I've been with Gregg and his team for a while now, I have never found a vet that care as much as they do and give such a personalised service. When our old boy passed away last year they truly looked after us during a time of immense grief. I couldn't recommend them more!

Wonderful people.. They were very kind and patient with me for what was a very hard day saying goodbye to my long time friend. We felt cared for and well looked after. My 💖 was truly happy when I left. Also they sent me a card with her paw print as a keep sake. I could not recommend them enough they truly are lovely kind people.

I’ve been going to grove vets for nearly 30years with several dogs and they’ve always been very good with my doggletts ,good advice and good on the purse strings and always got your pets interests at heart ❤️

I would only ever take my babies to see Cameron at the cat clinic. From regular check ups to me probably being overly worried when they seem unwell-cameron is always so lovely and never makes us feel we are wasting his time. He has a very Conservative approach and never prescribes anything or sends for testing unless necessary. Unfortunately alot of vets are only interested in money. I never feel this is the case here. The ladies on reception are also incredible with their care, when one of my angels seemed very unwell last year Helen even called Cameron at home for some advice and sent us to the emergency vets, vets now in Portsmouth who were also very good. We've had numerous calls back and forth in the past. I get the impression everyone there loves their kitty customers and it's more than just a job to them. Cameron has a wealth of knowledge and he best never leave!! My two have had their injections, some medicines administered, and teeth cleaning. One had some minor surgery. They have been under anaesthetic and was taken care of by the lovely nurses, who I'm sure do alot behind the scenes! The costs at the cat clinic I would say are very fair. We do have insurance but have never needed to claim. If you have a cat rest assured they will be taken care of here! Sian&James

I’ve always been happy with the cat clinic, but especially appreciative of the care my cat Gaston has received over the past couple of weeks. Hanna has been so kind to both Gaston & myself. All staff genuinely love cats, which really shows.

Absolutely could not fault Waterlooville staff and the way they looked after my Westie Holly. She had a lump removed and they were very professional and caring towards Holly giving me aftercare advice . Holly was very happy and had been really looked after thank you !

Amazing as usual! Diesel had some dental Work and we had several calls to confirm each process and just to give us an update diesel was ok, which was much appreciated! Spared time to go through the cost and invoice which was very much appreciated. Been registered with them for over 9 years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Thank you for looking after diesel and taking good care of him as usual.

Great service, the Dutch vet is absolutely brilliant. He's honest,straight and trustworthy. No mess around to take a money off your pocket.Thank you sir. Won't go anywhere else now.

Lovely, friendly staff, my dog is a bit anxious so getting her injections and drops done can sometimes be quite a bit of a trial, however Anna was very patient and managed to get it done without too much hassle. Only thing we missed having done was a check on her teeth and claws just to make sure everything's ok as by the end of the appointment she was clinging onto me for dear life to escape!!

The kindest, cleanest and friendliest vets I've ever used. Lots of parking, well thought out waiting area and simple bits such as hooks to hang leads on when paying so your dog doesn't rip your arm off to leave when trying to count money etc 🤣. Staff are wonderful and the prices are average for veterinary services.

Amazingly compassionate. From the first phone call to the last goodbye, we were treated with empathy and understanding. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated their care and service.

Geoff of Purbrook Vets, is nothing less than awesome. He is the most caring, thoughtful person you could ever want to care for your pet. When our cat Radar died, Geoff sent us a condolence card and a paw print from Radar too, Geoff used to call him scrapper. We are now waiting for the day, our Dog Ruby, who has known Geoff all her life, has an operation on her leg. We trust the Doc wholeheartedly, and wouldn't take our pets to any other Vet. Not only is Geoff an amazing Vet, he is a very funny bloke along with it. Geoff even stitched up my Chickens neck after Ruby attacked her, Ruby was then known as the Chook killer by the Doc. Thank you for looking after our family Geoff, you're a Star. The newest addition to our Home is Thorn (pictured), a little Barrel of Monkeys. Of course, we won't trust any other Vet with our Pets. Thorn had his first Puppy check and Jabs, as Usual, Doc was awesome with him, told us Thorn has the Smarts. We have set up the Pet Plan now too, saves a lot of Money in the long run, but no pressure, we decided to do it off our own backs. No doubt, there will be many more visits to the Doc in the in years to come. We have every confidence in his work and his advise. Thanks again Doc. Another fantastic service from Purbrook vets. Made a call this morning as my Frankies ears were playing up and needed his cytopoint injection. Explained I didn't want him to be distressed over the weekend, they were pushed for appointments but said come in half an hour and we will see him. Can always trust Purbrook vets to take care of my boy 💙 Thank you so much 🙂

Very friendly staff, always welcoming and the veterinarians are amazing. Used this place for several years. They have been amazing during my dogs life. They were also very lovely when we had to put out dog to sleep. They sent a sympathy card too which was very much appreciated.

All of the staff here are genuine, lovely people who always have time to make a fuss of our boy, Kronk. We’ve been with The Vet - Portsmouth, since our boy was just 8 weeks old and I wouldn’t want to take him anywhere else. He’s a bit of a clumsy boy at times, so we have said hello a few times over the past year - every single time they’ve been really knowledgeable and understanding. We won’t be taking him anywhere else and we’re very lucky Kronk has such a good relationship with his vet! Highly recommend!

Great service at the Vet. We moved house further away and decided to stay with them due to our positive experiences here. I can always get an appointment when I need one, all the staff are really cheerful and helpful. My dog has been diagnosed with a heart condition and both times when she’s been really unwell the Vet has helped us out professionally and calmly during those stressful times! I think my dog must be one of very few animals that actually gets excited to go to the vet - which I think is testament to just how well they care for her. Thank you!

I would give 10+ stars, if possible. Took my dog there, as an emergency, she was seen immediately and had surgery. The staff went above and beyond. Thanks Petrina, the vet, for an amazing job, thanks to Frankie for her care and her grooming skills. Thanks to Emily for her calm and caring influence. To all all of you, we are so grateful ❤️

Great practice. Been here lots of times with my two rescue podencos, for routine and more urgent treatment, and always had excellent service and care. One of my dogs is very nervous and the vets always take their time to make him feel safe. This visit was for annual boosters and I had a really thorough consult with the vet on a range of issues. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. They were very efficient sorting a prescription for me to purchase online (and previously they've been very quick with insurance claims). Will keep going back!

Brilliant staff, incredibly helpful and managed to get us seen very quickly because of a cancellation. This new establishment is incredibly modern, air conditioned, and has plenty of parking. We’ve been here several times now and have zero complaints. The only issue is getting our puppy to leave as he loves the staff 😅 Please Note: Don’t follow the Google Maps direction. The vets is in Zone 2 of the ‘The Pompey Centre’, not Zone 1.

Where do I start….. My bunny very suddenly become sick and being new to the area, I hadn’t had the chance to get them registered anywhere. I gave them a call as soon as I noticed to ask for some advice and was told to bring her in straight away whilst they were able to register me over the phone. Got there about an hour later and was seen straight away. The vet(didn’t catch his name) noticed straight away that something wasn’t right and swiftly took her for oxygen and assessment. Unfortunately, the team were unable to provide a diagnosis as it seemed whatever was wrong was pretty complex but I was provided with multiple options on how I wished to go on. Sadly, my conkers was getting poorer by the minute on the table and we all agreed in her best interests, it was time for her to go to bunny heaven. My review may seem like a bit of a story but I just wanted to explain on how such a distressing situation for us, the team treated us and my bunny with such care and compassion compared to other vets i’ve experienced in the past. We weren’t treated like money paying customers but more of a member of their family which was a huge relief to us as this was our first pet we have had to go through this with and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. If you are doing your research or looking for a new vet then you need to come here! ❤️

I had my beautiful jack put to sleep there all the staff are so caring towards me and my dog I was in bits and they kept reassuring me that they will take care of him and he is safe they went above and beyond. THANK YOU.

Debbie on front desk is always really helpful nothing is too much trouble, always lots of appts available and ample parking, seen several vets here and they have all been really nice and helpful.

My partner and I Have been a loyal customers for many years, from our previous collies patch and poppy. To our two newest additions Sky and Chase (also collies). Both dogs are members of the healthy pet club. Which is great value for money. Friendly staff, who are caring of the animals and have great advice for owners. Great veterinary practice.

Had appointment for 2 cats, couldnt get one in basket.vet was very understanding. Suggested we give him a sedative before next appointment. All staff so friendly.

You went out of your way to make our appointment as stress free as possible and we really appreciate how flexible and kind you were.

Another successful operation here and this time for teddy. The staff are amazing and from the first consultation to finishing the operation was less than 24 hours. Thanks team and thanks for all you do to look after our boys.

Lovely staff, all very caring and kind to the animals and the owners. It’s a big practice but it feels small and friendly. Recommend them unreservedly.

We have been using this vets for just over 2 years, and have two XL bullies and a bull herder x. One of our XL's is scared of needles after his neutering operation, and the practice are trying to help him by letting him come in to visit the staff and be more at ease as he was really anxious and layed on the floor whining/crying. The staff have always gone above and beyond with our dogs and the reception staff always come up to give them a stroke/cuddle. The vets and nurses have always been great too.

Our female kitten, Nova, was spayed a little while ago and I'm very happy with the treatment and care she received. Good price, especially with being on the healthy pet club. The vets and veterinary nurses were lovely and Nova seems happy with them, cuddling them and purring. She was given sensitive tummy food, painkiller and a onesie to stop her licking the wound. A couple of days later she had a check up and the vet was lovely, giving her a cuddle and was really gentle. Having four cats I've used them as a vet for over ten years and top quality treatment every time. A couple of years ago one of my other cats, Cicero, was very unwell and I phoned as soon as the vets opened and I was given an appointment for straight away. The vet saw him and was really kind to me because I thought he was going to die he was so sick. They treated him and he improved so quickly I could take him home that evening and within 24 hours it was like he'd never been ill. Fantastic vets, easy to get to and lovely staff.
