HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We booked with JMC events for our wedding in July 2023 at Winters Barns. We booked about 18 months in advance and throughout the whole wedding planning both Kelli & Jack have been really helpful. Answering any questions we had and helping us choose what would be best for our special day. We went ahead with the evening DJ, dancing on clouds for our first dance, uplighters for the venue and evening photography. Everything was just perfect! I couldn’t imagine our first dance without the dancing on clouds and the uplighters just looked lovely in the venue. We really likes the idea of the confetti cannon but unfortunately our venue wouldn’t allow this. We decided to book the confetti cannon for our gender reveal and it was amazing so if your venue would allow this I would highly recommend! We also had the flower wall for the gender reveal too which was perfect for photos! Everything from start to finish was so well organised and we didn’t have to worry about anything. Thank you so much for helping us make that part of our day so special. We can’t wait for future parties where we will Definitely book with you again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

JMC Events made our wedding day fabulous. They were professional to work with, flexible with our requirements and struck the right tone with the music choice. It was an amazing party! Jack & Kelli were amazing for our wedding. We would highly recommend. Jack & Kelli are so friendly and lovely to chat too. We spoke a few times in the run up of the wedding and on the day they were brilliant! On the day the set up looked fab and tied in with our colour scheme. We couldn’t thank Jack enough for checking in with us on the day and keeping to our time line. The confetti bombs were a huge hit on the dance floor and also capturing our first dance was a lovely touch. We know where to go if we ever need a DJ. A perfect addition to our day. KC Weddings supplied the chiavari chairs for our wedding at Lympne Castle in April 2023. They were absolutely brilliant. We needed the chairs to be moved after the ceremony from the ceremony hall to the main hall and they were able to accomodate this without any problem. We hired KC for our wedding on 27/08/22 and couldn’t be happier we did. From our first meeting with Marcus we found he to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Blessing coordinated my wedding day in May 2018, from finalising the decorations of our reception, to understanding our wishes for the day, making our delicious wedding cake and finally making it all happen by contacting the suppliers and providing a schedule. My wife and I knew we needed a lot of help in planning our wedding because of the huge number of guests we were expecting so we interviewed several planners but Once we met Blessing we knew immediately she was the one to help plan our wedding. She was beyond helpful throughout the planning process. She always got back to us immediately and there was no question she couldn't answer. She also helped to get the best and most affordable wedding vendors for us. On our wedding day she was everywhere solving every problem and making the day perfect. Also the wedding decorations she setup for the hall were absolutely beautiful to the point where people were coming up to my wife to ask for Blessing's contact details. After the wedding she stayed forever making sure every last item was packed up. I'm telling you there's nothing Blessing didn't do. She has truly become family and words aren't enough to recommend her enough. If I could I would actually have another wedding (with my wife of course) just to experience the magic of Blé.

What a Blessing she was! She handled everything exceptionally well from the ceremony to the reception and kept me calm throughout the day. There was nothing she could not do, timely and professional from start to finish my wedding day ran smoothly and she was always on hand to assist me if I needed anything from her. Blessing was the wedding planner for my friends wedding, I was a bridesmaid and Blessing did an absolutely amazing job. She catered for everyone from the bride, to the family, to us the bridal party. Everything came out beautifully and the bride was super pleased with everything. Very professional at the face of adversity also. Handled everything very well on the day as well as the whole weekend (destination wedding in Italy). Would definitely recommend Blessing to anyone!

We used Thanetians for our works annual dinner for around 80 people on Friday 7 June 2019. Our theme was “The Great Gatsby” and we could not fault Thanetians they did a fantastic job in decorating our 8 tables in a black and gold theme. They really listened to what we wanted and made any additions along the way and made the room look fantastic. We were at St Augustine’s in Westgate-on-Sea and we had the Chapel. The tables looked stunning with big ostrich feathers and tall vases with led lights around the top. The table and chairs covers looked amazing really did take our breath away when we walked into the room. Thank you Nikki and Amanda for making our annual dinner brilliant.

The venue is stunning, the organisation and communication was first class right from the start, we booked it immediately on our first visit. Tania and Sam made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. The castle is so magical and the staff so welcoming going over and beyond our expectations. They were happy to accommodate our requests (we wanted our friend to conduct the ceremony who is a registrar). And to have our dog with us - he had a great wedding day! We had many WOW moments especially in the little details (roaring log fire /home made rose petal confetti / raspberries in our champagne) the elopement team made our day the best! The cake , flowers, decorations and food were exceptional. All our friends and family have loved seeing Fleur’s amazing photographs of our 50 shades of pink elopement at Westenhanger Castle 🏰 . We would highly recommend the elopement service they offer.

After deciding we wanted to elope we started to look into a venue. We came across elope kent on Google. After looking through there website we decide to look at allington castle venue. From the minute we spoke to sam at elope we felt instintatly in safe hands. Sam was amazing and reassured us the whole way through. The Night Yard was great choice for our wedding!!! The venue and staff were both excellent and accommodating. The venue has everything you need in it and makes it more intimate as everything is in one place but gives you room to move around. The staff, especially Kerry was excellent and gave us all the support we needed and more. I have left more of my views below – if you are considering getting married you should have a look. The wedding was of course great, but let me tell you about: THE VENUE Glasshouse - Really nice venue which matched everything we hoped for. It has a big glasshouse which is where our ceremony and wedding breakfast was held, it is large enough to cater for everyone and still have space for a DJ. Courtyard - It has a nice outside garden / courtyard where ceremonies can take place too, this is a big open space that latches on to the main glasshouse which means all your guests are in the same area (which means no wandering off guests). The kids loved the courtyard and played outside for lots of the time. The staff even put out games to entertain them (and adults too). Parking - lots of parking and you can leave your car overnight. Lockers – They also provide you with access to big lockers to store things in a couple days before which does help – we didn’t need to but it is useful to have. THE STAFF This was the other main reason we chose The Night Yard. On our first viewing of the venue Kerry was great and you can tell really loved her job, she explained everything and walked us around the venue and left no doubt in our mind that the staff really love to help. After we paid a deposit we harassed Kerry quite a lot and she was always happy to help, we went back to venue 2 or 3 times and she was very accommodating and supportive and gave lots of good advice. Honestly Kerry was great and she made everything so much easier. We would message or call her for queries regarding table clothes, and table layouts etc and she didn’t mind at all. The other staff were great too, Pip in particular who handled the drinks package was really nice and helped too. Unfortunately, Kerry wasn’t there to facilitate on the wedding day but we had Pip who performed well and made sure everything ran smoothly. All the other staff we came across were great too. They’re very accommodating, you can even bring pets. No problems at all with the staff. And Kerry went above and beyond. PACKAGES Food / Catering – our catering was actually really good and the food was really nice, but only bad side for me was the lack of choice for the caterers. The Night Yard have a selection from a few caterers to use which fits into your package but for us some wasn’t available on the day and we had a choice between only 2. It did work out well but I think they should have a larger choice (but then I suppose its what makes them good because they know their suppliers etc). External Caterers – you can bring your own external caterers in, but they will charge £500 to do this, however that option isn’t that bad if you have your own preferences as most caterers are very expensive (ours was!). OVERALL I 100% am happy with the venue and the service, the wedding was great and I had no issues or problems at all.

The Christmas grotto’s absolutely amazing, brings the magic of Christmas to life and brings so so much joy to all the children, incredible actors and staff and you can see so much hard works gone in to making it look incredible, Thank you soo so much to you all, you really made my two girls Christmas time so special, this is are second year coming and will definitely be coming back 😃🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼

Absolutely perfect! We hired Once Upon a Wish for our daughter’s 4th birthday and it was the best decision. Cinderella was so impressively like the actual Cinderella - the hair, makeup, costumes are the best I’ve seen! And she was so wonderful with the kids, they all loved her. She was beautiful, kind, timely, fun, professional and all around just such a perfect addition to the day. I’d highly recommend to anyone.

Wow and thank you! From the day I contacted Once Upon a Wish to the party, I have been exceptionally impressed so I just had to write a review. Jess went above and beyond to ensure the needs of my SEN daughter were going to be able to be accommodated for. She even gave a breakdown of the party, step by step , to share with her the evening before. On the day the lovely Freya arrived, Mae the Mermaid, a whole 15 minutes early and from the moment we opened the door she was incredible. She captured the attention of the girls within seconds and they were all hooked. The party ran smoothly and nothing we asked was too much - she was happy to adapt as and when the birthday girl wished (including a conga!) This was hands down the best birthday event my daughter has ever had and we will definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much. One incredibly happy 6 year old!

My daughter and I attended the Pumpkins and Pixie Dust event at Tonbridge Castle on Wednesday and I was blown away by how fabulous it was. The castle space was used brilliantly with immersive theatre at every turn, my daughter and her friend were 100% committed and involved with the storytelling! As always, all cast members were fantastic and interacted magically with the children. Such an unusual and unique event. I’m so glad we went, it was worth every penny. Thank you Once Upon A Wish for bringing the magic.

Where do I start with Winters Barns?! I absolutely love everything about this place! The barns themselves are rustic and perfect for any couple looking for a countryside wedding. The gardens and fields surrounding the venue make the perfect setting for couple time. Not forgetting all the lovely staff! They make the day run so smoothly and they are just the kindest people. We had the pleasure of getting married here mid May and we had the most perfect day! We cannot recommend Winters Barns enough. From the first time we viewed the venue we fell in love with it, all members of staff are so friendly and every little detail has been thought about. The layout of the venue is brilliant, giving everyone with different wants a space, plenty of seating outside, tables for dinner in their own room, sofas by the bar which is right next to the evening reception room meaning everything flowed brilliantly without people getting lost in the space. Through the whole process we were kept up to date and had regular communication. The team answers all my emails and questions promptly and a massive thank you goes to Sophie our wedding coordinator who was absolutely fantastic and faultless! Everything was so organised ahead of the day which was brilliant peace of mind for us. On the day everything ran so smoothly with nothing being too much for the team to do. We had several comments from guests about how brilliant the venue and staff were. They helped set up the space and ensured everything was packed away at the end of the night ready for us to take away from the store room the next day. The accommodation is lovely, as was breakfast the next day (to make perfect it would be nice if a fried breakfast could be served but this may be a caters decision). We honestly cannot recommend Winters Barns enough!

Went to my nieces wedding. The setting was beautiful. Everything in one place the ceremony, which, luckily, the weather was kind to us, and they could exchange their vows outside. The 3 couse wedding breakfast was tasty, the evening fish and chips or burger and chips was a welcomed alternative to a buffet. The service and attention to detail spot on. Would recommend 👌

We got married here in March and it was the most amazing wedding! The team here are just incredible from the minute we booked to the very end of the party they were so helpful and really nice to work with. They made planning the wedding so easy. The food is incredible and the drinks are reasonably priced. Every single one of our guests told us how incredible the venue was. Plus there is accommodation on site for yourselves and a handful of your wedding party which is another plus. Shoutout to our coordinator Chloe who was lovely! Best day ever!

Myself and my husband married at the Old Kent Barn in October and had the best day of our lives. The staff were amazing throughout the whole process from securing a date all the way to end day after the big day. Our wedding coordinator in particular Claire was just amazing and so helpful and resourceful. As well as all this the venue was stunning everywhere you look! We would highly recommend the venue to anyone!
