I was so grateful to have Sam & his team help us replace two Velux windows in our loft bedroom. These windows had been leaking for the past year whenever it was windy and rainy. Initially, the plan was just to replace the flashing, but Sam discovered that the wooden frames of the old windows were actually rotten. Not only did he secure great discounts on new windows and flashing for us, but he also identified rotten wooden battens underneath the tiles. He went above and beyond by replacing the damaged battens as well as some broken tiles, all at no additional cost to us. The work was completed swiftly and professionally. This company did EXCELLENT work for me, fixing an issue with rain ingress around loft dormer windows and onto the ceiling below. I chose them because of the quality of work they did on my neighbour's roof where they fixed a long standing issue. The work involved diagnosing the issue, slate tiling, lead work, taking windows out and back in and all the detailing on ensure rain runs effectively off the roof and dormers. Jack manages the company superbly and my project from start to finish. He promptly got one of his teams comprising of Andi, Tim and Arlind working for me. I needed quick work because of selling my home and because Jack has a number of people working for him, he was able to respond fast. Andi, Tim and Arland came everyday for 4 days, arrived on time, worked hard, were professional, friendly and very skilled at what they did and rightly proud of it. The ER team did a wonderful job on our leaking flat roof with a spalling brick parapet. The whole roof surface was replaced and finished with elegant porcelain tiles. while the water damaged ceiling below was repaired. The crumbling brick of the parapet has been wrapped in lead and now looks very handsome. We were very impressed by Jack Collings thoughtful supervision, by the care with which the team worked and especially by the skill of the lead-worker! Everyone involved was cheerful and a pleasure to have around.

Jack and the team were able to install, plaster, sort electrics and decorate bespoke windows in three rooms in less than 3 weeks. I cannot recommend Nunhead Roofing more highly. A host of problems was gradually revealed on our roof and terrace on a new build property after water leakage. Fortunately for us the problems were mostly covered by our structural defects policy and Mark was extremely helpful in our negotiations with the insurers on what turned out to be a huge roof replacement project. The quality of his work is outstanding and he was easy and straightforward to deal with.

The contract was for replacement of a pitched roof covering a pair of large Victorian semi-detached houses. Scaffolding was arranged by Mark and included in the contract. Removal of slates revealed problems with the brickwork. Mark investigated the full extent of the problems, documenting with photos. Mindful of our need to cap costs he estimated for this work quickly. Within a week of the start of work we had agreed a revised contract including replacement of some rafters, repair of the partition wall and 6 chimney stacks and new gutters. This quick and thorough action gave us confidence and peace of mind that no further work would be needed. This proved to be correct. Before removal of the roof Mark taped protective covering around the scaffolding to minimise the mess caused as slates were removed. During the work we were in constant communication, ensuring that no problems arose. The original contract estimated 6 weeks for completion and even with the extra work completion was within 8 weeks. The finished roof looks great. We thoroughly recommend Nunhead roofing, both for the method of work and the result.

Him and his team showed up as promised consistently and everything was done by the book - detailed quotes, insurance back guarantee, building control certificate etc. Always responsive when asked for updates/photos. Work completed to schedule despite the really poor condition of old roof structure. Work was done with no fuss, was able to leave them to it as access was via scaffolding out front. New roof looks great. Strongly recommend to anyone needing any roof work done.

Matthew and his team came to the rescue at short notice, just before Xmas, and did wonderful job at saving a massive leak into my bedroom. I couldn't find a roofer to help out on such short notice but Matthew did everything possible to get his team to work on a Saturday to fix the issue.
