We have had a leaking dormer in our attic for more years than I would like to mention and felt it was about time some positive action was taken in regard to getting it repaired, or removed and the roof to be re-instated to its original form. We asked six companies in total to come and give us a quote for the work we wanted carrying out. So, why did we choose BPR Roofing, and were we happy that we had chosen this company? BPR Roofing whilst not the cheapest quote, seemed to know exactly what they were talking about in regard to what was the more sensible option for our roof. It’s like they ‘eat, sleep and breath’ roofing work. When they came to assess the work, the ladders were off the lorry within seconds of them parking up so that they could check the job from outside as well as inside. It was like second nature to them. We chose BPR Roofing because they came across really well, and we trusted that the work would be completed to a high standard. We had read several reviews from differing happy customers and liked what we had read. The work was started within a month of us requesting a quote from them and took just under a week to complete. The team on site were courteous, got on with the job, and were respectful of our property. When leaving the job for the day, they made sure that the roof had a waterproof covering in case the British weather took a turn for the worse. At the end of each day the work site was left clear and tidy. Unfortunately, one of the team, whilst in our attic space, slipped and his foot went through our bedroom ceiling. He came to let us know immediately what had happened but wanted us to be assured that this would be rectified at no cost to us. I am pleased to confirm that the ceiling has been repaired back to its former glory and at no cost to us. You don’t get that ending when someone bumps your car! Whilst on the roof, one of the team noticed that several of our ridge tiles just out of the area they were working on, were in need of some attention. We were informed of this and were asked if we wanted them sorting while the scaffolding was still up. Now some might say “Oh, yeah, pull the other one”, but we had been told by a different roofing company (who never arrived to start agreed work last year) that the ridge tiles needed some attention so knew this was not anyone trying to ‘pull a fast one’. We agreed to the extra bit of work and have actually saved the cost of having to have scaffolding put up at a later date. The only ‘negative’ that we have is that the team never said “Goodbye, we’ll see you in the morning” as they finished for the day. If we spoke to them, they would answer and if they needed us they would knock on the door, but it would have been nice not having to presume they had gone just because it had gone quiet and the vans had gone. So, are we pleased with the finished job and would we recommend/employ BPR Roofing again? After many years of needing the dormer sorting it was a bit of an anti-climax when the roof had finally been re-instated, and now with a velux window proudly sitting on the roof line. We are very pleased with the work and the recent downpour of rain (Thur 1st Aug 2024) proves we no longer have a leaking roof and can put away the buckets. We would definitely recommend and/or employ this company again, but hopefully not for the same bit of roof for a long while, and Richard might regret telling me that he has many other trades on speed dial and to contact him if we want the name of a reputable plumber, brickie, joiner etc. Keep up the good work BPR Roofing and best wishes for your future, Julie and Andy

What an absolutely fabulous job... main roof, flat roof, new door and window in the garage along with new fascia and pointing have made an amazing difference to the house. BPR It was time that our home needed a new roof and knowing that it was going to be large financial outlay we knew we needed a professional outfit to do the job. So we contacted BPR roofing and "professional " is what we got. The first call you make, you will more than likely get Richard (MD) what a guy, knowledgeable, honest and knowing that you are making a large financial commitment to your home also considerate. So finances and date arranged the workers, give a mention to them all Allan, Sam, Paul, Keegan, Sonny & Ollie came,arriving for 8 every morning and leaving about 4.30 ensuring that your house is weatherproof until the following morning. As a 110 year old house there were challenges to be faced but were dealt with both expertly and professionally. On completion very satisfied with our new roof.
