I loved the fact that we were able to book online and put a note. We asked to bring our 3 dogs and the booking was confirmed We arrived, was seated and the food and service was utterly exceptional Pies were delicious and the Merlot amazing We didn’t get to desserts as it was a fleeting stop but wow!! Gasto quality in a local village eatery I’d go here weekly if we lived locally - congratulations guys your place is impeccable Loved it
A fantastic restaurant/pub. We met with friends for dinner on a Thursday evening. We were shown to our table in the bar area which was lovely, all the tables in the main restaurant were all booked. The food was exceptional, they had some really nice beers on too and everyone really enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend this place. Quality food/drink, great service and atmosphere.
Stayed at a little Airbnb just up the road so it would have been rude not to visit. Very impressed with the whole establishment and the vision of the owners. It was very busy so we booked online (easy) and chose from the varied menu (hard). Afterwards, we moved into the bar and tried to decide which was the best ale (difficult) before walking back to our accommodation (impossible). Will definitely visit again when in the area. Highly recommended.
Really delicious food. Clean and nodern pub with nice old charm. Verybreasnably priced for the quality of food and service you recieve.
Staff were excellent, just the right amount of attentiveness, and extremely happy. The food was first class, picture perfect presentation with a taste to match. All round great experience
