Hettie is a fantastic tutor, calm, patient and understanding. I have two girls with very different personalities and academic needs, year 6 and year 4. They both really enjoy their regular lessons. My eldest started with Hettie in the summer before the Kent test, when she expressed a wish to try for grammar school. Her maths was half way off where it needed to be. She engaged with Hettie's tutoring and was encouraged to put effort in her maths studies through the summer and got a pass! We then started our youngest on regular lessons to help encourage her with her maths and English. When it came to half term - she insisted to have her lesson even during the holidays. That's a win from an 8yo! I'd strongly recommend Hettie to anyone looking for a tutor for primary school, for 11+ or Kent test or just for general academic help.

We have been absolutely delighted with the tutoring and support Hettie has given to our 12 year old daughter whilst she prepared for Year 8 grammar school entrance tests. As a family we have had experience of how Kumon can help a childs knowledge and confidence by going back to basics and progressing through all the levels. When our daughter began to struggle with Maths in year 2 we started her at the centre with Reema. The secret is plain and simple repetition and little and often. It has been especially helpful to be able to continue throughout lockdown and although we haven't had our weekly face to face sessions Reema has been very good in keeping contact and support over video messaging. Kumon continues through all the school holidays making sure the children don't slip back.

What can I say? Reema delivers. Excellent service worth every penny. Both of my children have improved significantly in their maths and English since starting at her centre. She's very involved in their learning, always keeps in touch, always send out regular updates and very encouraging...encouraging both the students and the parents! One of my children starts secondary school in September and the other is geared up for GCSEs and I can put their confidence, skills, and solid foundation down to Kumon's help.

I would highly recommend Kumon programme as it really helped my son to increase his efficiency on Maths calculations and gave him a solid knowledge on Grammar and English comprehension. Reema's management of the center is excellent. Her connection with the pupils and parents is remarkable and contributes in no small measure to their academic development in Maths and English. The impact on my children (boy and girl) is profound. They are confident and interested in the subjects. They look forward going to the center and doing their homework. My daughter's reading skills is at Year 2 standard even though she is in Year 1. Kumon English definitely gives her that ability. Aldo (chemistry and physics) and Siddharth (maths) are unbelievable. I rang Aldo in the summer before our twins' GCSEs for tutoring with them. Aldo and Siddharth have been an incredibly positive force in our lives - the twins' scores have gone up, but moreover their confidence, their study patterns, their approach to learning has soared. We have a weekly schedule of learning that the twins follow and I can say that Aldo and Siddharth are absolutely the best decision we have made regarding tutoring.
