Stopped for coffee and cake. The cafe has a very pretty exterior and we sat outside. The cakes were excellent. We had a very enjoyable time.
Have eaten here many times over the years, and never disappointed! As a Coeiliac eating out is tricky and often anxiety inducing, but never had an issue getting something gluten free here, and best of all no reaction afterwards from cross contamination. Staff are welcoming and accommodating, there’s always a great range of food on offer, locks for the bike racks too, so you don’t have to worry about someone walking off with your bike while you have one of their amazing milkshakes! The cafe also organise a great range of rides, it really is a welcoming and inclusive place with a lovely atmosphere 😊

The adventure cafe's passion for wholesome food and the love of the outdoors, makes it a staple for any Peak District visit. At a time when lazy menus and edison lightbulbs are abundant in many cafes. The adventure cafe delivers authenticity from the hills to the plate.
My first visit was an extremely pleasant experience because the staff are so happy and humourous and my coffee ☕️ was good. This establishment has a happy, relaxed and informal feel, just as it ought to be. I'm not surprised that it is so popular. This cafe is worthy of five star approval.
