Excellent food with a wide range of choices. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

A Night to Remember at Santiago’s, Buxton Last night, my family and I celebrated a truly special milestone- my 5-year sobriety birthday. Choosing Santiago’s for this occasion turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the moment we walked through the door, it was clear this was no ordinary restaurant—it was a gem. The food was absolutely exceptional—each dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. The tapas, in particular, was nothing short of perfection. Every bite felt like a celebration in itself, making the evening all the more special. What truly set Santiago’s apart, though, was the incredible team. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. As someone who often feels uneasy about dining out, I was amazed at how comfortable and relaxed I felt throughout the entire meal. Their kindness and professionalism made all the difference. We were so impressed that we booked our anniversary meal for December before we even left! I cannot wait to return and create another set of wonderful memories at this beautiful restaurant. A great Spanish restaurant in Buxton. The staff are knowledgeable, fun and offer good advice. We had 6 tapas plates, bread, oils and a drink each. This came to just over £50. They are dog friendly too, just let them know when you book. And do book, this place can get busy with the nearby theatre and spa. Have the albondigas in a rich tomato sauce or if you want a vegetarian option, go for the aubergine fritters.

Absolutely incredible food. Order 7 tapas (because I'm greedy and love tapas), a pitcher of sangria and a soft drink. Came to just under £70 which felt really good value. The service was a bit of a let down. Was asked what we wanted to drink as we sat down but hadn't even looked at the menu. Took 15mins to come back. Took another 10 to order food. Once ordered, the food came really quickly though. We were then asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu which we did, took a while to bring it us and then we were seemingly forgotten about so we eventually flagged someone down and asked for the bill. Such a shame as I would still return and still reccomend this place as the food is truly outstanding. Staff just need a better structure perhaps.
