Just popped in for lunch. We had the lighter 2 mains for £17. Nice choices and good quality. We shared a dessert which was perfect as was large. 2 drinks and bill was £30. Very good value. We live within walking distance so will be returning to work through the menu. Service was very efficient and friendly
Hosted my husband's 60th Birthday Lunch there today for 40 plus guests....From booking a few months ago to today the staff were amazing 👏 Gary,Thank You for your help, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who were present today.The service was excellent and now on to the food....absolutely delicious carvery!!! Could not fault any aspect of the choice,quality and taste. So to sum up my review HIGHLY RECOMMEND Thank you....EVERYONE involved in the smooth running of the restaurant on an extremely busy Sunday lunchtime. Our Celebration 🍾 was made so special and without any stress for us. All of our guests said they were impressed so it's not just our opinion...you've got 40 more !!!!
Stopped here 4 times now and I actually like it, staff are friendly and the room I have (always get the same room) is always clean and pleasant. Get breakfast left by your door in for the morning which I love and the price is good. Haven't tried the food here yet as I always eat out with friends but maybe 1 day I will try it 🙂
We held our wedding reception in the Garden Room and it was perfect. 3 course meal for lunch then charcuterie table for evening, all looked and tasted fantastic with nothing but glowing compliments from guests. Staff on the day were brilliantly helpful and friendly, as was Gary in the whole planning process. They all made the day relaxed and seamless, thank you! Would not hesitate to recommend for a private function, and so pleased it’s our local!
Visited today and had not booked. We were greeted and enjoyed drink in bar area. Sophie made a lovely table available for us to then eat and sample the menu. Food was delicious, generous portions and very good value for money. Staff made us very welcome on our first visit and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely experience.
