Repair damage to soffit boards and fascia. “Jamie was happy to come round in the evening to look at the job, and able to fit me in before the end of the week. He offered to repair the existing rather than replace it and did not try to insist that the more expensive work was required. He did the job when he said he would, let me know when it was done and left it tidy. I had asked him to let me know if, during the repair he saw anything further which needed doing. I meant to leave this review a couple of years ago. We had had a leaking lantern (skylight) in our flat roof. The lantern had been fitted too close to a gable end by the original builder. Access was difficult and the water run off made sealing it properly almost impossible. We called Jamie in when the only viable alternative was to get rid of the lantern altogether. Other roofers had said it was impossible to fix in its current position. He fixed it by custom building some guttering to channel the water run off from the lantern and resealed the whole area. He did this in October 2021. I delayed reviewing it until we were sure. Since then, we've had literal torrents of rain on many occasions and haven't had another issue with leaking. Jamie did a first class job, that others had said couldn't be done.

We have engaged with A Wilson Roofing to have all our roofs and skylights redone and insulated (including front tiled pitched roof and 3 flat roofs at the back with Alwitra membrane). From the beginning it has been a professional and reassuring experience. They work hard and smart, always on time. They deliver what they promise. They are personable, tidy and reasonable. The end result has been spotless and to the standards we were promised, very high. They were not cheap but we were looking for a serious, reliable and top quality roofing company. Professional, friendly and trustworthy family run roofing company. Danny a detailed quote within 48 and explained repairs needed. Once instructed, we were given clear start dates and kept informed of progress throughout. They were on time, polite to both us and our neighbours and really grafted to keep the job moving in good time. Great care and attention were given to this project from start to finish. Replacing the non-standard skylights presented several challenges. Dean consistently opted for a higher quality, perfectionist approach rather than taking easier shortcuts. He and his team clearly have extensive experience with various roof constructions and are adept in both interior and exterior work. The result is a set of skylights that are securely fitted and look fantastic. The seamless integration with the original upstands is truly impressive.

I really cannot recommend Dean and the team highly enough. Dean originally came to give us a quote to install Velux windows in a bedroom and the kitchen. These were installed quickly and efficiently and the rooms were left clean and clear at the end of the day. Over and above the original work, Dean also sorted out a condensation issue in the kitchen and fixed a leaking flat roof! The workmanship was excellent, done to time and with a reasonable budget. Dean is clearly very knowledgeable in this area. He kept us informed all the way through about the issues and what he could do to help the situation and gave us options. I required an urgent refit for a dislodged roof tile and contacted Crownex. Jed responded, provided a fixed price quote and visited within the hour.
