Wow, from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and efficient. I opted for the special, steak burger with old Amsterdam and sauerkraut. I was not disappointed this was the best burger I’ve eaten for years if not the best. Key lime pie for dessert … perfection. Well done to all the staff at Lubens.
Oh my days — the food was drool worthy 🤤🤤 There’s not a lot of selection if you are gluten free and don’t like fish, but the one option I did have was absolutely divine! Still thinking about it now 🤤🤤 Get the Camembert!!
Being here during Christmas time was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing with reasonable prices. The interior is cosy and beautiful with a lovely wood burn fireplace 😻
**4.5/5 stars** I can’t give .5 scores on Google. We had a lovely Sunday dinner at Lubens. The environment and atmosphere of the pub are top-notch - it has a cozy and welcoming vibe. The service was very good, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. They also have a great selection of ales, which is always a bonus! The food was generally spot on, with a delicious roast dinner that hit the spot. However, if I'm being picky, my one complaint would be that the beef was slightly overcooked. It was still tasty, but could have been more tender. Overall, we had a great experience at Lubens and would definitely recommend. The atmosphere and service make it a great spot to relax and unwind with family and friends.
