I had an online video call with Daniel to go through the specification he had made regarding tanking a basement room in a Victorian block, which is suffering water ingress. Daniel was careful to thoroughly take me through the specification, heading by heading and made sure that I fully understood the work to be undertaken and the reasons for it. He was extremely patient, clearly explained the technical detail and answered all my questions. The meeting ended with me being absolutely secure about the detail of the work to be undertaken. Furthermore, as the external work falls within the remit of the whole block I had to share the specification with the block manager who checked it as well. The feedback was that the specification was clearly written, logical and well priced.
