Go here often now we have found this place. Good parking but small entrance. This was recommended to me.
We went quite early for a Saturday evening, so it was super quiet, but the playlist was quality 80s chill and the food was just excellent. The person working was really friendly and helpful. Very much enjoyed the Giant Yorkshire Pudding with Beef Brisket. I am stuffed full, too much to have a dessert. 😅
Popped in on the off chance that our party of four could be accommodated, staff very welcoming and friendly, they were able to seat us but asked if we could delay ordering as it was quite busy. We were happy to have a drink and wait, staff took order shorty after, food was delicious, fresh and hot. We ordered desserts which were home made and also very good. All in all a very positive experience and would definitely recommend.
Steak and ale pie was very nice. My only issue is that if you're going to charge at least £15 a meal why scrimp on the veg which is probably the cheapest ingredient, peas cost almost nothing so why give such a small amount? If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars for the food.
Had a few meals here over the last few months. Me and my wife have enjoyed a variety of different dishes, they have all been really nice. Decent home cooked food at a reasonable price and a good selection to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful.
