Perfect wedding day. We had the most wonderful wedding day. Communication was brilliant and made planning great, Erin was the most fantastic coordinator, we can’t thank her enough. We had the most incredible day. The in house catering is excellent and they are flexible in what they cook. The chef made some excellent Nigerian dishes.

We found salomons estate online while trying to find somewhere cheap to spend the night in the Kent countryside, and oh boy, are we glad we found this place. It has got so much history here and its all proudly displayed in pictures dotted around the manor. Then, there's a museum, showcasing the very best artifacts from the history of the family, and all their amazing achievements. We stayed on a cold February day and the whole place was heated to a comfortable cosy level, with log fire burning away in the lounge where we enjoyed a few drinks in the evening. In the morning we had a delicious full English breakfast in the restaurant, which was very well stocked. With a great choice. The accommodation is not the most luxurious but it was spotlessly clean, with fresh gleaming white towels and bedding. Plus the shower was lovely and hot. I would highly recommend requesting an upstairs room, as we could hear creaking from above when neighbours were moving about in their rooms. We will definitely be back, probably with more family members next time and hopefully we can rent a cottage instead. I'm already looking forward to better weather so we can come back and have a really long walk around the grounds and lakes, as it was a bit muddy in mid Feb to enjoy it to its fullest. Now to the staff...... They were obviously selected from the very best that Kent has to offer. They were ALL very friendly, smiley and helpful, taking time to tell us some of the history of the manor. One of them even allowed me in to view the big hall, late in the evening. Which was beautiful. There's such an amazing energy in there. So would make the most perfect place to get married. Hands down, this was the best find we've had, and I can't wait to go back in better weather so I can have a nice refreshing drink on the patio overlooking the beautiful scenery and lakes.

What can I say about the fabulous Salomons Estate! It was my pleasure to lead another wedding there yesterday, on New Year's Eve! The wedding was held in the gorgeous Gold Room and with the wedding colours of forest green and gold, it was perfect. Salomons is such a beautiful venue whichever ceremony spave you choose. Being a Celebrant, in my work I get to lead weddings in all sorts of places and Salomons Estate is truly an exceptional venue. An added bonus, f you like your history, then Salomons is steaped in it! It even had its own museum, amazing. Wedding Coordinator Leah and the team were brilliant and so friendly, on top of everything. It was just perfect! I would highly recommend the Salomons Estate for any celebration, but absolutely for a magical wedding.

I photographed a wedding here recently. The venue is really beautiful, with loads of lovely spaces for photography. The staff were so helpful and kept the day running really smoothly - so essential for wedding days. Even when timings or plans were altered at the last minute, they stayed calm and kept everything smooth. Shout to Leah and the team for making the day so memorable.

Amazing value for money. We took our young kids and loved the fairy trail which takes your around the picturesque grounds. Don’t expect a high quality room, you get what you are paying for, a practical, safe and economic room, what I would go back for is the old majestic buildings and the landscape, the breakfast was good too and service impeccable.
