After dropping our things off at the B&B the Manners came recommended by the owner. Felt very welcome and the staff were all helpful and pleasant. We both had pie’s with great home cooked chips and mushy peas, although the portions weren’t massive it was fine for us and very tasty. Had a couple of drinks and this pub started a brilliant weekend stay in Bakewell, cheers!
Four of us met up here for Sunday lunch. 2 had the Steak pie with mashed potato and peas, both happy. The other two had delicious scampi with lovely mushy peas and chunky chips, only criticism very small portion of not so chunky chips. Service efficient and friendly. Would come back when next in Bakewell.
Amazing place! Booked a table in advance for Sunday for 3 people plus dog, the welcome and service we received was absolutely superb (nothing was too much trouble!), the food was all out of this world and well priced. Much fuss was also made of our dog. Can't wait to return on our next trip to Bakewell!
Under new management, and we were very impressed! Warm and friendly staff who were very welcoming and efficient. Gorgeous roast dinners, beef cooked beautifully, with really fresh veg. Lovely atmosphere, and nice and clean. I highly recommend! Thank you 🤩
