Thank you so much to Nikki, who helped our son reach his goals in his GCSE results. 7 in English Lit and 6 in English Language. At the beginning we were unsure if he would make his 6 but to reach a 7 was a pleasant surprise. We have been so pleased with the English tutoring our son Sam received from Gavin. Thanks to Nicki and Gavin. It gave Sam just the extra boost and confidence he needed to make the improvements at a critical time and reach his potential . Whilst he was always a very able learner in most subjects we felt that his school wasn't quite able to support him enough with his English. Having an experienced male teacher seemed to also be a help to Sam and we are all so pleased with his GCSE results. In fact he progressed up 4 grades from one of his mock results with just a bit of help from Gavin.

I would like to extend a massive thank you to Aaron and his team for their support for my children. My girls had not completed the curriculum for Year 3 when they started Year 4, to my shock, when we joined Explore. Their progress had been badly hampered by Covid and schools closing for so many months. A year later one of my girls succeeded in achieving an Academic Scholarship and both girls have just been awarded places in two of the top independent schools in Hampshire. We could not have achieved this without the Explore team's support and hard work to get their learning back where they should be and to rediscover their confidence. I would highly recommend Explore which complements children's learning in school very well and allows focused support in areas of maths or English that they are finding tough, alongside their teaching in class.

Aaron and team are brilliant! So very good at knowing what makes our kids tick and helping them. Also very accommodating with us. Both our kids have noticed the advantage being tutored by Explore is giving them - particularly our son who is now having the GCSE Maths tuition and really enjoying being able to answer the trickier questions in class because he's already covered it in Explore. Our son was struggling with maths at school and it was just a few months before his GCSE's when we decided to send him to 'I love to learn' (as recommended by a friend) I had concerns that we'd left it too late, but thanks to Howard and his team, our son quickly gained confidence in areas of maths he'd previously given up on at school. The one to one sessions he received were extremely effective and he progressed well in a short space of time, and managed to pass his Maths GCSE! The team at 'I love to learn' are not only professional but approachable and friendly too. I feel they were particularly supportive and kind to our son and I would therefore highly recommend them.

My son due to been bilingual as English is not his first Language ,and being out of school at reception and half year 1 due to pandemic, and being identified with language disorder and luck of communication,starting at I love to Learn ,was one of the best decisions I have made for him( delayed though) as Since he started ,he liked been there and he had a very big progress during a short period of time. Our twins Anna & Maria started their Kumon journey from reception onwards.Which gave them a strong foundation on their Maths and English at school.I would say it wasnt easy,with lots of encouragement and discussion with the girls and their instructor Dr Maria woodford they started to show good progress.When they started to move up levels it was challenging at times.Lack of concentration and motivation was an issue.But Maria their instructor was always a call away to listen to their problems and always messaged back with solutions or followed back in class.Gradually they made excellent progress and currently doing Anna FI in Maths and G in English and Maria H in Maths and HI in English which is well ahead of their school curriculam. Their hard work and committment certainly paid off when the SATS results came this week .Both girls achieved "geater depth standard" in English-Grammer,Punctuation,Spelling and reading also in Maths, which is a scaled score of 110 or above for all. Maria the youngest of the twins got 120 the maximum score for English grammer and reading and 119 for her Maths.Her sister Anna also just behind her scoring well above 110.Very well done girls.We are proud of you both. Maria is a very thoughtful teacher!! Her lessons were useful and she is very patient with everyone in class always encouraging her students to try. My daughter start to love maths and every day to try more. In one year she changed everything! I would highly recommend the Kumon maths and English to anyone interested in learning!!

I would like to thank Maria and her team for all support, effort, passion, and kindness of teaching my girls - Raya Y6 & Alexandra Y3. The girls joined Kumon 2 years ago and I can see the great effect of these Maths sessions. Their thinking is quicker, their organizational skills improved, they are more open to challenges, they are much more disciplined and confident in their studies. I believe the way Kumon works helped my kids not just with the simple calculation and repetition of the maths methods, but developing other skills as well. Maria has been brilliant right from the start with my child. She made him feel welcome to the class and made Kumon exciting by being so positive and giving out lots of praise for even the smallest task. Even during lockdown she made a huge effort to keep the children in a schedule in a zoom class and my child has thrived and loved being a part of this each week.

Both of my children are attending Maths and English classes. I am very happy with the Kip team. They tailor education plan based on individual needs, provide regular feedback about children's progress, and advice on how children can be supported at home. My daughter has only done 4 sessions and has achieved a great mark in her end of year Maths exam which we are delighted with, as it sets her up to have a confident start after the summer holidays in the next year. Kip McGrath is worth every penny in giving confidence and exam skills. My son also attended a couple of years ago for his Maths GCSE and I am certain would not have passed without the training he had here. A very clever and expensive private tutor for 2 years did not help him as much as Kip McGrath did. Highly recommended.

Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

Tom helped me so much when it came to understanding the true depth to biology as a subject . He is a very supportive and kind teacher who helped me to not only gain knowledge , but also enjoy studying biology. I had a great experience being one of his students and I improved immensely due to his guidance.

I would like to thank Tom for all the support he gave me during my A level Biology course. I achieved an A in my A level Biology exam. The A level Biology group lessons were very informative. Along with the information provided in the lesson, Tom used active recall to test us on our knowledge and engaged us in the lesson which deepened my understanding and retention of A level Biology concepts. Furthermore, when we answered long question types we would use an interactive whiteboard to answer the questions, and he would regularly check our work and provide areas of improvement for our answers. Nicola at Forest 1st Tutoring managed to work wonders in getting our daughter up to speed in time for the 11+ exam. We left it very late in the day to start preparing and Nicola agreed to tutor across the summer term and summer holidays - primarily using group work with additional one-on-one sessions on top. The transformation in our daughter’s confidence and attainment was amazing. The tutoring would have been worthwhile regardless of the outcome as not only has she achieved a solid pass in the 11+, she has also been really well set up to make a happy and confident start to year 6.
