From the moment of arrival, to saying goodbye, Thompson house are professional, friendly and real horse people. The horses in their care are top priority and everywhere is immaculate and they accommodate every horse. When you walk into the stable block it’s very calm and relaxed. The stables are also beautiful! They go above and beyond and have even sourced in my horses usual feed when he had an unexpected overnight stay to ensure his belly stayed happy. Whatever time of the day we land all the beds are immaculate and all the horses are happy-special thank you to Hannah and Laura for looking after my pony Bobby whilst he’s in, I never have worry about his care whilst in their hands. They have excellent facilities including a lovely indoor for the rainy days and even have a cafe attached for a super breakfast!! The receptionists are incredible. Whatever time of day, they are extremely patient and are very good at communicating what is going on/updates with your horse to give you piece of mind and comfort. Bradley has communicated with my insurance provider (Petplan) on behalf of me nothing has been too much trouble for him. He has answered many questions regarding how the insurance works and which forms I need to fill out. Tracey has also organised days with the farrier to come in and work with the vets so everybody is on the same page. The work up’s/diagnostic information done with my horse Bobby has been very practical and efficient and I feel throughout the process Rob has been realistic and has given me a good management plan and guidance. He has lots of time for his clients and answers my list of a million questions even though he is a very busy man! He works beyond the office hours and has even sent emails at midnight of X-rays/scans. He is completely committed to the practice and a vet who truly cares. The farrier and Thompson House work as a team regarding Bobby’s shoeing and have discussed what could be improved/X-rays ect. We have also attended multiple of the PK clinic days which we feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to have 2 very experienced sets of eyes! I recommended Thompson House Equine Vets to all of my friends as I truly believe there is no better practice. There is nothing I could fault or pick at. If only everybody was lucky enough to have a vet practice like Thompson House. Thank you Rob and the team.❤️

Cannot recommend Rob and the team at Thompson House Vets enough! An amazing service from start to finish. Every horse is treated with the highest level of love and care and the team go above and beyond to ensure you and your horse leave feeling 100% reassured and happy and will take there time to explain every finer detail in a way that you understand and are kept in the loop with everything. I have been with Thompson House since they very first started, and cannot put into words how amazing Rob and the team are. Every single person goes above and beyond for myself and my horses. Both Bradley and Tracey on reception are polite and professional, but also have every single horses best interest at heart. Brad even loads my mare on the box for my mum who is nervous (and small!) when I am not able to attend and is just a genuinely amazing person inside and out. Rob, Gen and Tommy are outstanding in every aspect of their profession, and I would recommend them to anyone who asked and can’t thank them enough for their support.
