I am very pleased with the work that obsidian Roofing has completed on my Mother’s house. The workers explained in detail what they recommended, backed up with videos & commentary making it easy to understand. They turned up on time and were pleasant & professional. I came to know of obsidian Roofing Ltd through recommendation by a solicitor neighbour after I was let down by another roofing contractor. obsidian were professional and reliable throughout. This contractor produces videos and photos to demonstrate what work has been done or needs to be done because many people cannot go up on a roof to check! I have since used obsidian Roofing 3 times to replace tiles, repair valleys, rebuild the verge and lay felt a flat roof. I have seen from obsidian Roofing how roof work should be done and what others have done wrong! obsidian saved me money with free advice enabling me to do some work myself even though I offered to pay them to do it!

First used Obsidian Roofing in October 2024 for our son’s new roof which they did excellently. So there was no need to consider another company to do our house roof repairs. He quoted fairly for what was supposed to be a minor repair but unfortunately when he started taking off the tiles he found the felt was all rotten and the wood batons were rotten too. We ended up having new membrane and batons for the whole roof. As we live in a conservation area we cannot replace the tiles without planning permission. So Naher managed to find reclamation tiles from a place in Scotland and we live in London but it was no trouble for him to sort it all out. We had been looking for spare tiles for years and no roofer could find any before. He and his team had a massive job on their hands but he organised it perfectly and did the job in 10 days. They worked so hard even using torches as it got dark early so that no rain would come in overnight. And to top it all they jet washed the drive and patio at no extra cost. I am very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him.

I was so grateful to have Sam & his team help us replace two Velux windows in our loft bedroom. These windows had been leaking for the past year whenever it was windy and rainy. Initially, the plan was just to replace the flashing, but Sam discovered that the wooden frames of the old windows were actually rotten. Not only did he secure great discounts on new windows and flashing for us, but he also identified rotten wooden battens underneath the tiles. He went above and beyond by replacing the damaged battens as well as some broken tiles, all at no additional cost to us. The work was completed swiftly and professionally. Ahmad contacted me very quickly (after I sent an initial message) and arranged for Sam to come over to take a look at the job within a few hours. Excellent service and quality of work. Attentive, friendly and diligent professional. Our roof was leaking, he knew exactly what was wrong by looking at the old roof (previous fibre glass workmanship was sub standard hence roof began to leak). They came around promptly, started and completed until all was done. He listened to what we wanted (take old roof off and start again) and carried out the job. Other roofers just wanted to go on the top, which was just putting a plaster on the problem. Good thing too, as it was rotting! Would definitely recommend. Give them a call and find out for yourself. George was really easy to deal with and they slotted my flat roof job in very quickly. It was supposed to be a two day job with 2 people, but, in the end George had 4 people for most of the day and got it done in one - which was very helpful. We employed Signature Roofs over a period of months to fit a new roof to our property and make some repairs to our outer walls.
