The Sunday roast was excellent. It was quiet when we went in at 4pm but that's no issue. Had a pint of Topical Storm which is possibly the best pint I've had this year!
Brilliant place. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Made us feel so welcome. Very impressed with the service Food was super tasty I had the tomato pasta with Salmon and my friend had sausage and mash. We both highly recommend
Absolutely love this pub. The new owners have created a wonderful venue to eat and drink and chill. The food is second to none in town, absolutely stunning, they should be on MasterChef. The staff are so friendly and accommodating.
I’ve had 2 meals here recently, one with my husband and one with a friend group for a Christmas dinner. Both times the food has been amazing and plentiful. Lovely, friendly staff too. Looking forward to my next visit.
Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch today. Beautifully presented, generous portion, cooked to perfection and served by very friendly attentive staff. We had to wait a little while but it was well worth the wait. Highly recommend The Anchor - will definitely return.
