Truly, I can not recommend Plunketts enough. I've got 5 pets registered with Plunketts and am in there a lot, due to different health issues and the fact that my dog has a death wish and desire to eat anything possible. Every member of staff that we've dealt with has been incredible. The reception team are some of our absolute favourite people, they feel like friends at this point, always so friendly and understanding. We always end up laughing, even if it's a stressful appointment. Special shout out to Lauren, who has always gone above and beyond to help with stuff. The vets and nurses, particularly Hara and Flick, are really knowledgeable and patient (particularly when I cry at them 🤦🏻‍♀️). I'm really over attached to my dog, Dave, and the fact that I trust them hugely with him, speaks volumes. Dave also adores going to the vets, which is entirely due to the people there......and the treats! Huge thanks to the whole team. We will be back in soon, no doubt 🤣

My late dad’s cat Tommy I’m caring for had a huge, sudden abscess appear on his face one weekend in April. By Monday morning, he was in sedation, ready to have it drained and treated and antibiotics prescribed. After first phone contact on the Saturday with a kind and sympathetic receptionist Gulfem, we were met by helpful reception staff in a pleasant waiting area (separate areas for cats & dogs with their own respective murals) followed by a proper chat (no rushing) with Sandra & Jamie before & after treatment. The whole team at this practice showed Tommy care & compassion throughout his ordeal (worse as he hates cat carriers, which trigger a nervous stress reaction in him making him seem hostile/untrusting when he is at heart an affectionate cat.) Micro-chipping was also carried out concurrently with his treatment. Anything I didn’t understand about costing was properly explained at reception before payment, the get well card & complimentary treats during the outgoing appointment were thoughtful, and Tommy is now hopefully on the mend. He is a senior cat at 13-14 yrs, but I’m hoping that he gets 4 or 5 more good ones to enjoy before the problems of old age set in. It is humbling to see our pets fragile & vulnerable in a strange new clinical environment, surrounded by the sights and sounds of other pets. We see them with new eyes in sickness, but also too our appreciation of them, and what their little lives contribute to our own. Damien Blackman, Ramsgate.

What a wonderful surgery. It felt very organised. I registered online yesterday and had an appointment this morning. I took my cat in and was welcomed at a well run reception with separate areas for Cats and Dogs. The receptionist talked me through the perks of joining the Pet Club and I signed up straight away (I did not receive a welcome pack, toys or treats, as mentioned by another reviewer, but I am still glad I joined). The visit with the nurse couldn't have gone better. Roxandra was very professional and thoroughly examined my kitty. She also clipped his nails and administered the 6 month worming treatment. We talked through his diet and habits and I left feeling like we were in good hands. All in all, this practice appears to be very professional and we are looking forward to being a part of the Plunkett family.

Took my 9 week old kitten for her first vaccinations and couldn't have had a better experience. Enrolled to the healthy pet club scheme and was given a welcome pack with a toys, treats, nutritional biscuits along with other bits. Our vet was gentle and made our kitten feel at ease. Couldn't recommend enough. Thank you.
