Great afternoon cream tea. Rear garden a real sun trap with pretty flowers. Scones very light with ample jam and clotted cream. Staff lovely. A real treasure - highly recommended.
Had a toasted tuna panini and it came with crisps and salad, my partner had a tuna mayonnaise jacket potato that came with slaw and salad.
Service was great and fast, friendly staff. Prices were good and so was the food. Nice atmosphere would defo recommend as a brunch spot!
This is one of the best tea rooms I visited in Dorset. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere - all the staff are lovely.
We had lunch, and my sausage and onion quiche dish was very generous, freshly cooked, and arrived quickly. Our waiter was superb.
Would definitely go back to have more of the dishes from the menu.
I was interested to try their savory cream tea. I was a bit worried about how it would taste as I don't like onions that much. But, it was the best decision as I absolutely loved the onion chutney.
Though it was almost crowded, I found a nice secluded spot to enjoy this delicious meal. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Wareham.
The rain had driven us away from the coast, inland, in search of quiche.
It was indeed a "long dark highway and a thin white line" that led us dripping through the welcoming door of the Garden Gate Tea Room.
Broad smiles and a green trouser suit greated us, what more could one ask for.
The food, delicious, as was the conversation with the wonderfully friendly staff.
Return? I certainly hope too.
