The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

Charlotte was just incredible from start to finish helping us on our wedding day. In the build up to the ‘big day’ she provided us with so many helpful tips that we hadn’t yet thought of and dealt with all our suppliers so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On our actual day Charlotte was a superstar and ensured we could relax in full confidence not worrying about a thing. Any hiccups were sorted within moments and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to run our day. Charlotte is not only a professional, keeping everyone and everything running smoothly, but a lovely person who was a joy to have with us on the day. We could not have had our day without her support. Everyone needs a Charlotte for their wedding! Thank you again for helping to make it so special for us.

I don’t even know where to start in saying thank you to Charlotte and her team for helping us on our wedding day. From start to finish, Charlotte made sure every single detail was checked and looked after. Throughout the whole build up, she was reassuring and positive - putting us totally at ease. On the day, she ensured everything was set up to the highest quality and that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. There is no way we could of had our day run without a glitch without Charlotte and her team! I cannot thank her or recommend highly enough!

Where do I start with Winters Barns?! I absolutely love everything about this place! The barns themselves are rustic and perfect for any couple looking for a countryside wedding. The gardens and fields surrounding the venue make the perfect setting for couple time. Not forgetting all the lovely staff! They make the day run so smoothly and they are just the kindest people. My wedding was wonderful and better than we could have imagined. Sally our wedding coordinator did everything in her power to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted. All of the team, admin, bar staff, cleaners, gardeners, coordinators, literally everyone in the team are awesome and I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much for all you did for us! We had the pleasure of getting married here mid May and we had the most perfect day! We cannot recommend Winters Barns enough. From the first time we viewed the venue we fell in love with it, all members of staff are so friendly and every little detail has been thought about. The layout of the venue is brilliant, giving everyone with different wants a space, plenty of seating outside, tables for dinner in their own room, sofas by the bar which is right next to the evening reception room meaning everything flowed brilliantly without people getting lost in the space. Through the whole process we were kept up to date and had regular communication. The team answers all my emails and questions promptly and a massive thank you goes to Sophie our wedding coordinator who was absolutely fantastic and faultless! Everything was so organised ahead of the day which was brilliant peace of mind for us. On the day everything ran so smoothly with nothing being too much for the team to do. We had several comments from guests about how brilliant the venue and staff were. They helped set up the space and ensured everything was packed away at the end of the night ready for us to take away from the store room the next day. The accommodation is lovely, as was breakfast the next day (to make perfect it would be nice if a fried breakfast could be served but this may be a caters decision). We honestly cannot recommend Winters Barns enough!

From the moment we walked in for the viewing, we knew Winters Barns was the venue for us. We can’t thank all the staff enough. We booked in 2022 and got married in 2024, and the communication during this time was amazing. All the staff were so kind, and helpful. The perfect dream team! A perfect addition to our day. KC Weddings supplied the chiavari chairs for our wedding at Lympne Castle in April 2023. They were absolutely brilliant. We needed the chairs to be moved after the ceremony from the ceremony hall to the main hall and they were able to accomodate this without any problem. Arranging the details with KC was super easy and stress free and the chairs looked beautiful. I would highly recommend KC for any event. Thank you Team for adding your magic to our special day.

there was a slight problem with some of the flowers we asked for. When checking how things were going the morning of our wedding they were setting up some of the rose Garlands and it was full of white flowers which I did not ask for they said they would do their best to cover up the white flowers .i explained i never asked for them in the first place, you could not see the white flowers in the end but there were other red flowers in the mix which I did not want we asked only for roses which was in the paperwork this added unnecessary worry on my wedding day.

The Night Yard was great choice for our wedding!!! The venue and staff were both excellent and accommodating. The venue has everything you need in it and makes it more intimate as everything is in one place but gives you room to move around. The staff, especially Kerry was excellent and gave us all the support we needed and more. I have left more of my views below – if you are considering getting married you should have a look. The wedding was of course great, but let me tell you about: THE VENUE Glasshouse - Really nice venue which matched everything we hoped for. It has a big glasshouse which is where our ceremony and wedding breakfast was held, it is large enough to cater for everyone and still have space for a DJ. Courtyard - It has a nice outside garden / courtyard where ceremonies can take place too, this is a big open space that latches on to the main glasshouse which means all your guests are in the same area (which means no wandering off guests). The kids loved the courtyard and played outside for lots of the time. The staff even put out games to entertain them (and adults too). Parking - lots of parking and you can leave your car overnight. Lockers – They also provide you with access to big lockers to store things in a couple days before which does help – we didn’t need to but it is useful to have. THE STAFF This was the other main reason we chose The Night Yard. On our first viewing of the venue Kerry was great and you can tell really loved her job, she explained everything and walked us around the venue and left no doubt in our mind that the staff really love to help. After we paid a deposit we harassed Kerry quite a lot and she was always happy to help, we went back to venue 2 or 3 times and she was very accommodating and supportive and gave lots of good advice. Honestly Kerry was great and she made everything so much easier. We would message or call her for queries regarding table clothes, and table layouts etc and she didn’t mind at all. The other staff were great too, Pip in particular who handled the drinks package was really nice and helped too. Unfortunately, Kerry wasn’t there to facilitate on the wedding day but we had Pip who performed well and made sure everything ran smoothly. All the other staff we came across were great too. They’re very accommodating, you can even bring pets. No problems at all with the staff. And Kerry went above and beyond. PACKAGES Food / Catering – our catering was actually really good and the food was really nice, but only bad side for me was the lack of choice for the caterers. The Night Yard have a selection from a few caterers to use which fits into your package but for us some wasn’t available on the day and we had a choice between only 2. It did work out well but I think they should have a larger choice (but then I suppose its what makes them good because they know their suppliers etc). External Caterers – you can bring your own external caterers in, but they will charge £500 to do this, however that option isn’t that bad if you have your own preferences as most caterers are very expensive (ours was!). OVERALL I 100% am happy with the venue and the service, the wedding was great and I had no issues or problems at all.

We were recommended to Ethereal Events by word of mouth. From the moment Georgie walked through our door we had every confidence she would organise, manage and deliver the most incredible party and sure enough she did. Her attention to detail is second to none. She is a great listener - her ability to pick up on our needs and style, knowing them even before we did. So often I asked her about something and it had all been sorted without us being involved. She evidently really cares about delivering an excellent service. Her network of contractors who helped physically create the party were second to none. All delivered on time without any fuss. They just got on with the job. We really enjoyed working with Georgie - she made it fun, taking all the stress away and just allowing us to enjoy the run up to the party and relax once it was over. Our party was everything we could have wished for and more. We couldn't recommend her highly enough. Georgie is a consummate professional with whom we look forward to working again in the future.

Jane and Keith provided considerable support at the wedding of our daughter on 16 July 2022. As it was a three-day event at our house with 210 guests, there was a great deal to do. We did not employ a wedding planner and so Jane and Keith had to co-ordinate the various providers over the three days. This involved the caterers, catering implement suppliers, the suppliers of the extensive lighting for the grounds, security, photographer, band, DJ, portaloos, pre-arranged transport at the end of the evening, event timings and so on. It was a big job and they worked tirelessly, understood what was involved and were calm and energetic. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and indeed would certainly look to employ their services again.

We got married at Goodnestone on 3 June 2023. We had the most perfect day thank you to the venue itself, Ronnie (the house manager) and The Wedding Dolls (the day coordinators who come with the wedding package). The grounds themselves are absolutely stunning. The house is a perfect venue to enjoy the weekend with loved ones and to get ready. There are multiple options on ceremony location and the new Orangery is beautiful. We started the weekend with a BBQ for those staying at the house (cooked by our caterer Olivia at Just One Cook), had a fantastic wedding on the Saturday and made the most of Ronnie’s services for a cooked breakfast on the Sunday. The venue itself was incredible, but made all the more special by the fantastic service we received across the weekend. We couldn’t have wished for anymore! Thank you!

What a stunning house! I recently stayed here with a group of 12 of us and it was perfect! We were welcomed by Ronnie the house manager as given a tour of the house and its history. Every room has been so lovingly renovated and is such a delight to stay in. Super comfortable beds and gorgeous bathrooms in every room! We had a fabulous dinner in the dining room, and the whole team took care of us so well! The house is lovely and warm, has stunning views from every window, a Sonos system and large wine cooler making for those amazing added touches. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Goodnestone House is an outstanding venue for the quintessential English wedding, with a beautiful village church just a short walk away through idyllic gardens. Our weekend stay with houseguests for a family wedding in October was glorious from beginning to end. With their recommended suppliers, including the Wedding Dolls, we had a magical wedding with literally no stress, just joy and laughter, with everything taken care of by the Wedding Dolls and Ronnie (House Manager) and his team. A few guests said it was like attending a Hugh Grant wedding 😂💕 the setting and detailing were so beautiful. The not-so secret star of the show is Ronnie, as well as Judith and their amazing house team - our bridal dinner on Friday night was simply superb, with a menu curated and cooked by Ronnie and Judith, and breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday were so good no-one wanted to leave! Ronnie is a master of how hospitality should work. The house is gorgeous, and supremely comfortable, and we were made to feel incredibly welcome, and encouraged to run things as we wished. I only wish we could do it all over again.

We recently had Princess Belle visit our home, and it was an enchanting experience from start to finish. She was exceptionally professional, captivating the kids with her grace and charm. Her singing was beautiful and brought so much joy to the event. The girls absolutely adored her and were mesmerised by her presence. We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our celebration. I sincerely enjoyed photographing a wedding at Wilderness in the summer of 2023. The team at Wilderness were incredibly friendly & helpful - I honestly couldn't fault them. The day ran superbly which is all a fellow wedding supplier could hope for! The venue's team were supportive, attentive and well-informed about the couple's plans/expectations which, ultimately, helped keep the day's events on track and everything running smoothly. Wilderness is a beautiful outdoor venue - perfect for couples looking for a wedding venue surrounded by trees, nature and woodland.

For lovers of the outdoors, this has to be one of the coolest Kent venues for a wedding! Being a wedding photographer and lover of the outdoors myself, there's little better than having so much nature/space to tell such amazing wedding stories. Having all the guests walk through the meadows from the ceremony at the Boathouse to enjoying food under a serene woodland canopy is just such a joy to shoot! Also, keep an eye out for those amazing golden hours you get spoiled with in the meadow! Always adore coming back here to photograph!

My husband and I got married 1st August 2024 and the day was truly unforgettable. We loved all of the pictures online on their website and couldn’t wait to book a viewing as soon as possible. As soon as we got to wilderness we fell in love with the venue and knew this was the one for us! The beautiful countryside setting was exactly what we were looking for. All of the staff were so helpful throughout the entire planning process, everyone is so friendly! Any questions we had they answered quickly and efficiently either via a quick phone call or email and made the whole process as easy and enjoyable as it could have been. Excel spread sheets are also sent to you to help plan everything as much as you like along with recommendations of other suppliers. We had a final planning meeting to finalise all the details as well as the day before our wedding we were able to go and set up everything and get ready with plenty of time. Once again the staff were all there the day before to help with anything we needed and to go over any final questions and details which made us feel so relaxed and ready for the big day! Our wedding day ran without fault and this is all due to the impeccable team all trying their best to make your day run smoothly. We cannot thank everyone at wilderness weddings enough for making our wedding day the best as it could have been and we will remember and treasure the beautiful memories forever. Hired for our wedding at Reach Court Farm on 26/05/24. Food was absolutely exceptional, incredible value and served BBQ style to give guests a range of options. Catering staff very immensely attentive and helpful; we really appreciated all the effort they gave to help on our big day. Hugh and the team took all the organisation off our hands, all we needed to give were guest numbers and allergies, all in all it made for an incredibly relaxing wedding to organise for us, and a perfect experience on the day.

Hugh and his team catered for our wedding in May 2023. We opted for a BBQ buffet which came with 5 delicious salads, followed by some delightful puddings options. The food perfectly fit the day and our venue and we have receieved lots of compliments about it. Hugh was great at responding to any questions and concerns we had and his laid back approach put us at ease. The team there on the day were really excellent and seemed intent that everyone had what they needed. Highly recommend and thank you Blackbird Caterers.

We hired Blackbird Catering for our wedding and they were fantastic from start to finish. Hugh provided amazing communication throughout with the multiple questions we had to ask him and the running on the day was amazing. From canapés, a BBQ and a pizza oven, everything was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made sure we both got a bit of everything. If you are looking for someone to cater your wedding, we would highly recommend. Big thank you!
