Delicious meal in a very pleasant environment. Staff were friendly and made us feel.welcome and tended to throughout. Good value for great quality.

Came here on a Sunday night based purely on the reviews. Premises are an old pub converted into a restaurant. Situated on a main road (B600) with a large car park at the rear. Friendly welcome which was quickly followed by poppadoms and dips. After ordering our starters and drinks came quite quickly. Main courses of a chicken madras and a mixed grill followed. The restaurant is nicely done out with modern fixtures and fittings. Only downside was that my chicken madras had too much tomato in the sauce, but that is down to how the chef learnt to make them. Otherwise all good. Would definitely come again.

Very professional staff made is feel welcome from the moment we arrived, loved that its bring own alcohol, food was tasty and fresh, more than enough and a good price.

Just had an absolutely fantastic meal here. Service was outstanding, wanted a spicer than normal curry and listened to exactly what I wanted and it was perfect. Food and service was top notch! Would definitely recommend anyone to come here!

We visited Pesto for the first time and were presently surprised by the food, service and atmosphere. We had the lunch option which meant that we could pick from a number of parts which were grouped into three price brackets. We had three plates each (6 total), shared them between us and they were the perfect amount to satisfy both of us. I would recommend visiting Pesto as I think it is one of the better examples of a small chain.

Really nice restaurant, staff were very kind and quick to take orders. Food was really good, reccomend getting 3 dishes each and sharing. All had good taste and portion sizes together weren’t too bad! Would recommend the meatballs! Would definitely come back 👍🏼

Lovely!! Went with the Mrs to celebrate our anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better night. David our server was polite and nice to chat too. The food was delicious and not over priced. Will definitely be going here again and highly recommend it to anyone who likes food.

Amazing food as always can't fault it however the service was disappointing to say the least, got sat at an outside table but waited for at least 20 minutes for some to come and take a drink order however no one came, so approached a member of staff to left them know we where ready. Bearing in mind they had already taken food and drink orders from tables seated after us, we then ordered food and drinks at the same time and then food was brought out pretty sharply but no drinks and no cutlery either. Shame has always been a great place to eat and never had issues in the past.

A fantastic restaurant/pub. We met with friends for dinner on a Thursday evening. We were shown to our table in the bar area which was lovely, all the tables in the main restaurant were all booked. The food was exceptional, they had some really nice beers on too and everyone really enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend this place. Quality food/drink, great service and atmosphere.

Incredible food and perfect attentive service. Bar was nice and warm for a cold night even without the fire lit.

I loved the fact that we were able to book online and put a note. We asked to bring our 3 dogs and the booking was confirmed We arrived, was seated and the food and service was utterly exceptional Pies were delicious and the Merlot amazing We didn’t get to desserts as it was a fleeting stop but wow!! Gasto quality in a local village eatery I’d go here weekly if we lived locally - congratulations guys your place is impeccable Loved it

Lovely cafe attached to The Hanger, Air Ambulance charity shop. Serving a selection of snacks, drinks and a huge range of cakes. Enclosed outdoor seating area, a super sun trap. Staff so friendly and welcoming.

Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! Never have I had one bad meal from here, always tasty and a really good price, beats anything’s around the area. Lovely and friendly woman who serves and the cook at the back is super clean and thorough

I've been going there regularly for around 30 years. Never had a problem with the food or service. The food is amazing. The premises are always very clean and presentable. Been going hear for 20 years and the food is brilliant. Never had anything bad hear, everything has been spot on, I can't speak highly enough of this place just brilliant.

We have used this takeaway for many years and it has consistently been top notch. The owners are lovely and efficient. The food is THAT good we drive over 40 minutes one way to fetch it. I’ve tried others near my home, in a city, when we moved from that area and we’ve found nothing anywhere near as good. Absolutely recommend - no question x

I used to come here everyday straight from work, I've moved area now,but now I drive I always travel back to somercoats for a good old chippy from here, absolutely amazing food and prices ,the mini mixes are brilliant sizes for the price, lovely staff to ❤️

Since moving to area I have used this chippy a few times, never disappoints! Tonight is the first time I’ve tried their chicken mix kebab. Was absolutely delicious ( I’m hard to please when it Comes to chippys because I’ve worked and cooked in them) The salad was so fresh and not your basic boring variety. The portion size and the flavour in meats fantastic! Highly recommend!! Photo does not do it justice because I’ve mixed it all together.

Great pub, not been in for about 30 years. My old favourite pub when i left school and started work 40 odd years ago. Still a great pub and cracking atmosphere. Met some friends from way back then. Will be back soon.

I went to visit a friend and we went to her local pub. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming the pub and toilets were clean. I felt very comfortable here and would visit again.

Fantastic friendly pub, it offers great beer, fantastic entertainment, great food, run by a landlord who likes to chat and have some banter with you, backed up by fabulous staff who are great

Lovely restaurant, original and old school and the restaurant seating area located in the school hall. Service was excellent. Can really recommend the steak and wild mushrooms pie was gorgeous, needed a little extra gravy but I like lots of gravy 😋

Table of six...the service was outstanding. Food was perfection. Was so nice to be served hot food and all at the same time. Puddings were beautiful and did not disappoint. Overall a lovely evening and would highly recommend. Well done to all staff, especially the chef!

We held a surprise party for my Mums 70th. We couldn’t have asked for more from start to finish. The food was fantastic and the staff were so helpful. Will definitely be returning

Wonderful birthday party at The Schoolhuse for 22 people. Food was good and service wonderful , couldn't have wished for a better party. The tables arranged so we could all be together.
