I had a leak in my roof causing water ingress in several places. John came out and assessed the problem the same day and gave me a quote on the spot. He was very reassuring and within a couple of days, a member of his team came out and resolved the issue. Photographs and a clear explanation of the work carried out were provided. I have additional issues with my guttering, roof and chimney stack and will definitely be using Broadstairs Roofing again. They are trustworthy, reliable, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

The team at Broadstairs Roofing replaced our house and shed roof. They advised on materials and problem resolution. They replaced, improved and simplified the previous unsightly guttering. Leadwork looks great and our shed has a renewed lease of life. The result is a sleeker, sharper, more contemporary look for our 1980’s house.

We had a one ridge tile and the whole column of tiles below it replaced on the very edge of our end of terraced house. I approached Broadstairs roofing for a quote, John called me back within 24 hours to discuss my roofing problem, as per the website, and came round within the next few day to provide a quote. The work was then programed in within the next few weeks. The work was completed with no issues and everything was cleaned up after, the end result looks great. John was very approachable and customer focused, really taking the time to discuss the approach to the replacement of the roof tiles ensuring I was happy every step of the way. John was quick to provide a quote.Materials,skip and scaffold all in place by an agreed start date. The team of workers are a credit to him.They arrived on time were courteous and polite.Soon set about their task and in no time had all roof tiles,baton and old roof felt removed. New felt and batons were quickly installed along with the flashing and tiling. All done within a day ahead of schedule.A good job,well done.

I called Affordable Roofing and call was answered and was told somebody would be round to quote, i got a courtesy call back to let me know someone would be with me within 30 minutes to quote, withing 90 minutes i had the quote which was very reasonable and they were able to repair the ridge tile on same visit. Tom was recommended to me and everything you want from a tradesman. Tom came round to survey the job on a Sunday and quoted via email and not just verbally. Easily contactable and even more importantly Tom contacted me regularly with arrangements for scaffolding and updates on the repair date, due to the awful weather. The work itself was done to a good standard and I would definitely recommend Tom and will defiantly use him again.

While Tommy was completing a roof repair for a neighbour I asked if he did fascias, he was quick to confirm he did and when he finished came and checked what I needed. How refreshing to deal with somebody who is more concerned with doing a quality job rather than how much he can make out of it. Very professional. Good communication and work carried out quickly and efficiently. I had all felt and battens replaced as badly needed renewing. All tiles removed, cleaned and put back into place. All rubbish cleared and site left clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending them or using this company in the future.

Luke responded to the job request on Checkatrade promptly, gave me a quote and carried out the work the next day. They arrived on time and were quick and efficient, and charged less than quoted because when he got up on the roof found one bit of work wasn’t required. We will definitely use Luke and his team again, finding an honest and reliable roofer is great, will be recommending them to others.

Kevin and the team recently completed some remedial work to our roof including replacing damaged and mismatched tiles, repointing chimney flashing, re-bedding loose ridge tiles, and grinding out and repointing the remaining ridge tiles. Roof looks great, and they made a good job of tidying the gutters and clearing all the rubbish.

A terrific company to do business with. Our roof was properly failing and had come to the end of its life having been put on in 1901. They quoted in writing very quickly , were very competitive on price including VAT and offered a 10 year guarantee. They turned up on the first day without any fuss or drama . We are so happy with the outcome on our Edwardian house. The roof was completely replaced as was the flat roof to the rear. David and Ralph were punctual and present each day as agreed and only when bad weather intervened did they take a break. This they did over Whatsapp and email so all very transparent . They also arranged and liaised with scaffolders and other contractors who used the scaffolding to access the high parts of the house that needed a bit of attention. They improved our chimney stacks , finials and guttering as part of a complete makeover as well as sorting out the council required notification/sign off . I was happy to receive great advice and information about our new roof. All in all as painless as it could have been and we felt like important and valued customers. Awesome.. Highly recommended

A fantastic local business like ourselves who have completed works on a number of our properties and long-term rentals, a rapid response service. They have recently purchased a cherry picker and this has come in very useful on our tall buildings. The building I have attached a picture of you can clearly see we cannot easily have scaffolding so the new cherry picker does the job fantastically only having to block the road for a few minutes saving valuable time and money.
